Now that CCMN 2024 seat allotment results are out, candidates can pay the Partial Admission Fee from July 6, 2024. The partial admission fee payment can be done online on the CCMN portal ccmn.admissions.nic.in. You can pay the fee using UPI/Debit Card/ Credit Card/Net Banking. Any payments made after the deadline will not be considered.
- Note that, the CCMN partial admission fee payment is a part of the institute fee and will be adjusted with the finally allotted institute admission fee.
- The last date for Online Partial Admission Fee Payment is July 10, 2024 (5.30 PM).
- Candidates also get the opportunity to withdraw from the admitted institute from July 6 to July 10, 2024.
CCMN has also released the schedule for Phase II Special Rounds and Phase III NSR on July 1, 2024. Special Rounds for CCMN 2024 Phase II starts on July 12, 2024. The last date for CCMN registration for Special Rounds and fee payment till July 16, 2024. Candidates can complete the CCMN choice filling and locking from July 12 to July 18, 2024. CCMN 2024 Seat Allotment of Special Round 1 will be out on July 20, 2024.

CCMN 2024 Eligibility Criteria
To participate in CCMN counselling 2024, candidates must meet the eligibility criteria given below.
- Candidates must have appeared for the IIT JAM 2024 and have a valid score.
- Candidates belonging to General, General-Economically Weaker Section (Gen-EWS) and OBC categories should have passed BSc or an equivalent course with at least 6.5 CGPA or 60 per cent aggregate.
- Those belonging to reserved categories (SC, ST, PWD) should obtain a 6.0 CGPA or 55 per cent aggregate
- Candidates in the final year of their qualifying degree are also eligible to apply, provided they submit the final mark sheet by September 30, 2024.
- For certain programmes in a few Participating Institutes, special eligibility criteria are applicable
- The candidates who possess certificates/qualifications from any of the professional societies {such as The Institution of Engineers (India) (IE), The Institution of Civil Engineers (ICE), The Institution of Electronics and Telecommunication Engineers (IETE), The Aeronautical Society of India (AeSI), The Indian Institute of Chemical Engineers, including Polymer and Environmental Group (IIChemE), The Indian Institute of Metals (IIM), The Indian Institute of Industrial Engineers (IIE), etc.} and have enrolled with these institutions with permanent recognition up to May 31, 2013, may also be eligible to participate in some of the PG programs, offered through CCMN-2024, as per the eligibility criteria of respective PIs.

CCMN 2024 Registration, Choice Filling and Locking
The application process for CCMN 2024 is entirely online. Follow the steps given below to register for the CCMN counselling.
- Go to the official website.
- Scroll down to the Candidates Activity Board and click on online registration.
- Now, click on the New Candidates registration button on the page.
- On the next page, enter all the required details.
- Next, click Submit and complete the OTP verification to get your registration ID.

CCMN 2024 Choice Filling and Locking
- Select and lock the preferred programmes the participating institutes (PIs) offer.
- Once you have locked your choices, you cannot modify them.
- If any candidates fail to lock their choices for CCMN 2024 then the system will automatically lock their choices.

- Within the first round of CCMN counselling, seats will be allotted to the eligible candidates based on the applicant's merit and eligibility criteria.

CCMN 2024: Submission of Willingness
The next step is to submit the willingness by picking one of the following three options:
- Float - If candidates wish to be considered in the next round for their better-preferred choices across institutes
- Slide - If a candidate wishes to be considered in the next round for their better-preferred choices only within the institute allotted to them.
- Freeze - If the candidate is satisfied with the currently allotted institute and is not interested in their better-preferred choices in the subsequent rounds.
CCMN 2024 Document Verification
- The respective college authorities will conduct the verification of the documents uploaded by the candidates.
- In case of any discrepancies, the officials will seek clarification on the same from the candidates, which they have to respond to online, by logging in to the CCMN portal.
- After successful document verification and confirmation of the seat, the candidate will be required to complete the admission formalities by depositing the balance institute fee.

CCMN 2024: Change of Willingness or Withdrawal of Seats
- If candidates are not satisfied with the seat allotted to them, they can change their willingness or withdraw the offer.
- While in the former option, candidates will be able to participate in the further rounds of the CCMN 2024 counselling, in the latter, they will not be able to participate any longer.
- For the change of willingness option, candidates have to select ‘Surrender and Participate in Next Round’.
- For the Withdrawal option, they have to select the option of the same name.
- While exercising these options, One-Time Passwords (OTPs) will be sent to your registered mobile number and email ID of the candidate. You are required to enter the OTP correctly to confirm the chosen option.
