Dislikes
- Accomodation problem for students outside Delhi as the college does not offer any hostel facility. The nearest place to get a pg is south extension.
- Classes are cancelled pretty often. At first it was fun but in the long run its frustrating
Remarks :
All that matters to get into this college is your CUET score. To get into any college of DU appearing in the CUET exam is must. The admission is done on the basis of merit. There are no further rounds of group discussion or any personal interview.
Course Curriculum Overview :
I chose bcom hons as my course because hons courses offers an edge over program course in general. The faculty of my college seems to be good but there are some pitfalls in few additional subjects. Like cancellation of classes very often or untimely completion of syllabus. But the staff, is cooperative and understanding and does there best to protect student's career.
Internships Opportunities :
No, not yet but the placement cell of college do offer internship opportunities for students of every field. Commerce students can get into various roles and even arts student can find opportunities in various fields like content writing, digital marketing etc. there are both paid and unpaid internships available with letter of recommendation and pre placement offers .
Placement Experience :
The college do provide placement opportunities for the students with average being around 5 lakhs per annum and highest being 23 lakhs p.a. , many companies like Deloitte, de shaw, Accenture etc visit for placements. Placements in finance and consulting background can be quite lucrative.
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :
Fees per year is 14400 Total fees- 3*14400= 43200 Additionally the examination form fees which depends on subjects that choose. My examination form fees is 1510. The fees seems to be stagnant since years and there is no rise.
Campus Life :
Life in college can be pretty happening and dull depending on the season. During exam season it gets really stressful and serious but otherwise there is always something happening. The societies always try to keep the environment engaging with their events . The fest season is coming soon too and the college has it's annual fest during Feb or March. I have heard the fest of dsc are great and fun to be in.

The internship opportunities are mainly available for the commerce departments and many companies also come to offer internships here. For humanities departments to internships comes mainly from the government ministries such as ministry of culture and home ministry.

The placement cell is active. Companies like Agile Capital Services, Chegg, and Wipro visit. Eligibility requires 60%+ marks. Highest CTC offered is around 8 LPA and Average package is 4.5 LPA. Around 40-50% students get placed, while science graduates prefer higher studies (M.Sc / B.Ed). My plan is pursuing higher education and managing my student e-portfolio platform.

Placement at PGDAV college are average students who have good communication skills internships and extra certification usually gets better opportunities the placement cell is active and organise placement drives , workshops , resume building session and career building guidance student should not have any active backlog

PLACEMENT FOR BBA ARE AVERAGE WITH COMPANIES OFFERING ROLE IN SALES, MAREKTING, HR AND OPERATION. AVERAGE PACKAGE IS AROUND 3 TO 4 LAKH PER YEAR MANY STUDENTS ALSO PURSUE HIGHER STUDIES LIKE MBA TO IMPROVE THEIR CARRER OPPORTUNITIES.

The placement is good for students of commerce background and even many arts students get placement. But for science students, there are rarely any science background companies hiring as even as an intern. Many science students go for higher studies. So, Rarely science students get placement and if placed then not in company of science background.

Course Curriculum Overview :
I chose my course because I was interested in learning a business environment and management processes. Faculties are very well experienced and professional , and teaching methods are good. Term exams are held every 6 months and difficulty level is not very high .
Doing masters in political science from Daulat Ram college
Placement Experience :
Drc has a decent placement for bachelors students and cell is very active, invites companies like Amazon, Deloitte, ipac , accenture, etc and offers around 6-20 lac. But drc doesn't provide placements for master's students, though there are many external opportunities to grab in . Masters student do apply for internships in political and policy roles and even get placed in political consultancies and awarded with fellowships.
Maitreyi college is so underrated

The placement opportunities are genuine, infact there is a dedicated placement cell in the college, companies like EY, Deloitte, KPMG, PwC too participate in our placement fairs and students have actually got good placements!
