Remarks :
I gave many exams such as JEE, JEE Advanced, BITSAT, VITEEE, COMEDK, etc. I got decent scores in each of these but it was not enough to get CSE in a Tier-1 college My priority was CSE branch only So my rank of 1641 in COMEDK got me CSE in this college There are 3 ways to enter this college COMEDK KCET Management Quota I took admission through COMEDK COMEDK consists of Physics, Chemistry and Math syllabus of 11th and 12th standard I got a rank of 1641 in COMEDK and got CSE (AI ML) in 3rd round of counselling (2023) The cutoff for each branch changes every year. Like CSE (AI ML) closed at 1850 rank in 2023 This year the cutoff is around 2200 There were no interview rounds, once you get a seat allotted through counselling, you just have to come for document verification
Course Curriculum Overview :
The curriculum is up to date with the Standards of Tier 1 colleges. You will experience a good academic life. I chose CSE (AI ML) because of my interest in AI and future technologies The faculties are well qualified. Almost all of them are PHDs with 10+ years of experience. And some junior faculties are currently pursuing their PHD while teaching About the exams, One semester end exam for 100 marks which is rounded off to 50 There are 2 CIE exams for 30 marks each (rounded off to 30 total) Lab internals and Quiz which are for 10 marks 10 marks are for Tutorial and assignments Making a total of 100 marks The exams are of moderate difficulty in CSE branch and
Internships Opportunities :
I am in my 3rd sem. Currently I have not opted for any internship. But the internship opportunities are great in this college. You can get internship referral through clubs and department activities. After all it depends on skill and knowledge
Placement Experience :
The eligibility criteria for different companies is different To be eligible in almost all of the companies you need to have a CGPA of 7.5 and above The placement opportunities are great. Many companies Visit the campus with great packages The highest package this academic year was 50 lakhs off campus If I don't get a campus placement then I will seek off campus opportunities
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :
For BE Courses The annual tuition fees for COMEDK Students are 273000 The same for KCET students is 83000 While taking admission in the first year you have to submit 32000 as skill lab fees (Which they will conduct after 2nd semester) That 32000 is only for first year, you don't have to pay it for the next 3 years Before each Semester end exams, we have to deposit 1650 as examination fees After the exams, if you want to get your answer sheets re-checked then there is a fee of 600 per subject The tuition fee for Management quota students is same as COMEDK students The donation for admission quota depends on branch to branch For example- 40 Lakhs for BE CSE 27 Lakhs for BE CSE (AI ML) 25 Lakhs for BE CSE (Cyber Security) 15 Lakhs for BE ECE and so on.
Campus Life :
The campus life is average as the campus is not that big in size But they do conduct fests like Udbhav and KR fest which are above average to be honest. Libraries are great with a lot of books and good ambience. The classrooms are also nice with Projectors and Green Chalk Boards. The sports facilities are not that great. There is a Basketball court, one tennis court, one underground Badminton Court and a separate ground for all other sports. There are many clubs in the college such as Ecell, IEEE, Velocita, MUNSOC, CODE RIT, etc. and almost all of them are active
Hostel Facilities :
The availability of rooms in Hostel is first cum first serve basis. You can apply through Hostel office I opted for Fresher's Block in 1st year The rooms are decent and spacious. The fee for double sharing room in Fresher's Block is 93000 For the 2nd year I opted Ratan Tata Block The fee for single sharing room is 170000 For double sharing it's 120000 But the rooms are like extremely good. Almost all of the basic facilities like Laundry, Gym, Room cleaning, Common Rooms are available The mess is pretty decent with average taste and good variety. Hygiene is also maintained. Both North Indian and South Indian food is served

For our degree program we have well placement opportunities other than bsc agriculture and btech biotechnology. For our college only company will come like itc,shula wine, Nestle etc and they offer good package minimum around 4lakh and some have aptitude test and interview some direct interview

There are top rated faculties which are present in the college who have pursued MBBS and MD degrees from top colleges and have for an exam to become a professor in this college and the teaching skills are pretty great as they make a topic pretty easy to understand for students

The placement and job opportunities are good in our college. Our college provides us only with UG Courses so most of the students pursue higher education after that. The placements are good in our college. If I talk about internships so they are very good. Our college provides both paid and unpaid internships to students.

The criteria is the cgpa should be above 7 and the companies visited are wipro, flipkart, amazon etc. the highest package is 48 lakh per annum and lowest pacuis 3 lakh per annum and the average is 6 lakh per annum

The placement of the college is excellent in the cse stream it has an average package of 9 lakh per annum and highest package of 38 lakh per annum it is a good salary or package for an engineer so it is good placement

Course Curriculum Overview :
Faculties are well qualified and some of them are doing active research. However the college does not have a very active research environment but they do not hinder a student from taking up projects outside. They provide all support like recommendations, attendance permissions etc.

All the faculties are well qualified and quite renowned in their research fields. However some of them have this quality of holding personal grudge and targeting. Some assume you know a lot and don't teach properly and expect more from the student. There is a lot of pressure even with internals, assignments and other things.

For placement, The student shouldnt have any backlogs. There are companies that are stated as "Great Places to Work" as well as some startups that come for college recruitment. The highest package last year (2023) was 6000000, and the average package of the university is approximately 850000. A good percentage of people who opt for placements do get placed decntly. My plans after my BBA are writing GMAT and going for my MBA abroad in a good college.
