Remarks :

Firstly the good reputation of this college makes it one of the best college in Bengaluru. And secondly, it's fascinating placement records are the main reason I chose this college. This college accepts admissions from government entrance exams i.e KCET and COMEDK, also they have their own entrance exam which is for their another branch. Also there is a option for management seats, which are made available, way before these entrance exams. Compared to other colleges in the state, RIT has a good reputation and also have maintained its legacy in this field, and hence making sure that the cut off each year goes higher and higher, making it challenging for the students to get in. And also the admission process is smooth, they just ask you to bring some necessary documents and there is a process of theirs to enroll into their database, and then they generate a temporary university seat number, which is used for further admission processes.

Course Curriculum Overview :

I chose this course out of interest, and also I have been hearing about the semiconductor industry boom, so this made pursue this course. The faculty in this college is very much experienced. Though there may be some communication problem between students and the faculty, but they do not lack in knowledge. If you are genuinely trying to learn, they are always ready to help. Most of the faculty that teaches here are MSc and PHd holders, they have a very deep knowledge in their field of teaching, also they have a lot of industrial knowledge which make them best in the market. Here one term is for approximately 4 months, and then we have our semester end exams, term exams usually take place for a month. Therefore, term exams takes place for every five or six months, making it easy and finely sufficient for the students and professors to finish their syllabus. And the question papers are not that difficult, would love to say the difficulty is moderate.

Internships Opportunities :

As Im in my third semester, I haven't opted for any internship as of now, but I'm planning to start doing it as soon as I reach fourth semester. For which I would be in need of some really good real time projects. But our college offers some really good internship opportunities as It has some good relationship with some industries which are always ready to help the students, if and only if the student is interested. A lot of my seniors have cracked some really good internship with stipends upto 125000rs per month, which is quite impressive. Also they have cracked PPO Offers too. When I had a chat with them, they said that projects are the key highlighting factors, they really outperform our resume from other' s. Projects help us a lot in grabbing good internships. People create good real time projects and they apply for them online or offline and then attend various interview process and crack them. This is how people get internships.

Placement Experience :

The placement records of this college are pretty good, as it's one of the best college in Karnataka, it has maintained its reputation in sending out best students every year. The eligibility criteria for placement is usually kept by the company visited, usually it's around for people above 6 and with no backlogs. Companies like Google, JP Morgan Chase, microsoft, samsung, intel, and many more visited this year and the total offers made were around 1650, which is pretty good. The highest package was around 51 lpa, and the average is around 9 lpa. The college claims that the around 95% of the students get placed, which is a pretty good number. My plan after getting my degree is to first gain some experience in the industry and then start something of my own, which should make some impact in the life of people, which should solve some problems and hence make some good money. This is how I plan to end my college and start a new life

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :

So basically I enrolled to this college under general category, and I have paid a tuition fee of 96574rs+24500rs for my first year. In which the 96574rs, is the govt engineering fee, and the extra 24500rs is for miscellaneous. And in my second year I paid 120000rs in total, which includes everything. And usually students have the option to pay half of their fees in the beginning, and then pay remaining half when they receive scholarship from the govt( applicable only for sc/st and OBC students). And another extra fee is collected just before semester end exams, as exam fee. Rs. 1650 is collected every semester, the students who fail to pay this fee are detained and not allowed to write their exams. As compared to other colleges, this college doesr not collect any unnecessary fees.

Campus Life :

The college has a good social life, there are a lot of active clubs be it dance, coding, art, anime, finance and lot more. The clubs always keep you involved in one or another competition, meets and many more. In this process we get to meet a lot of people. Also there are many cultural fests in this college. One and the main annual fest is known as UDBHAV which is celebrated every april, this fest goes on for 3 to 4 days with lots of programs involving dance shows, singing shows and exciting concerts which is awaited by every RITian. Also there are huge libraries for each department, like there's libraries in every building, making it easy to access books. And there are many cultural activities going on in college, and also there is importance to sports too, a lot of interest collegiate tournaments are conducted in this college. Many clubs like CodeRit, Theatrix Msrit and many more successful clubs completely run by students.

Hostel Facilities :

The hostels in the campus for the fresher is good, but once a particular student completes his first year they are asked to change their hostel, they are sent to a old hostel called Aryabhatta, which is nearly 40 to 50 year old, which is not so good. But theres on hostel outside campus which is owned by the college itself, it's pretty good compared to others. And also compared to other hostels in this area, the college is providing a very cheap stay, if you stay in Aryabhatta, it's like 70000rs including mess, laundry and the stay. Where as it's like 100000 for the one outside the campus, but the mess is same. Mess is actually very cheap, but the quality of food is not so good, and as they follow the same menu, students are tired of eating same thing again and again. Overall the hostels are good and also the food is good as compared to other pg or private hostel food. Hence considering affordability, college hostels are the best.

Quality Education In Minimal Fees

Placement Experience :

The placement and job opportunities are good in our college. Our college provides us only with UG Courses so most of the students pursue higher education after that. The placements are good in our college. If I talk about internships so they are very good. Our college provides both paid and unpaid internships to students.

Course Curriculum Overview :

All the faculties are extremely well qualified from top institutions of the world and they are all extremely approachable and nice. The term exams we had were split like CP1, CP2, and CP3 of 20+25+25 marks each. They were some easy ones, and some application based, which develops the engineering thinking mindset
