- I like the college infrastructure as it gives me good vibes, they conduct many events in the campus you can participate and enjoy the events. And I like the college canteen it provides the food in the affordable prices.
- I like the college time table they have set the time table such a way that the students should not feel burden. And I like the faculties their teaching is good and we can negotiate with them for cancellations of the class or to shift the class for other days.
Dislikes
- There are not much things which I dislike about the college, but one thing is that I don't like the mess food as I am a non vegetarian I don't like eating vegetarian all days.
- I dislike the holiday system of the college they don't give much holidays. After a sem you cannot expect the holidays. The holidays are only after completing the academic year. After completing a academic year you can expect all live of one month or one and half month.
Remarks :
The factors that made me choose this college are first of all the college is well reputed and there are well-experienced faculties. There are also more facilities in this college we can participate in anything that we are interested in. I have not noticed any bad things about the college till now. To get admission in Ramaiah Institute of Technology I cleared the KCET examination and I got into the Electronics and Communication branch as per my rank. The other states students can also get admission by clearing the COMEDK exam. The cut-off varies every year, to get your desired branch you should have ranked better than the previous year's cut-off. There is the very important steps to be followed during the option entry rounds, you have to set the college's priority order according to your rank ( for example if your rank is 850 and the previous year's Ramaiah's cut-off for the Computer Science branch is 900 then you can apply for Ramaiah College)
Course Curriculum Overview :
My opinion about my course that is Electronics and Communication, it is a booming stream in a coming 3 or 4 years as per the news I was heared. So I selected this course. According to me most of the faculties are good and chill and they have good teaching skills and some may bad because they don't put enough efforts to make the concept understand to the students. In some subjects most of the things we have to study on own. If I speak about exams there will be two internal examinations and in one semester and one semester end examination. The difficulty level of those exams are moderate, you can score well if you refer to your respective teachers notes. There is no need of additional reference books to clear those exams you can easily clear if you are aware of the concepts of the subjects. There will be 5 units in total in each subject.
Internships Opportunities :
I'am now a second year student I haven't opted for any internships till now. But there are many companies like microsoft, JP Morgan , adobe etc... are visited and some students were offered around 1 lakh stipend and there still many students who got stipend. There are more possibilities that the intern may get job in the same company where he is doing internship so never miss the internship opportunities. Be prepared with your projects this plays very important role in getting selected by companies so do the projects as much as possible.
Placement Experience :
The placement and job opportunities are more here. As many companies visit the campus for the selection. Most of the hard working students are got placed around 80 percentage of students got placement. The eligibility criteria for sitting in the interview is CGPA of the students, the company demands the specific CGPA those students who has that CGPA demanded by the company can only sit for the interview. The average package is 7-8 Lakhs per annum and the highest package is 55 lakhs per annum in the year 2024. Around 80 percentage of students will get placement, the students who haven't got placed can go with off campus placements, they visit the companies and they can give interview. But try go get placement on campus this will reduce the risk of being unemployment. So you need to maintain the CGPA above 9 in every semester so that you should not miss any opportunities.
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :
Ramaiah College has a one-time fee payment method that includes all the stuff, tution fees, registration fees, admission fees, development fees, and lab fees. For the students who got government seats through the KCET exam, it's around 100,000Rs per year and additional management fees are 25000 and students who have come through the COMEDK exam it's around 200,000Rs per year, and for management students it varies from branch to branch. And the reserved categories like SC and ST have the least or negligible fees. From 2nd year onwards the fees will be reduced that is around 10,000rs, I paid about 112000rs in the second year and it continues till the final year. Additionally, they take 1650rs as semester-end examination fees. For Karnataka students, there is a government scholarship named SSP which every eligible student can apply for, and from the college side they provide an Alumni scholarship that helps needy students this scholarship is for the students who are financially weak.
Campus Life :
Ramaiah institute of technology has a good campus and good infrastructure. The campus gives you a good vibe. Their are two, three types of fests are held every year one is Karnataka Rajyotsav(KR) fest which is held in the month of November, multiple events are held in this fest you can participate in any of the events, it is the one of the biggest fest of Ramaiah. Another fest is called UDBHAV which is held in the month of April in which SINGERS are invited to perform this fest is also a huge fest in which students have great fun. There are multiple libraries in the college there you get all the books ???? related to your stream, if students don't have laptop with them they can work in the systems present in the library.There are digital boards in every classroom. There is a good sports facilities you can play any sport you want ,there are multiple clubs you can join some are if you are interested in coding you can join the club codeRIT, likewise multiple clubs are present.
Hostel Facilities :
If students wants to live in the college hostel they can apply it in the freshers block, it is present inside the campus. If the student is fresher then their is a separate block for those students, so that ragging can be avoided. Their is one pure vegetarian common mess to all the hostels. According to the rooms prices may vary if room is with attached bathrooms the price is between 100000-130000Rs, if it's a normal room the price is lower. If you are not interested in hostel then there are many PG's nearby you can visit there for more details. The Ramaiah college hostel price is much lower as compared to other colleges in benglore and they provide more facilities in hostel like, they wash the clothes, they provide wi-fi, they clean the rooms whenever you want.

The placement and job opportunities are good in our college. Our college provides us only with UG Courses so most of the students pursue higher education after that. The placements are good in our college. If I talk about internships so they are very good. Our college provides both paid and unpaid internships to students.
