- There's a lot to like and a lot less to hate. The infrastructure of the college is great and is maintained frequently. The college building has around 16 functioning lifts and every lift has a doorman. There are peons assigned to every floor so that hygiene is maintained. Toilets are never too unhygienic, working pad dispensers on every floor with a dustbin in every single stall. Overall the infrastructure is very good. The faculty as I mentioned is simply amazing and very dedicated to providing the students with a good experience. The campus life has been very fulfilling and sometimes even a little hectic with so many clubs, so many places to be, so many friends and so many fun things to do. The game stalls, gaming events, movie screenings, seminars, debates, etc. Always keep the college brimming with life. The crowd is pretty decent too. It’s actually very diverse so it really just depends on who you choose to hangout with.
Dislikes
- Not a lot to dislike but sometimes the study load along with assignments, club activities and personal life can be overwhelming. It can be difficult to manage all things at once especially if you're unfortunate and have even one bad faculty. The admin office is a pain in the ass to even talk to. As a new student you have a ton of questions that only the admin office can answer. They treat their jobs like they're doing us favors which is extremely annoying. Getting a simple railway concession can take you 4 hours, thanks to the admin office.
- If you belong to a normal middle class family, tread carefully, it's okay to feel insecure looking at the sobo people with their drivers, latest Iphones and Stanley cups. There are better people around, find them, interact, they'll actually help you grow. Not to say the sobo crowd will not, from personal experience, the sobo tends to not take life and career very seriously and it's dangerous to constantly hang around such company
Remarks :
I chose mithibai solely based on the campus life, exciting college fests and wide array of clubs it offers. However, I was pleasantly surprised by the quality of education. The syllabus is very engaging and you're constantly exposed to things that our countrymen have done for literature, in India and worldwide. I've been exposed to entirely new arenas of literature from other native languages that I never would have known about otherwise. The teachers are genuinely interested in teaching and helping you grow. I did not have to give any specific entrance tests to be admitted to mithibai. It was solely based on my results from 12th grade. So if you're planning on not appearing for CET or if you can't, mithibai's BA is a really good option. Only a few courses like BA and B.Comm can admit you , other courses like BSc, BMS, BFM, require your CET scores. It's best if you score atleast 87% it'll ensure smooth admission into any course you want along with the subjects of your choice.
Course Curriculum Overview :
I chose to pursue English as a major subject and sociology as a minor since the faculty of both the subjects are very well qualified and hold revered positions in their respective fields. The faculty for English is simply amazing with their intense knowledge and constant curiosity to connect everyday lives to literature. Even a lecture at 7 am feels engaging enough thanks to the faculty. It's very difficult to grasp some concepts in literature, for example sonnets, jacobean and Elizabethan dramas, the types of sonnets, etc. The faculty is really helpful and will take the time outside of teaching hours to clear your doubts if you approach them. Their teaching methods go outside the classroom and beyond the blackboard. We constantly have screenings of short films, plays and dramas available on the internet. We have recently scheduled to watch aplay at the NMACC which is being done by the students of mithibai.
Placement Experience :
Mithibai has a placement cell that takes care of placements. And the opportunities for placements are not limited to last year students. You van apply for smaller internships and sometimes even jobs from first year itself. In some clubs like dllle, it's mandatory to have a 3 month internship in the second year of college. It really pushes you to start building your resume from early on.
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :
I'm currently in my second year of college and my fees in the first year was 500 less than it is in the second year. No scholarships are available for this course specifically since the tuition fee is really cheap as it is. As for sc and st students, while it is easier for them to get admitted to mithibai, the tuition fees for them is not much lower than normal.
Campus Life :
If the campus life could be described in one wor, it would be "AMAZING". The number of opportunities, clubs, societies... endless. We have clubs for finance bros, art hos, fashion divas, marketing guys, psychology nerds, what not. The amount of exposure you can get after joining even one of these clubs will really help you with your resume and help you build connections and more importantly, friends for life. A lot of these clubs have smaller fests and carnivals constantly. Everyday in mithibai for the past 2 months, half of the already small campus is decorated with stalls from different businesses and brands. So if you own a small businesses, mithibai carnivals are definitely a spot you do not want to miss. The event of the year is undoubtedly kshitij. And while the management is subpar at best, you make some of your best memories in those days. If you're looking for friends and someplace uou belong, definitely join kshitij, you will not regret it. The pronites are to die for!!!

Placement was Good as there is a placement cell in the college that looks on managing placement for students by inviting Companies from different sectors Companies like Amazon Deloitte, Accenture, Reliance, HCL, Hyundai, HDFC bank, YES Bank, Axis bank etc. These companies make a number of offers to students offers an average package ranges 3 LPA and highest was 28 - 32 LPA. Companies conduct interview sessions, practical test, GD for selection of students and students needs to qualify all rounds to get selected also Internship opportunities was provided by college to give students practical experience and to give knowledge. Internship was also provided by college to give students practical experience and knowledge about current changing environment.

i chose computer engineering because i was interested in the technical field and wanted to build my career in engineering. the faculty were qualified and helpful, and their teaching was a mix of thoery ,ppts and practical. term exams were conducted on time and the difficulty was moderate

Placement Experience :
Placement opportunities are not so widely discussed by our faculty. My plan after the program is to appear for ugc net exam and to become an assistant professor. The minimum salary for assistance professor post is approx 35000.

The placements & job opportunities in the campus placements is good in our college like honestly it is good and also it is reason for students to take admission because there are many company coming to college. The average package is around i will say is 4.5lpa of all branches and here ENTC and MECHANICAL branch have more than 96% placement rate The highest package is of 22lpa which was from CS. The ground reality the percentage of students placed from this college is around 70% like the core branches students have higher placement rates and technincal branches placement rate is of around 70%-80% the core branches students also gets placed in tech. The main recruiters are TCS,ESDS,WIPRO,TECH MAHINDRA,INFOSYS,L&T and more. NVIDIA was also there but last year they banned the college because some students cheated in online interview.
An industry focused learning experience
Placement Experience :
I haven't reached my placement stage yet but from what I have seen the college doesn't wait until the final year to start preparing students. We have coding sessions, skills building workshops and career guidance from the beginning. Seniors also share their experiences which gives us a better idea of what to expect. I feel the college is helping us build the right foundation for internships and placements. At the same time, I think getting a good job also depends on how much effort we put into improving our own skills. So far I feel I am on the right track

The number of companies coming for campus placements go down with each passing year. The companies that do come (TresVista mostly) are quite poor in terms of work ethic and payout methods. This year, around 40-45 students from the graduating batch got campus placement out of the 110-120 that applied.

Psychology as a field is highly recognized and growing sector after the lockdown,people are more focused on mental health,thus bhavans was the best option as they have Psychology department set for almost 20years which makes them more experienced. The teaching method of Dr.kranti Gawali the hod is excellent.

Placement are very good there are multiple job opportunities provided in a college multiple companies also visit for the placement in second third year students also internship provided and multiple students get PPO from that internship so but in 2024 the internship and placement both ratio is little low or the highest placement gone till now is only 35 lakh per annum
