The major factors are it's location, the crowd, and the platform it provides to the students in cultural and academic aspects, and also the infrastructure is really good but there is no such campus, they do have a gym and a place for table tennis and carrom but no other sports ground or facility. The admission process is just on the basis of 12th marks and cuet/cet, and no other rounds, for outside students it tough they must score bove 85-90 %
It is an easy course and provides me wider reach of career, a lot of faculties are ca's, cs, etc and some of them are drs as well, term exams and internals are taken as per schedule only and it is clearly laid down
Yes they have several opportunities for internship although I didn't went for the on campus internship they all were good and from good companies like Zomato etc as well, the roles that they provided were in operations and mostly sales not a lot of tinance
Eligibility criteria for most placement is above 7 gpa, and all the big 4s and other companies have also visited with good packages, highest package is around 19lpa and Lowest will be 2.2 lpa, percentage is low as people mostly go for higher studies
The year wise fees paid is around 12000-14000, and the breakdown is not very much, it is mostly the tuition fees, etc and there is a provision given for sc,st and OBC that they just have to give around 2000-4000 rupees
There are a lot of festivals like Kshitij, Finanza, reclamo, numero, etc. they are conducted from November to February and on a large scale handled by students so you get to learn a lot, there is huge library as well.
There is no hostel but you can opt for the nmims hostel which is very expensive also they definitely have hostels nearby college which are private hostels but they are also very expensive although they provide really good facility
I haven't reached my placement stage yet but from what I have seen the college doesn't wait until the final year to start preparing students. We have coding sessions, skills building workshops and career guidance from the beginning. Seniors also share their experiences which gives us a better idea of what to expect. I feel the college is helping us build the right foundation for internships and placements. At the same time, I think getting a good job also depends on how much effort we put into improving our own skills. So far I feel I am on the right track
no placement data is present now but many of students are working on their own projects and few are cracked the internships and now currently serving their period on the companies and it's really great opportunities.
The college does have a placement cell. It provides some in campus placements . Rarely 2% students get in campus placements. Rest have to find jobs pn their own. You wi have to do alot of interships and gain practical skills to be placed
Diffrent companies have different criteria, limited companies comes in campus such as bootcoding Pvt.Ltd , and some small companies arrived. Highest package giving by companies is 4 LPA lowest package is 3LPA and average package is 2.5LPA. about 20% of students got placed. Searching a job after my course computation.
The faculty members are supporting but inexperienced the experienced professionals have left the college long time ago. This is one of the old colleges in Pune. The semesters are generally proactive extracurricular activities are less and are given not much priority .
There are the placements are done in the final year of college, You are eligible for the appear in the placements drive you have to score good scores in the semester exams. engineering course curriculum is very old specially for university batch students my batch get admission in 2022 at that our college is not get autonomous status. passing semester exams is little hard in university compare to autonomous batch. faculties teachings methods are very old. And not practical learning provided.
there are lots of mnc company visted college every year, most of companies have there eligiblity criteria is 60% and above overall from 10th, the biggest tech companies like tcs, wipro, accenture, deloitte, infosys, the average package is around 3lpa, every year 50 to 70% students getting placed.
The placements are nice. Majorly Hafiz contractor firm take students. But a lot of firms do come fruit placement. Take interview and hire students. Last year a lot of students got placements based on their portfolios and skills And got salaries ranging from 2,50,000-6,00,000 Annually.
The placement and job opportunities in college is good the MOU's signed by company are good almost 40-50% of college gets placement remaining go for off campus placements there are companies like TCS , Accenture etc
