Likes
- The one and only thing is the highest offered packages and the faculties. The officials are very strict towards curriculum. Hence, students are getting quality education.
Dislikes
- I dislike the overall infrastructure of some blocks of the college. It should be well-constructed by using good building materials along with ACs in all apartments and rooms. The fests should be conducted from time to time(as there have been no fests conducted by the college itself).
Remarks :
The only thing is to submit the whole fees of the corresponding year for the course. Major factor which made the reason to choose this college is its increasing placement opportunities. Skills and bonafide girls having good communication can easily get the opportunity to get high packages. The admission criteria is the jee ranks or other competition based ranks. I had given jee. We get admission here by applying only on jac Delhi portal(which is responsible for seat allocation of students in top 5 colleges of Delhi). Students fill colleges according to their preferences. Once, they get a seat in any 1 of them, he/she has to physically go to the college to get all the documents verified and admission done after a fixed seat allocation fee 95000 payed. There must be no delay in fee payment. After this, the students may get another college acc. to their preference list. The remaining fees has to be paid to the college before the session gets started.
Course Curriculum Overview :
The academics introduced in 2024-25 are amazing. Subjects such as Communication skills, soft skills, system and signals which were earlier used to get introduced in second or third year have now been added in the first year to enhance new skills and upscale the quality of education. The faculties are very good. The exams are conducted two times within a period of 4 or 4.5 months. The exam levels are moderate to difficult level. I personally chose this course as I was always fascinated by computers and I knew I want to do it and I can utilise my full potential on something I am always interested. Also, ECE subject has uses in space fields too. So, I would love to contribute in space field for a period of time in my life.
Internships Opportunities :
No, not yet. As I have been in this college for a period of only 4 months. I have not done any internships yet. I will be doing one very soon. Also, it is compulsory to do internship in the upcoming summer holidays.
Placement Experience :
As I am first year student, who has just completed first semester (around 4 months). I am not much aware about internships. But, I know about the placement opportunities. The skilled and worthy students can really get high packages offered from this college. The highest package has gone up to 82 lpa in india and 1.2cr internationally. The college, these days, is becoming popular for opportunities in big companies and more higher packages.
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :
The fees increase every year. The tuition fees for the 1st, 2nd, 3rd and 4th year are 137500, 137000, 147500 and 155000 including all other charges. The additional charges are not given anywhere properly on the official website. The SC, ST categories can avail 100 percent scholarship on tuition fees providing that their information is correct. Merit cum means scholarships are available only for students who have taken admission in 2022. And for the rest of the students, government has not launched anything. So, it is still in doubt. Dr. Babuajee Jha Scholarship is given to all the toppers of first year students of every branch for B.Tech. students. Likewise, Mrs. Phool Devi Scholarship is given to second toppers of first year students of every branch. There are so many scholarships and awards available. As I am in first year, I know only a few of them and their accuracy.
Campus Life :
There are various clubs and societies. Although, they should be more active, so that students can realise their potential at their fullest and do something other than academics to enjoy the campus life. The college launches a cultural, sports and a technical event every year in which students from over hundreds of colleges come. Students can practice football, badminton etc. at any time they want. Debates, fashion club, singing club are run by students themselves.
Hostel Facilities :
I have not applied for hostel. As I am a student residing in Delhi. Students from outside Delhi are generally accomodated here(approx 300 students). The fees is around 1.3 L every year including mess fee.

The placement is good for students of commerce background and even many arts students get placement. But for science students, there are rarely any science background companies hiring as even as an intern. Many science students go for higher studies. So, Rarely science students get placement and if placed then not in company of science background.

I chose my course because I was interested in learning a business environment and management processes. Faculties are very well experienced and professional , and teaching methods are good. Term exams are held every 6 months and difficulty level is not very high .
Doing masters in political science from Daulat Ram college
Placement Experience :
Drc has a decent placement for bachelors students and cell is very active, invites companies like Amazon, Deloitte, ipac , accenture, etc and offers around 6-20 lac. But drc doesn't provide placements for master's students, though there are many external opportunities to grab in . Masters student do apply for internships in political and policy roles and even get placed in political consultancies and awarded with fellowships.

The placement opportunities are genuine, infact there is a dedicated placement cell in the college, companies like EY, Deloitte, KPMG, PwC too participate in our placement fairs and students have actually got good placements!

du sol provides placement in news 18, aaj tak and job opportunities as according to the course of student pursuing. just visit to du sol north campus head quarter ask for the facility they will provide . bad thing is they dont provide on regular basis.

The placement cell is quite active. There are always placement and internship fairs every year and even other college students can join them. The placement recruiters are from top companies like Deloitte, KPMG, EY, etc. Although, not every one gets in these companies but then, there are other companies as well like Finshots, Voice Your Vichaar, etc. The average package is 3LPA and highest package is 8LPA.

talking about placement opportunities many companies come to campus including google microsoft to core companies like texas instruments and bajaj giving a decent job opportunity. each one with a cgpa of more than 7 easily grasp job with pay of more than 12 lpa and people with decent cgpa of more than 8 grasp top jobs in the campus
