Great Girls College Experience at IGDTUW
Remarks :
I choose this college becuase of placements. As it is a girls government college so the opportunities are much more than any other btech college.Bad thing about this college is that it is a small campus with not much space for sports.
Course Curriculum Overview :
I chose Cse because it is the top branch in this college and it offers great opportunities in the future. Teachers here are supportive and term exams happens in 2 months and they are not that difficult. If you attend classes you can score really good.
Placement Experience :
Placement opportunities is the strength of this college .Internship opportunities also come in 2 nd year on campus. So from 2nd year placement opportunities come in the college . Big companies like Uber , Google , Microsoft etc come on campus.
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :
2024 - 147000 .The fees will increase every year but not by much. Scholarships opportunities are available in the college. Student can also apply for scholarship outside the campus. Rest fees like lab fees, development fess etc are included in the fees.
Campus Life :
Life at campus is amazing if you make friends and personally societies are great for improving your personality . Taarangana is a fest which occurs in the month of feb-March. Library in the college is nice equipped with Ac and charger points for laptops. Most of the societies and clubs are run by students themselves like hypnotics, rotaract etc. Girls are very supportive with each other and they hype each other.
Hostel Facilities :
The fees for hostel for this year is 1,47000. I am a day scholar but as told by my hosteller friends the food is ok. Sometimes its good and sometimes its bad. Food quality is ok and the hostel fees is also affordable and is roughly equal to any pg fees.

The placement is good for students of commerce background and even many arts students get placement. But for science students, there are rarely any science background companies hiring as even as an intern. Many science students go for higher studies. So, Rarely science students get placement and if placed then not in company of science background.

I chose my course because I was interested in learning a business environment and management processes. Faculties are very well experienced and professional , and teaching methods are good. Term exams are held every 6 months and difficulty level is not very high .
Doing masters in political science from Daulat Ram college
Placement Experience :
Drc has a decent placement for bachelors students and cell is very active, invites companies like Amazon, Deloitte, ipac , accenture, etc and offers around 6-20 lac. But drc doesn't provide placements for master's students, though there are many external opportunities to grab in . Masters student do apply for internships in political and policy roles and even get placed in political consultancies and awarded with fellowships.

du sol provides placement in news 18, aaj tak and job opportunities as according to the course of student pursuing. just visit to du sol north campus head quarter ask for the facility they will provide . bad thing is they dont provide on regular basis.

The placement cell is quite active. There are always placement and internship fairs every year and even other college students can join them. The placement recruiters are from top companies like Deloitte, KPMG, EY, etc. Although, not every one gets in these companies but then, there are other companies as well like Finshots, Voice Your Vichaar, etc. The average package is 3LPA and highest package is 8LPA.
