What does a college take for you to choose it!
Remarks :
the exceptional placement scenario made me choose the college after JEE. Apart from that, it is easily close to my home and the metro connectivity is great. The selling point was a government college at a rather low jee rank in a high tech branch.
Course Curriculum Overview :
Permanent faculty teach good but some of the staff on contract isn't all too efficient with their teachings methodology curriculum has lately been edited and tech subjects have been added recently making it remarkable for freshers and enhances their skills!
Internships Opportunities :
no, but I have taken part in some hackathons and stuff. It has helped me enhance my skills and learn more into the inside of the tech industry and what it takes to be a good software developer - all with the fun of doing it with my friends.
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :
The total fee is of and around 5.4 lacs (estimated) with per year's being around 1.25lacs. Waver in fee is for SC/ST and EWS upon request of a scholarship for the same. Not known about how much the waiver is but it definitely lessens the burden!
Campus Life :
Campus Life is good if you're able to make friends easily and are socialable! The environment in all is competitive which makes you thrive to learn and inspire more from other people. Good opportunities require great deal of efforts and skills - exactly what you can enhance here!

The placement cell is active. Companies like Agile Capital Services, Chegg, and Wipro visit. Eligibility requires 60%+ marks. Highest CTC offered is around 8 LPA and Average package is 4.5 LPA. Around 40-50% students get placed, while science graduates prefer higher studies (M.Sc / B.Ed). My plan is pursuing higher education and managing my student e-portfolio platform.

The placement is good for students of commerce background and even many arts students get placement. But for science students, there are rarely any science background companies hiring as even as an intern. Many science students go for higher studies. So, Rarely science students get placement and if placed then not in company of science background.

I chose my course because I was interested in learning a business environment and management processes. Faculties are very well experienced and professional , and teaching methods are good. Term exams are held every 6 months and difficulty level is not very high .
Doing masters in political science from Daulat Ram college
Placement Experience :
Drc has a decent placement for bachelors students and cell is very active, invites companies like Amazon, Deloitte, ipac , accenture, etc and offers around 6-20 lac. But drc doesn't provide placements for master's students, though there are many external opportunities to grab in . Masters student do apply for internships in political and policy roles and even get placed in political consultancies and awarded with fellowships.
Maitreyi college is so underrated

The placement opportunities are genuine, infact there is a dedicated placement cell in the college, companies like EY, Deloitte, KPMG, PwC too participate in our placement fairs and students have actually got good placements!
