- I like the passion of the faculty members to teach the take off rarely.
- Infrastructure of our college is good it has ground, amphitheater, auditorium, library and well furnished classrooms.
Dislikes
- College location of our college is not good it is in East delhi very close to noida. It is too far from any other colleges of delhi university.
- Campus life is good but not very good like fest end in the evening due to safety of girls.
Remarks :
I chose this college because firstly it is a girls college and that course was available also with the tag of delhi university. I have given cuet exam. No cut offs was there but college will be allotted on the basis of your cuet score and how many student have applied for that same course. I prepared for it with the help of YouTube only. If u have prepared for your 12th well you can crack it.
Course Curriculum Overview :
I am a biology student and I didn't want to do the traditional courses that is why I chose this course. Faculty members are PhDs and have done the study in that particular subject or field. Internal exams and semester exams held timely and the difficulty level is moderate like in some subjects you can feel it is difficult but some are easy. It is basically depends on how much you like that subject.
Internships Opportunities :
I have not opted for any internship yet. But my seniors did it was without any stipend and u have to find internship on your own. College will not give you the internship and you have to do it in your summer vacation holidays only.
Placement Experience :
As I am a second year student I haven't got any placement or internship yet. As heard from senior no such company visit for the placement in our college for our college. You have to find internship on your own. Yes some companies details are given to us by placement and internship cell of our department to call and ask for internship. My plans after getting the degree is to get placement in nestle Or to prepare for fssai.
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :
In 2024 for the 2nd year of my college fees I have paid 25080 and it will increase every year. In 2023 for my 1st year I paid 22300. College offers fee concession for economically weaker students it's is based on the fee that how much u can get but it is little less than 50% of the fees.
Campus Life :
Campus life is good many fest are conducted through out the year. Like diwali mela, annual fest, technical fest etc. Library has a very good collection of book of course and also journals . Classrooms are well equipped with acs, ro, desk, moving chairs and for our course devices and machines also. Sports fest is also organised in our college with everyday yoga and aerobics classes those who want to do a minor degree in physical education can do that also. We have a lot of societies in our college like elvira is painting society, aahar is food society, aaharya is dance society, mukhauta is drama, tedex, NSS, menstrual cafe, north east cell, entrepreneurship cell etc.
Hostel Facilities :
I have not opted for hostel but my friend who is a hosteler according to her food is nice rooms are well cleaned and airy. But hostel rooms are allotted to only first year students and after 1st year to only those students whose native place is too far. I live in a rented flat the locality here is too good market is near, clean. I live in mayur vihar phase 3 it is close to college you can also go by walking and by bus also.

The placement cell is active. Companies like Agile Capital Services, Chegg, and Wipro visit. Eligibility requires 60%+ marks. Highest CTC offered is around 8 LPA and Average package is 4.5 LPA. Around 40-50% students get placed, while science graduates prefer higher studies (M.Sc / B.Ed). My plan is pursuing higher education and managing my student e-portfolio platform.

The placement is good for students of commerce background and even many arts students get placement. But for science students, there are rarely any science background companies hiring as even as an intern. Many science students go for higher studies. So, Rarely science students get placement and if placed then not in company of science background.

I chose my course because I was interested in learning a business environment and management processes. Faculties are very well experienced and professional , and teaching methods are good. Term exams are held every 6 months and difficulty level is not very high .
Doing masters in political science from Daulat Ram college
Placement Experience :
Drc has a decent placement for bachelors students and cell is very active, invites companies like Amazon, Deloitte, ipac , accenture, etc and offers around 6-20 lac. But drc doesn't provide placements for master's students, though there are many external opportunities to grab in . Masters student do apply for internships in political and policy roles and even get placed in political consultancies and awarded with fellowships.
Maitreyi college is so underrated

The placement opportunities are genuine, infact there is a dedicated placement cell in the college, companies like EY, Deloitte, KPMG, PwC too participate in our placement fairs and students have actually got good placements!
