This is a 3rd tier college, i did not do well in my entrance exams which made me take this college, i did not have to face any Group discussions, Interviews or written tests for admission, we just have to provide some documents and pay the fees.
My branch is Computer Science and Engineering with specialization in artificial intelligence and machine learning, this is a good course to pursue considering the future prospects. Although teacher's do not seem to be that much qualified or maybe not eligible to teach in this field but it's a tier 3 college at the end and we can not expect much, self study is the only way to grow.
I have not yet done any internships till now, but as much as i'm aware, they provide it to student's in 7th semester of the college, that is the penultimate semester before our graduation. I won't say we have the best opportunities but they are pretty descent.
The placement record has been decent over the years, which consistently attracts companies like TCS, Infosys and L&T regularly and offers opportunities in Software development and IT services. Different branches has also decent placement scenario.
The fees varies for different categories, for general category it's much higher than that of other categories. For general category it's around 1.5L and for OBC it might be around 80-85K, and for SC,ST student's it's 3100Rs. The fees structure might change every year but it's around that range only. The exam fee for every student is same, it's 3000Rs.
YASH is the main fest of our college, it is conducted at the start of the year. Then we also have departmental fests which are conducted in August mostly. Library is really good, most of the books are present. Sports We do not even have a playground, there's just a basketball court that's it. There are a lot of clubs which we can join in our college for different interests.
I have not opted for a hostel as i'm a localite here, but as much as i am aware, the mess food in our hostel is real good, the prices are kind off affordable as it's around 18K to 20K yearly which includes food.
I haven't reached my placement stage yet but from what I have seen the college doesn't wait until the final year to start preparing students. We have coding sessions, skills building workshops and career guidance from the beginning. Seniors also share their experiences which gives us a better idea of what to expect. I feel the college is helping us build the right foundation for internships and placements. At the same time, I think getting a good job also depends on how much effort we put into improving our own skills. So far I feel I am on the right track
no placement data is present now but many of students are working on their own projects and few are cracked the internships and now currently serving their period on the companies and it's really great opportunities.
The college does have a placement cell. It provides some in campus placements . Rarely 2% students get in campus placements. Rest have to find jobs pn their own. You wi have to do alot of interships and gain practical skills to be placed
