This university has one of the best faculty and they admit on the basis of the Cuet score. It is compulsory to have taken general test in order to get into honors courses at this university. To prepare for the CUET, I would prefer solving competition booklets and work sheets and reviewing and going through all your 12th class learning.
The course curriculum is divided according to different time periods with two mandatory discipline courses every semester. The faculty are mostly phd holders in their fields and are highly experienced with approachable nature.
I have opted for internships but not from the Uni, mostly these internships and placements messages run on the mail chain but they are often non-paying. For history, it's better to look at government portals or students run history socities like Silsila and Historologus by other university students.
There is indeed a training and placement cell in the Ambedkar university ran by students. Only setback is that it mostly offers internships and placements for mba students and thus other students are left with nothing in their hands.
The fees is taken per semester with it increasing with every batch, the batch of 2023 has fees of per sem as 25000 rupees. There are fee waviers for economically weak students and the scholarship process is quite tiresome and mostly unfruitful.
There are various student run socities expanding from co-cirriculars, course oriented, political wings and government-aided like NCC and NSS. AUD doesn't organise any fests, if they are arranged, it's through students. There are also sports team such as girl's football running in the uni with interactive groups like tails of AUD for dogs of uni and humans of ambedkar.
The hostel is only for girls, based on merit and you had to renew the access every year. Also, the wall plaster is crumbling apart, the food is unhygienic with hair and insects found swimming around. There is curfew of 8 pm but the wardens are good natured.

IGNOU offers limited direct campus placement opportunities, but the degree is widely recognized and helps improve employability. Students mainly secure jobs through off-campus applications, competitive exams, or by upgrading their skills. The flexible learning system allows learners to work, prepare for higher studies, or pursue professional certifications alongside their course. IGNOU also conducts periodic placement drives through its Campus Placement Cell.
The internship opportunities are mainly available for the commerce departments and many companies also come to offer internships here. For humanities departments to internships comes mainly from the government ministries such as ministry of culture and home ministry.
The placement cell is active. Companies like Agile Capital Services, Chegg, and Wipro visit. Eligibility requires 60%+ marks. Highest CTC offered is around 8 LPA and Average package is 4.5 LPA. Around 40-50% students get placed, while science graduates prefer higher studies (M.Sc / B.Ed). My plan is pursuing higher education and managing my student e-portfolio platform.
Placement at PGDAV college are average students who have good communication skills internships and extra certification usually gets better opportunities the placement cell is active and organise placement drives , workshops , resume building session and career building guidance student should not have any active backlog
PLACEMENT FOR BBA ARE AVERAGE WITH COMPANIES OFFERING ROLE IN SALES, MAREKTING, HR AND OPERATION. AVERAGE PACKAGE IS AROUND 3 TO 4 LAKH PER YEAR MANY STUDENTS ALSO PURSUE HIGHER STUDIES LIKE MBA TO IMPROVE THEIR CARRER OPPORTUNITIES.
The placement is good for students of commerce background and even many arts students get placement. But for science students, there are rarely any science background companies hiring as even as an intern. Many science students go for higher studies. So, Rarely science students get placement and if placed then not in company of science background.
I am as of in starting of 3rd year. The internship options are quiet really well. They give you many companies to apply in. .
I chose my course because I was interested in learning a business environment and management processes. Faculties are very well experienced and professional , and teaching methods are good. Term exams are held every 6 months and difficulty level is not very high .
Drc has a decent placement for bachelors students and cell is very active, invites companies like Amazon, Deloitte, ipac , accenture, etc and offers around 6-20 lac. But drc doesn't provide placements for master's students, though there are many external opportunities to grab in . Masters student do apply for internships in political and policy roles and even get placed in political consultancies and awarded with fellowships.
The placement opportunities are genuine, infact there is a dedicated placement cell in the college, companies like EY, Deloitte, KPMG, PwC too participate in our placement fairs and students have actually got good placements!
