- I really like the coege infrastructure and the campus. It is very vibrant.
- The best part about my college is the library. There are variety of books and it is very spacious too. I love to be there in the library
Dislikes
- I quite don't like the crowd of the college. Most of the crowd is full of book worms and the societies are not very corporating as well
- The faculty of my college is not that great . They do not cooperate with the students that much.
Remarks :
This is an all girls college which is really great for our safety . The course curriculum and the faculty of the course is incredibly good for the development of a student. This college is among one of the best colleges in the delhi university. We had to give an entrance exam for admission and only the meritorious students were able to get a seat in the college. The rankings and the safety of the college made me opt for the course in this particular college.
Course Curriculum Overview :
The curriculum of my course is good. I am pursuing BA program therefore we have to study two different domains. The syllabus of both the domains is really interactive and useful for building a knowledge base. The books recommended are that of great writers and helps us to grasp the conceptual base of the domain sturdily. The faculty of my geography domain initially was not very great . To be honest i was disappointed at first but after the new faculty is awesome. They are very helpful and has strong knowledge base. The other domain's faculty is really nice and easy going. They are helpful and their way of teaching is immensely satisfying.
Internships Opportunities :
I have not opted for any internship till now . But the placement cell of the college is very active. They do provide paid internship opportunities from time to time. Many companies approach with various opportunities. I would rate the placement opportunities provided in the college really nice.
Placement Experience :
The highest and average package offered during Miranda House placements 2023 stood at INR 21.5 LPA and INR 8.97 LPA, respectively. Further, the lowest package offered during Miranda House College placements 2023 stood at INR 4.5 LPA. Apart from this, a total of 69 offers were released during Miranda House placements 2023. Apart from this, the highest stipend offered during Miranda House placements 2023 was INR 60,000. The overall placement provided in the campus is average. The whole placement process is based on the skills set of an individual.
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :
The year wise fees of my course is around 15000 which i consider pretty reasonable for the facilities provided. There aren't many other charges or fees applied throughout the year which is Financially great. However some extra curriculum fees are applied for example societal activities charges or MUNs participation fees. Overalls the college fee structure is pretty reasonable for the facilities provided.
Campus Life :
I really Iike being in the campus area. The whole campus is very cheerful with positive vibes . The crowd is fun,cheerful and easy going. The campus is very colorful surrounded by meritorious students. The infrastructure of the college is very good with ACs in most of the classes. The campus area is huge with lawns and gardens everywhere. The library of the college is very pretty. It is my favorite part of the college. There are tons of books available and reading halls are spacious too. The sports and extra curricular activities offer a wide range of activities. Overall, i am very pleased with the campus life of my college.
Hostel Facilities :
I have not opted for the hostel services. But as stated by my friends the hostel mess food is not that great and the facilities provided are very average .infrastructure of the hostel is also spacious. The hostel fee for one year is around 70000 approx.

The internship opportunities are mainly available for the commerce departments and many companies also come to offer internships here. For humanities departments to internships comes mainly from the government ministries such as ministry of culture and home ministry.

The placement cell is active. Companies like Agile Capital Services, Chegg, and Wipro visit. Eligibility requires 60%+ marks. Highest CTC offered is around 8 LPA and Average package is 4.5 LPA. Around 40-50% students get placed, while science graduates prefer higher studies (M.Sc / B.Ed). My plan is pursuing higher education and managing my student e-portfolio platform.

The placement is good for students of commerce background and even many arts students get placement. But for science students, there are rarely any science background companies hiring as even as an intern. Many science students go for higher studies. So, Rarely science students get placement and if placed then not in company of science background.

Course Curriculum Overview :
I chose my course because I was interested in learning a business environment and management processes. Faculties are very well experienced and professional , and teaching methods are good. Term exams are held every 6 months and difficulty level is not very high .
Doing masters in political science from Daulat Ram college
Placement Experience :
Drc has a decent placement for bachelors students and cell is very active, invites companies like Amazon, Deloitte, ipac , accenture, etc and offers around 6-20 lac. But drc doesn't provide placements for master's students, though there are many external opportunities to grab in . Masters student do apply for internships in political and policy roles and even get placed in political consultancies and awarded with fellowships.

The placement opportunities are genuine, infact there is a dedicated placement cell in the college, companies like EY, Deloitte, KPMG, PwC too participate in our placement fairs and students have actually got good placements!
