Remarks :
This college has an amazing brand name and good career opportunities available after graduation. I had discussions with my family, friends and JEE coaching teachers in order to understand the benefits of this college. The competition to get in this college is quite tough but at the end it is all worth it. You would have to study hard and be persistent in college as well but the future really is very bright. I cleared JEE after taking an year of coaching at Allen Sikar and then doing one year of self study during the Covid.
Course Curriculum Overview :
My branch offers a lot of time for me to explore new stuff and get hands on experience at various things. The course curriculum is easy but does not have a very bright academic career ahead. It was perfect for me since I had no plans of doing Mtech or PhD. Some of the faculty is hard to put up with and you get a B- grade even if you get an average score in their course . It is very disheartening but you have to play it smart and score well in other optional courses that you have to do and make up for the loss there. There are a lot of optional courses available and you can also pursue a minor degree alongside that aligns to your interest like I have completed mine in Entrepreneurship. There are 8 semesters and each has one major and minor exam. some courses might have additional terms projects or presentations. You also have to do a BTech project at the end of your degree in your own branch topics. There are some mandatory courses that you have to do
Internships Opportunities :
Yes. I have done 4 internships during my college life, three during the semesters and one which was to be done as a compulsory internship. I was hired as a business consulting intern at EY Parthenon, product management intern at Zavo,a business development intern at wootz, and as abusiness development intern at redopact. My average stipend was 12,000. The internship experience at every organisation were at par and each internship tried to build my personality and skills. I got to learn business presentation skills, communication skills, data analysis, research. I was also a research intern at INSEAD and a data analyst intern at IIT Delhi endowment fund.
Placement Experience :
There are a lot of job roles offered in campus placements and one can get hired. Even if someone fails to get placed through campus there are a lot of companies looking specifically for first tier college students and the college offers opportunities for students to start their startups as well. Everything can be sorted through the connections you make during the college life and different options can be leveraged to make a bright career future ahead if one is motivated enough to do it. Career advice is one thing that can be seeked actively through seniors and alums for help.

Campus Life :
You get a great social life at IIT Delhi. There are fests every six months and to name a few there are Rendezvous, tryst, Becon, Literati and Sportech. You get proper chance to outshine in any field you might be interested in. Other than these there are a lot of interesting clubs like Quizzing club, Culinary club, Robotics club, Dance, music, Art club and a lot more. Other than these major events there are numerous inter hostel events like Group Dance, Photography events, filmmaking events and General championship which you might have had a glimpse of on Chichore.
Hostel Facilities :
The hostel Life is amazing. More than livin' conditions you make bonds and connections for a lifetime. The hostel mess is good according to the bare minimum prices you have to pay and you get a single or double sharing rooms. You get all the amenities like washing machines, laundry services, security, electrician availability, daily cleanliness and extra helping staff. The architecture of hostels is different. There are 15 hostels altogether and there is one faculty professor in each hostel as warden. There are a lot of skill based workshops and other sports and cultural activities happening every few months.

The placement is good for students of commerce background and even many arts students get placement. But for science students, there are rarely any science background companies hiring as even as an intern. Many science students go for higher studies. So, Rarely science students get placement and if placed then not in company of science background.

Course Curriculum Overview :
I chose my course because I was interested in learning a business environment and management processes. Faculties are very well experienced and professional , and teaching methods are good. Term exams are held every 6 months and difficulty level is not very high .
Doing masters in political science from Daulat Ram college
Placement Experience :
Drc has a decent placement for bachelors students and cell is very active, invites companies like Amazon, Deloitte, ipac , accenture, etc and offers around 6-20 lac. But drc doesn't provide placements for master's students, though there are many external opportunities to grab in . Masters student do apply for internships in political and policy roles and even get placed in political consultancies and awarded with fellowships.

The placement opportunities are genuine, infact there is a dedicated placement cell in the college, companies like EY, Deloitte, KPMG, PwC too participate in our placement fairs and students have actually got good placements!

du sol provides placement in news 18, aaj tak and job opportunities as according to the course of student pursuing. just visit to du sol north campus head quarter ask for the facility they will provide . bad thing is they dont provide on regular basis.

The placement cell is quite active. There are always placement and internship fairs every year and even other college students can join them. The placement recruiters are from top companies like Deloitte, KPMG, EY, etc. Although, not every one gets in these companies but then, there are other companies as well like Finshots, Voice Your Vichaar, etc. The average package is 3LPA and highest package is 8LPA.
