Good college for placement and events
Likes
- The infrastructure is pretty good at chitkara the campus is clean and tidy with dustbins all around the college.
- There are regular events which happen every month so you can enjoy these and take part in it.
Dislikes
- There is attendance criteria 75% if you fail to meet it you won't be able to appear for end term exams.
- You cannot leave the college before 4 pm if you want to go you have to apply gate pass from your mentor.
Remarks :
I chose this college because it has good reputation of good campus placements and college events, there is no interview for admission if you have scored 60% or above in your 12th you are eligible for taking admission you don't need any entrance exam marks for taking admission.
Course Curriculum Overview :
The course curriculum was very up to date with technologies which are in demand in the industry and the teachers teaching are also highly qualified and teach us by making the class interactive by activities like quiz etc.
Internships Opportunities :
Many companies came in campus for internship opportunities the duration depends upon the company and the roles were software developer, web development, devops and many more and the stipend was average between 25,000-30,000.
Placement Experience :
The placements are good at chitkara University, many companies visit our campus some of them are razorpay, accenture,oyo, wipro, infosys and more and average package they provide is 5-6 lpa and the highest package during our batch was 36lpa.
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :
Fees per semester during our batch was 70,000 and during 1st semester they charge extra 10,000 which is admission fees , there is no scholarship you have to pay full fees even if you have 10 cgpa and the fees has increased during our junior batches which is around 80,000 per semester and hostel fees was around 30-35k and if you are a dayscholar fees depends upon where you live which can be between 13,000-30,000.
Campus Life :
The campus life at chitkara is very happening every month there is some event like a hackathon or dj night or some sports event in which you can participate, there are various clubs like sports club, hostel committee, debate club which you can join if you're interested.
Hostel Facilities :
I didn't opted for hostel but according to my batchmates the hostel was decent you were provided with cooler for summer and there were 4 person per room and laundry comes once and week so you can give your clothes and get them cleaned.

Placements are decent. Eligibility is typically at CGPA 6.0 or higher. Recruiters include TCS, Infosys ,Oracle, Wellsfargo etc.Highest package this year reached around 3 crores per annum as it was a foreign offer.

placement are good many cse students have package in crores i think cse nad ece branch is good but other branch package is around 10 lakh if i would suggest students i suggest go for cse or ece branch because in the era of artificial intelligence nad machine learning these two branches are booming and the package are also best in these branches you can also try for gate exam after the civil mechanical or electrical you can get jib in public plus private jobs

The placement opportunities are given by institute. There is a placement committee. A few visited recruiters are ICICI,HDFC, DE Shaw, Deloitte, EY, etc. the average package of IIM sirmaur ranges around 14-15 LPA. All students get placed and is supported by institute.
