I got this college on the basis of cutoff in CUET exam which is the entrance test for all the colleges of Delhi University. The college has great vibe of evening time which gives an different experience.
I have choosen Bachlor of Commerce Honours course in college as I have intrest in accounts and business the teachers and their teaching is pretty except for some teachers. Only class test and final exams per semester are there and their difficulty is quite normal.
Internship is offered by many companies and also by the college I have seen many students appointment with a stipend of 5000-10,000 in the administrative block of the college which in my way is a great way of making money while studying.
Placement if good the highest package offered was 21 lakhs per annum. Obviously the package and placement depends upon the skills you have if you have some unique skill then you can get a good amount of package.
Year wise fees ?15,675 per year course is of 3 years and 4th year optional. Registration fees of 250 was taken on CSAS portal and 1500 was taken for examination fees category waise the fee is same for everyone no discrimination was there.
The college does not have a grand fest like any private college it only have cultural fest that is Divyoutsav which happens on 23 October. The library is pretty good but it is quite small whenever I have visited it was always full book are all present there and fine is also minimal in case you forget to return it on time. Sports and college team are there for many games like cricket, football, athletics etc.
No hostel is there in the College I have rented a flat with few of my batch mates and I think it is really good experience as we have to manage everything ourselves which develops the habit of self dependent.
IGNOU offers limited direct campus placement opportunities, but the degree is widely recognized and helps improve employability. Students mainly secure jobs through off-campus applications, competitive exams, or by upgrading their skills. The flexible learning system allows learners to work, prepare for higher studies, or pursue professional certifications alongside their course. IGNOU also conducts periodic placement drives through its Campus Placement Cell.
The internship opportunities are mainly available for the commerce departments and many companies also come to offer internships here. For humanities departments to internships comes mainly from the government ministries such as ministry of culture and home ministry.
The placement cell is active. Companies like Agile Capital Services, Chegg, and Wipro visit. Eligibility requires 60%+ marks. Highest CTC offered is around 8 LPA and Average package is 4.5 LPA. Around 40-50% students get placed, while science graduates prefer higher studies (M.Sc / B.Ed). My plan is pursuing higher education and managing my student e-portfolio platform.
Placement at PGDAV college are average students who have good communication skills internships and extra certification usually gets better opportunities the placement cell is active and organise placement drives , workshops , resume building session and career building guidance student should not have any active backlog
PLACEMENT FOR BBA ARE AVERAGE WITH COMPANIES OFFERING ROLE IN SALES, MAREKTING, HR AND OPERATION. AVERAGE PACKAGE IS AROUND 3 TO 4 LAKH PER YEAR MANY STUDENTS ALSO PURSUE HIGHER STUDIES LIKE MBA TO IMPROVE THEIR CARRER OPPORTUNITIES.
The placement is good for students of commerce background and even many arts students get placement. But for science students, there are rarely any science background companies hiring as even as an intern. Many science students go for higher studies. So, Rarely science students get placement and if placed then not in company of science background.
I am as of in starting of 3rd year. The internship options are quiet really well. They give you many companies to apply in. .
I chose my course because I was interested in learning a business environment and management processes. Faculties are very well experienced and professional , and teaching methods are good. Term exams are held every 6 months and difficulty level is not very high .
Drc has a decent placement for bachelors students and cell is very active, invites companies like Amazon, Deloitte, ipac , accenture, etc and offers around 6-20 lac. But drc doesn't provide placements for master's students, though there are many external opportunities to grab in . Masters student do apply for internships in political and policy roles and even get placed in political consultancies and awarded with fellowships.
The placement opportunities are genuine, infact there is a dedicated placement cell in the college, companies like EY, Deloitte, KPMG, PwC too participate in our placement fairs and students have actually got good placements!
