- college infrasture is good Information technology has its own building while the other departments have their builidings in new college of technology
- the university campus is largest in asia the campus has many places to be explored college of technology have two buildings called NCT and PCT
Dislikes
- college location is not good and hostel timings are very bad for each holiday you take theres is a long process after which you get holiday
- talking about acedemics passing marks is 50% which is not good you dont get much time to upskill yourself
Remarks :
i think if you are from uttrakhand and not getting a good branch in NIT .This college would be great option the fee is less as compared to NIT or IIT and way more less than private college ..If you are geeting good breanch here take it
Course Curriculum Overview :
the sports facilities are amazing there is a big ground basketball court , seperate gym for boys and girls ..the only con is that the location of college ...Academics is much more kind of average like the other governtment college
Internships Opportunities :
no yet i m in my 2nd year now their is no internship opportunites college offers you have to look one for you ... yoou have to upskill yourself as a developer thereby you will get a internship oppotunity
Placement Experience :
placements are average for It cs branches they offer an average package of 6lakhs i think but for the core branches the placement is not good in this college core branches generally opt for the higher studies
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :
the year fees including hostel and mess is 100000, for the complete course it would be around 400000 , college and university offer a lot of scolarship such as one is for fee concession but you will oly get that if you have a goop cgpa
Campus Life :
so there are many clubs on the university level as well as at the college level you would definitely find something of your interest it would for sure improve you personality .. college of techolonogy also host a fesst called coloseum it is great fun the arist they invite last time was gajendra verma and before that ankit tiwari ,
Hostel Facilities :
there are hostels for every programm you opt for hostels are good and reasonable too girls get a sharing room with one more girls and boys get single room for 2nd and 3rd year ..taking about the food in girls hostel it is good and suffiencient balanced diet and many boys complain that their food is not good yearly you have to pay 40000 for hostle and mess combined timing for girls is 7;00 pm in summers and 6:00pm in winters and for boys it is i think 9 or 10

Companies do come here for placements and many students get placed as well but there's always the student factor as not everyone deserves to be placed either. My seniors are getting placed at 8.7 to 40 lpa specially the mba courses are getting placed higher.

To sit for placements, the students have to be in 3 semester. Few famous companies that came in for placements are HCL, Tech Mahindra, ICICI, ANZ, Infosys, Wipro, etc. The highest package this year went up to 40 LPA and average package was 8.7 LPA. Around 95% of students got placed this year. For me I want to work in corporate for a few years then I want to pursue my PHD side by side.

Placements are very good. Placement criteria is based on cgpa and student behaviour. Good cgpa and no back allowed you to sit in placement. Highest package is 1.24 cr and average package is 4lpa. About 60% students get placed per year from campus. Tech Mahindra, TCS, wipro, Deloitte HCL etc companies visited fir placement.

I choose this course mainly because I wanted to pursue marketing for quite some time as I am extremely extroverted person. The faculty here are pretty well qualified atleast the ones who have taught me they really take interest in making everyone interact and share opinions
