- i like nothing about this college because my previous college is much better. but i like the behavior of faculty till now.

Dislikes
- . no generator facility available and no pure drinking water is available. infrastructure is same from 1960.
- No AC classrooms . not even seminar rooms AC is working properly.
Remarks :
The factor which influence me to choose this college is its nirf ranking and icar ranking. I got admitted here by ICAR PG paper. here are no interview session in admission. you can also take admission here though GATE and through university entrance test. talking about my personal experience for this university is very bad, i will never recommend this university to anyone.
Course Curriculum Overview :
talking about faculty, all the faculty is well educated and well experienced, all the teachers are very friendly in nature. some teachers are strict though they are very helpful. most of teachers were studied from iit's. I am doing my M.tech in Soil and water conservation engineering because i have a core interest in this field. there are two sessionals per subject per semester and one final exam at the end of semester. Lab practicals are taken apart from these.
Placement Experience :
placements in this university is according to your performance and branch you selected for your degree. overall i can say placements in mechanical and computer science is more according to other branches. average package is from 5Lpa to 6Lpa.
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :
In M.Tech there are 47000 fee for odd semester and 40000 for even semester for students with general category, in which 20000 is mess advance per semester. in this about 15000 is tuition fee, 400 library fee, 1000 examination fee, 500 lab fee, 1000 electric fee and rest involves small amount like water charges, medical claim etc.
Campus Life :
this is the part i love to describe, finally find some space to release my frustration. lets start, so life at GBPUAT is incredibly boring because GBPUAT is located in a village called pantnagar. here nothing is good. and infrastructure of university is just like villages in NCR, Infact worse than those. here is nothing good to eat not only in mess but also outside. a city rudrapur is located about 20 km from university. but you can't go there because keeping own vehicle in university is not allowed and fare is 40rs one side and major problem is for girls they have to take permission for that also in written application signed by advisor and warden everytime. this rule is same for boys but there is some leniency for boys. even boys hostel are closed at 10pm. the people who thinks they will enjoy there college life like in movies are requested to not come here. there is no time left for fun as classes are from 9 to 5 and regular and not leniency is given in attendence. don't come.
Hostel Facilities :
infrastructure of hostels are very old. food of mess is very low quality except morning parathas. hostel is allotted online with semester registration. no cooler is allowed in hostel during summers and water supply is closed after 10 am.

Companies do come here for placements and many students get placed as well but there's always the student factor as not everyone deserves to be placed either. My seniors are getting placed at 8.7 to 40 lpa specially the mba courses are getting placed higher.

To sit for placements, the students have to be in 3 semester. Few famous companies that came in for placements are HCL, Tech Mahindra, ICICI, ANZ, Infosys, Wipro, etc. The highest package this year went up to 40 LPA and average package was 8.7 LPA. Around 95% of students got placed this year. For me I want to work in corporate for a few years then I want to pursue my PHD side by side.

Placements are very good. Placement criteria is based on cgpa and student behaviour. Good cgpa and no back allowed you to sit in placement. Highest package is 1.24 cr and average package is 4lpa. About 60% students get placed per year from campus. Tech Mahindra, TCS, wipro, Deloitte HCL etc companies visited fir placement.

I choose this course mainly because I wanted to pursue marketing for quite some time as I am extremely extroverted person. The faculty here are pretty well qualified atleast the ones who have taught me they really take interest in making everyone interact and share opinions
