- College campus is very huge and is very good for roaming as there are huge field and greenery all around
- Very nice and calm place for study and library is one the best place for it
Dislikes
- Temperature gets very high during summer and lights also get cut often
- Temperature is very low in winters and there is no sunlight for days because of fog
Remarks :
It is one of the best government engineering college in uttarakhand and is one the main reason for joining this college in the first place. The admission procedure is very easy and there is no interview, group discussion or written test for admission.
Course Curriculum Overview :
The course curriculum has changed as per the new education policy and the new curriculum is very good and there is no rush. Faculty is also good professors are well qualified and helpful. Exams are held each month with 1st and 2nd prefinals Then lab finals and then final exams.
Internships Opportunities :
No I have not opted for any intership as of now as I'm in 2nd year I will apply for and internship in this summer vacation and also It is compulsory to do atleast least one internship before completion of the degree program.
Placement Experience :
Campus placement is around 3 to 4 lacs per annum and only a few students get placement from the college. Placement are from good companies and if you get campus placement the salary also gets increased in a short amount of time according to your performance
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :
The yearly fees is 96000 that includes every expense including tuition fees, lab fee, Computing facility fee,hostel fees , mess fees and others. Scholarship is also provided through NSP and the amount differs according to category but it is available for all categories provided their annual income is less than 3 lacs for Gen category and 1 lac for ST and SC category.
Campus Life :
Personally my campus experience has been great . I met a lot of people from all around India with different cultures and it has been a great experience. College also have different clubs and extracurricular activities in which you can take part and learn a lot.
Hostel Facilities :
Hostel are not so good and the mess food is also just okay quality Rooms are alloted year wise in different hostels, In first year it of 3 person sharing one room In second year 2 person sharing one room In 3rd and 4th year you get personal rooms

Placement Experience :
Companies do come here for placements and many students get placed as well but there's always the student factor as not everyone deserves to be placed either. My seniors are getting placed at 8.7 to 40 lpa specially the mba courses are getting placed higher.

the placement support at DBS has been one of the best strongest aspects of my experience. the university regularly organized internship and live project, mock interview, aptitude training and industry interaction to prepare students for placements.
Underrated university for pursuing Management courses
Placement Experience :
To sit for placements, the students have to be in 3 semester. Few famous companies that came in for placements are HCL, Tech Mahindra, ICICI, ANZ, Infosys, Wipro, etc. The highest package this year went up to 40 LPA and average package was 8.7 LPA. Around 95% of students got placed this year. For me I want to work in corporate for a few years then I want to pursue my PHD side by side.

College have decent placement percentage which is ofcourse higher than other local colleges near by.Our college have avg package around 6LPA and every year big companies like TCS visit our college for recruitment offering good packages.

I am preparing for other services currently but yes the college do provide good opportunities for future, even the college has good record in placement for AME, BHM, BCA, PHARMACY courses. Majority of students apply for further studies in our course.

I would say the college really provides wide opportunities to the specialization courses, as I preferred to go for further studies, but my batchmates got placed in good environmental industries because of the Degree.

Placements are very good. Placement criteria is based on cgpa and student behaviour. Good cgpa and no back allowed you to sit in placement. Highest package is 1.24 cr and average package is 4lpa. About 60% students get placed per year from campus. Tech Mahindra, TCS, wipro, Deloitte HCL etc companies visited fir placement.

I choose this course mainly because I wanted to pursue marketing for quite some time as I am extremely extroverted person. The faculty here are pretty well qualified atleast the ones who have taught me they really take interest in making everyone interact and share opinions
