- The college infrastructure has quite greenary and a lot of space.
- The faculty is quite learned and all have phd degrees
Dislikes
- The infrastructure is quite old and outdated.
- There is hardly any campus life because there is not even a single good place to eat. If you are a junkie lover like me you are gonna suffer
Remarks :
The good aspects are that it has a very peaceful and study friendly environment. Here majority children are preparing for govt exams etc which makes this place quite competitive. The drawbacks are that there isn’t much exposure for the children. I have JEE exam for admission.
Course Curriculum Overview :
I’ve chosen this course because i find it quite fascinating and interesting. The subjects including physics concepts have my attention. The faculty is quite experienced. But i feel somehow in some cases we are not able to connect to them very much due to the huge age difference .
Internships Opportunities :
I had an internship at DESIGN TEXH STRUCTURAL CONSULTANT. I was the drafts person there. I made a few plans on autocad like a few houses etc. It was quite learning. I had the stipend of 4k. I designed and learned many new things in autocad
Placement Experience :
The eligibility criteria is to have a GPA of more than 6. A few recruiters are LNT. the highest package is of 6lpa avg package is 4lpa. The percentage of students getting in campus placement is quite low. My plan is to peruse masters in civil engineering
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :
The fees in gbpuat is quite affordable when we compare it with other institutes. It is a value of money. The tuition fees is 50k for a year with the library fee of 800rupees per year. The college has one of the largest library in Asia. The lab fees is 500 while exam fee is 2000. The room rent is 400 while electricity bill is 2k for two seated room. water charges are 120? per year in short the per year fees is less than 1 lakh.
Campus Life :
The main fest here is Colosseum. It is conducted in the month of april. Other events include razzmatazz, freshers nite, litrosphere, spardha etc. The library has a very vast variety of books. The college has a great campus which is quite large and a very big stadium. The clubs here are run by student body with almost zero involvement of the professors.
Hostel Facilities :
The food quality in my mess is quite good Hostels are allotted quite easily and are available for everyone. Herein we are not allowed to rent rooms etc except if our parents live here. The menu comprises of 4 meals a day breakfast lunch snacks and dinner

Placement Experience :
Companies do come here for placements and many students get placed as well but there's always the student factor as not everyone deserves to be placed either. My seniors are getting placed at 8.7 to 40 lpa specially the mba courses are getting placed higher.

the placement support at DBS has been one of the best strongest aspects of my experience. the university regularly organized internship and live project, mock interview, aptitude training and industry interaction to prepare students for placements.
Underrated university for pursuing Management courses
Placement Experience :
To sit for placements, the students have to be in 3 semester. Few famous companies that came in for placements are HCL, Tech Mahindra, ICICI, ANZ, Infosys, Wipro, etc. The highest package this year went up to 40 LPA and average package was 8.7 LPA. Around 95% of students got placed this year. For me I want to work in corporate for a few years then I want to pursue my PHD side by side.

College have decent placement percentage which is ofcourse higher than other local colleges near by.Our college have avg package around 6LPA and every year big companies like TCS visit our college for recruitment offering good packages.

I am preparing for other services currently but yes the college do provide good opportunities for future, even the college has good record in placement for AME, BHM, BCA, PHARMACY courses. Majority of students apply for further studies in our course.

I would say the college really provides wide opportunities to the specialization courses, as I preferred to go for further studies, but my batchmates got placed in good environmental industries because of the Degree.

Placements are very good. Placement criteria is based on cgpa and student behaviour. Good cgpa and no back allowed you to sit in placement. Highest package is 1.24 cr and average package is 4lpa. About 60% students get placed per year from campus. Tech Mahindra, TCS, wipro, Deloitte HCL etc companies visited fir placement.

I choose this course mainly because I wanted to pursue marketing for quite some time as I am extremely extroverted person. The faculty here are pretty well qualified atleast the ones who have taught me they really take interest in making everyone interact and share opinions
