I hear about it's environment and nature is so good that's why i come to this college. And i found it's true. I don't face any group discussion, interview or written test for admission. The good aspect of this college are its environment, teachers and its syllabus which is good. Only one bad aspect is that some of its buildings are old enough that it may cause accident someday.
I choose physics because i love it from 9th class. Everyone of our teaching and non teaching staff are very good, humble and friendly. Each of the teaching staff are M.Sc passes 3 are Phd and one are mphil also There are 3 exams happened in one semester. 2 sessional Exam and one final exam.
I haven't till get any internship. But our senior got, i know it because our senior - junior bounding is very good. They share every good things and study related topics. Some companies like Infosys take internship in our college.
There are 70% placement in our college which i seen from my seniors. The eligibility criteria for placement is that students need to be last semester or b.sc/ m.sc passed. Some of few visited recruiter is Infosys and some government.
The fee structure for 1st year is{ ~4500rs (odd sem) + ~1200rs(even sem)} normally, but if you are from BPL family and don't have backlog in previous semester then odd semester fee is ~ 1200 rs. The tuition fees, caution fees, registration fees, development fees, lab fees all goes under admission fee. There are scholarship for meritorious students.
I am enjoying my campus life. Its full of fests . Most of the fests are happened in January and August. There are one huge library in our college where we get old books which is not available outside. There are no social group, clubs except NCC and NSS.
Yes i git admission in hostel. We love our hostel its like our 2nd home . The food quality is average, not as delicious as home but good enough. Registration process for hostel is simple. First apply for hostel through admission form you get in office. If your name came in merit list go to college and take a challan and go to bank pay admission fee. Done . But if you don't want hostel, you can easily get a pg or rented room in college gate area.
Good-moderate faculty but maintenance of every other thing is very much not on time The authority doesn’t seem to be concerned about the students and delays every work and at the last moment you will be running around .
While the college does not guarantee 100% corporate placement, it facilitates campus interviews and internships. Companies like Amazon, Flipkart, and Tata have rec recruited or offered internships to a percentage of students.
There are teachers under which u can work and later they can surely help u land a intership, happened with one of my friend. But as of now department dont directly provide u internship. I dont wanna say vague or old numbers about average or highest placement data, so wont comment on it but overall its not that great but there are exceptions, like there are some brilliant minds who lands an enormous off campus placement.(My 2 seniors who r out of india right now) Last year Bharat electronics BHEL came and took 8 seniors for 13lpa package, some banking companies and TCs comes too. My plans after my degree is to get a job in electronic domain while also focusing on my photography and editing Passion Check my work on insta sodaa.edits
Placements At B. Borooah College for a BSc Forget it. There's no placement scene like you hear about. No companies come for recruitment drives. The so-called placement cell just puts up notices for government job ads or maybe a local pharmacy needing a helper. I've never seen a single big name visit campus to hire BSc grads. So there's no list of recruiters, no number of offers, and definitely no talk of high packages. Zero students get placed from here in that way. The plan after the degree is everything. For me, it's going for an MSc. For others, it's preparing for government exams, doing B.Ed., or applying to labs and hospitals directly. This college gives you the valid degree, the ticket to sit for other exams or apply further. It doesn't get you a job. It makes you eligible to go find one yourself. Your future is 100% in your own hands after you walk out.
There are 100% internship in Bsc agriculture are also good the average packages 3 to 4 LPA the highest package is 12 LPA percentage of students getting placements are about 70 - 80% the eligibility criteria depends upon the performance of the student on its practical work and its CGPA
The ratio of placement and job is very poor, this is a college of general degree course, so after passing B.Sc., B.Sc. one does not get a job directly, in future one has to do Masters degree, PhD.But data from the last three/four year revealed that students did get jobs in SBI and some other organization, but the percentage was very low. That is why most of the students after completing normal graduation take admission in courses like Masters and BEd, Deled. And my plan in future is to do Masters from IIT or IISER, after that I want to do PhD.
I forever had a dream of starting a business by myself as I come from a business background I also wanted to help my father in his work , I wanted to grow my father's business by just putting technical efforts so this is the reason I chooses commerce Teachers are of very friendly nature and helpful If you attend regular college you won't face any difficulties in exams
there is a CPI criteria of around 6 to sit for placements. The highest packages for bachelors can go up to 1.5cr. Companies in coding include Google, Amazon, Flipkart, Ola, Uber, finance companies like JP Morgan, Goldman Sachs and many more. Highest paying companies are AlphaGrep, Quadeye, JaneStreet but that is very competitive with only people with the best results and from CS getting in. Many people also receive preplacement offers after internships. There are also many companies that visit for product management roles like Ola, Meesho etc. The placement process for Design students is separate. There are also core companies like Texas instruments, that visit.
You must get more than 7 CGPA to sit in the placement. TCS, L&T, Jacobs etc and the highest package is around 21 LPA around 15% are placed every year.Iwill be doing PHd in IIT after getting my degree.
I choose this course because I am interested in learning coding and I want to seek my future in this line. I am finding some difficulties in understanding the subjects and topics but I believe it is because I am new to this field and new to everything.
