- I dont like that there was not any generator facility in our hostel
- I dont like about the placement facility because they dont give placement
Remarks :
No we dont give any entrance exam or interview for our admission our admission is mark based our hs marks and percentage i choose this college because for the good education system and the environment which was very beautiful the building structures and the hostel facility specially for the girls
Course Curriculum Overview :
My course is BA in philosophy i completed my graduation in this subject with 72% our teachers are very helpfull in nature they provide us notes and learn us our books very deeply exams are in 6 month semester wise 6 time we should have to gives exam and also there was sessional exam
Internships Opportunities :
How much i know there was not any internships or any project we just can complete the course of our subject there was some extra course like tea cultivation and computer course i know this things only otherwise our college is good in every way
Placement Experience :
We dont have any placement facility and job opportunities we only can complete our study i just completed my graduation there was also some subjects in masters i think the head teachers can help if anybody ask for any placement
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :
The fees is like about 25000 our college also provide scholarship the ugc ishan Uday scholarship the amount is 54000 which is very helpfull to us to complete our education because we also have to take admission in hostel in total we spend more money and because of the general caste i dont get any other scholarship therefore the college fees is valid it was like minimum for every college
Campus Life :
Our college campus was vey big and full of trees flowers and plants it was very clean have all facilities of electricity and water there also a big library provides all books and old question paper and newspaper there was also give ncc training and in the campus there was a vrindavan where we group discussed about our study
Hostel Facilities :
Hostel food are good and also the rooms are very spacious and have all electricity facility and water are also 24 hours available it was very affordable monthly we have to give only 1000 rupees and in 1 year 7000 it was affordable for a norml student overall our hostel was best

Good-moderate faculty but maintenance of every other thing is very much not on time The authority doesn’t seem to be concerned about the students and delays every work and at the last moment you will be running around .

Dream Campus, Not-So-Dream Jobs
Placement Experience :
There are teachers under which u can work and later they can surely help u land a intership, happened with one of my friend. But as of now department dont directly provide u internship. I dont wanna say vague or old numbers about average or highest placement data, so wont comment on it but overall its not that great but there are exceptions, like there are some brilliant minds who lands an enormous off campus placement.(My 2 seniors who r out of india right now) Last year Bharat electronics BHEL came and took 8 seniors for 13lpa package, some banking companies and TCs comes too. My plans after my degree is to get a job in electronic domain while also focusing on my photography and editing Passion Check my work on insta sodaa.edits
My life in B.Borooah College as a science student
Placement Experience :
Placements At B. Borooah College for a BSc Forget it. There's no placement scene like you hear about. No companies come for recruitment drives. The so-called placement cell just puts up notices for government job ads or maybe a local pharmacy needing a helper. I've never seen a single big name visit campus to hire BSc grads. So there's no list of recruiters, no number of offers, and definitely no talk of high packages. Zero students get placed from here in that way. The plan after the degree is everything. For me, it's going for an MSc. For others, it's preparing for government exams, doing B.Ed., or applying to labs and hospitals directly. This college gives you the valid degree, the ticket to sit for other exams or apply further. It doesn't get you a job. It makes you eligible to go find one yourself. Your future is 100% in your own hands after you walk out.

There are 100% internship in Bsc agriculture are also good the average packages 3 to 4 LPA the highest package is 12 LPA percentage of students getting placements are about 70 - 80% the eligibility criteria depends upon the performance of the student on its practical work and its CGPA

The ratio of placement and job is very poor, this is a college of general degree course, so after passing B.Sc., B.Sc. one does not get a job directly, in future one has to do Masters degree, PhD.But data from the last three/four year revealed that students did get jobs in SBI and some other organization, but the percentage was very low.That is why most of the students after completing normal graduation take admission in courses like Masters and BEd, Deled.And my plan in future is to do Masters from IIT or IISER, after that I want to do PhD.

Life as a BTech Student at IIT guwahati
Placement Experience :
there is a CPI criteria of around 6 to sit for placements. The highest packages for bachelors can go up to 1.5cr. Companies in coding include Google, Amazon, Flipkart, Ola, Uber, finance companies like JP Morgan, Goldman Sachs and many more. Highest paying companies are AlphaGrep, Quadeye, JaneStreet but that is very competitive with only people with the best results and from CS getting in. Many people also receive preplacement offers after internships. There are also many companies that visit for product management roles like Ola, Meesho etc. The placement process for Design students is separate. There are also core companies like Texas instruments, that visit.

I choose this course because I am interested in learning coding and I want to seek my future in this line. I am finding some difficulties in understanding the subjects and topics but I believe it is because I am new to this field and new to everything.
