- College is old, infrastructure is very old but very good,
- Faculty in core branches are best Campus life is very nice
Dislikes
- Canteen food is not that much good and variety not available
- Campus is in koni area of bilaspur. And it's 500 meter from main road at night there is fully dark in road
Remarks :
The college situated in Bilaspur City which is one of biggest city in chhattisgarh. College is very old and prestigious. Professor are very knowledgeable and humble. Getting selection here is not that easy you have to give PET exam taken by CGVYAPAM according to rank to exam you will be allotted the college and branch.
Course Curriculum Overview :
Courses here are decided by State technical university CSVTU and exam also taken by the same. Cariculum and exams are morderate. Attendance is mandatory 75%. Professor are knowledgeable and strict. LABs and Computer facilities are available at best
Internships Opportunities :
If you want to do internship you have to get it from outside campus because on campus there is no companies visits for internship Most of students don not choose internship because they don't have knowledge importance of internship
Placement Experience :
Placement is not very good here Very less company cane till 2022 Packages are not very good Core companies are less Placement cell is not highly active Cs/IT placement are also not very good Students find off campus placement
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :
If you are UR/OBC Students then you have to pay 20000 tution fee per year. Sc/St students need not to pay any fee. All students having income certificate below 1 lakh will get scholarship from state government.
Campus Life :
Kaushalam tech and culture fest is organized in month of March every year Library available where you will get all courses books easily All sports facilities available every sports compitition is also organized you will get chance to participate in these sorts tournament There are many clubs like coder club and nature's club, NSS , sports club and cultural club
Hostel Facilities :
I haven't opted hostel But there are 5 hostel 3 boys and 2 girls There is 1 saprate hostel for 1st year students Every hostel there is mess available Hostel and mess fee are very affordable Some hostels are new and very nice and some are very old Outside campus rooms and PG also available with mess or yugin service easily

Course Curriculum Overview :
I choose Mechanical Engineering as my course here, as i am interested in Automotive, and also this institute is near my home town. There are permanent faculty members present in institute. All lectures are done in proper classrooms and study materials are also provides digitally. They are very easy to approach and helpful in nature, they help us solving doubts and gives us tips in study.

There is not much placement opportunities for the students of biotechnology compared to the students of b.tech. basically the placement is based on a merit list so not All students are benefited with this kind of placements only the students who wear like gold medalist where awarded this placement. For the the students in the BTech where awarded with better job opportunities and placement.

According to Nirf reports 2023 , 13 ug(3, yr), 123 uh(4yr),1ug (5 yr) ,115pg (2yrs) and 38pg(3yr) students are placed and median package offered is INR 4 lpa, inr 3 lpa, int 4 lpa, inr 3 lpa and inr 2.45 lpa .

Placement Experience :
Placenta for whole college is going on good not ver best coz of recession but yeah core branches placements are nice specially metallurgy and chemical branch . our branch average package previous year is 8.7 lac and for this year it is 8.3 lack almost all are placed. For cse and IT branch placement is not going well as I said before due to recession . over all.avg pckg of nit raipur is 9.5 lac gor all branch.

If you are from top branches like CSE, IT then you'll numbers of internship oppurtinities but for lower branches the intership oppurtinities are less. Mostly all the student get placed through campus placement but someone left the can try offcampus oppurtinities.

Rungta collage have a good numbers of companies in there list , and most of them visited every year for placements , almost 90% + students got placed every year and the average salary offered is 4 LPA.

Placement Experience :
From the 5th semester students become eligible for internship and from starting of 4th year companies start on campus recruitment process . Top companies visited Nit Raipur for placements are Google, Adobe, Microsoft, Samsung, Arcisium, Phonepe etc. Highest package offered was 55 lacs per annum. and for IT branch Average package was 18.11 lacs per annum.
