Remarks :
I have JEE Advanced 2023 and got a 6.2k rank. I chose IIT Delhi textile technology as the college is near my home and the course has very less workload. After getting my JEE Advanced results, I applied for JoSAA counselling where I selected IIT Delhi and got it. The other formalities of registration were completed online and on-campus as well.
Course Curriculum Overview :
I chose IIT Delhi B.tech in textile technology as this was one of the best options available to me at my JEE Advanced rank, college is near my home and the coursework of the branch is much lighter than other departments. Faculty are experienced in research domain of their fields, most of them having Masters and PhDs from IITs or foreign universities themselves. They teach nicely from carefully curated material, and their vast knowledge only supplement their teaching further. Exams are held in the middle of the semester and in the end of the semester, a week long marathons of exams. Also, depending on course policy, there are several quizzes in between too whose frequencies and weightage are completely decided by the professor taking the course
Internships Opportunities :
I haven't opted for any internship yet as I am still in my 4th semester. In 5th semester, students have the chance to apply for internships in companies that visit the campus. The internship and placement drive is conducted by OCS of IIT Delhi.
Placement Experience :
Placements are generally amazing. Top students from each department get placed in high paying roles. For top students of CSE, mnc and electrical branch, they get jobs in HFT firms, FAANG companies, or top paying roles in other product based companies. Non circuital department students can also get into tech roles like SWE, data scientist, mostly hired by big banks like JP Morgan, Goldmann Sachs etc. and Faang companies as well, and also get roles in consulting companies like BCG, McKinsey, Bain and Co. and KPMG. Highest package was 2 crore per annum plus and lowest was around 8 LPA. Around 70% final year students get placed each year. I personally want to pursue MBA after getting my degree completed
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :
Fees are paid before the beginning of a new semester. Tuition fees alone costs 114350, and if availing hostel, seat rent of 5000 and message fees of 32000 rupees must be paid. The above fees are for a general candidate. Students from SC or ST communities pay much lower fees
Campus Life :
Rendezvous is conducted in October during mid semester breaks, BeCON by EDC cell of IIT Delhi is conducted in February, so is Kaizen by NSS IIT Delhi, and Tryst, the annual tech fest is conducted in Match during mid semester breaks. Books of almost all categories are available in our very large library and access to every research paper on the planet is also there. Classrooms are huge with capacity of 100s of students and equipped with state of the art speakers and video projectors. Fully aur conditioned too. Sports and extra curricular activities are highly encouraged and are the 2nd part of a students life here. The two most important inter hostel competitions are GC for sports and BRCA competition involving all types of cultural activities like dance, music, debating, literature etc. The Debating Club, literature club, music club, dance club, design club, development club are all run by students
Hostel Facilities :
I am from Aravali hostel, one of the oldest hostels of the institute. Infrastructure is kind of outdated but it is holding up just fine. Hostel mess food has a variety of different options each day and serves decent quality food. During admission process, students can only opt for whether they want to live in a hostel or not. If yes, students would be randomly assigned a hostel.

The placement is good for students of commerce background and even many arts students get placement. But for science students, there are rarely any science background companies hiring as even as an intern. Many science students go for higher studies. So, Rarely science students get placement and if placed then not in company of science background.

I chose my course because I was interested in learning a business environment and management processes. Faculties are very well experienced and professional , and teaching methods are good. Term exams are held every 6 months and difficulty level is not very high .
Doing masters in political science from Daulat Ram college

Drc has a decent placement for bachelors students and cell is very active, invites companies like Amazon, Deloitte, ipac , accenture, etc and offers around 6-20 lac. But drc doesn't provide placements for master's students, though there are many external opportunities to grab in . Masters student do apply for internships in political and policy roles and even get placed in political consultancies and awarded with fellowships.

The placement opportunities are genuine, infact there is a dedicated placement cell in the college, companies like EY, Deloitte, KPMG, PwC too participate in our placement fairs and students have actually got good placements!

du sol provides placement in news 18, aaj tak and job opportunities as according to the course of student pursuing. just visit to du sol north campus head quarter ask for the facility they will provide . bad thing is they dont provide on regular basis.

The placement cell is quite active. There are always placement and internship fairs every year and even other college students can join them. The placement recruiters are from top companies like Deloitte, KPMG, EY, etc. Although, not every one gets in these companies but then, there are other companies as well like Finshots, Voice Your Vichaar, etc. The average package is 3LPA and highest package is 8LPA.
