- The long hallways have my heart. They run trough the 2 floors lf the main building and thay stay vool in hot weathers as they are shaded by the canopy.
- The amphitheatre is a very thoughtful and and very beautiful feature of my college.its partiality covered with trees and provides for good spot to hangout with your group during breaks
- The NCC ground provides for and unlimited soace to hold any type of fest and event .
Dislikes
- The furniture is a bit out of shape it needs a lot of repairs
- The party politics and the chaos created by party members at any event or fest in the college is unbearable
Remarks :
I was recommended by my cousin sister that its a considerably good college, cause i wasn't able to secure admission in north and south campus colleges hence she told me that in the off campus category, Dyal singh college is a good option. The admission process was centralized for Delhi University colleges in 2022. The admission were based on the class 12th board results. There was no CUET -UG test like now. The cut-off for B.A programme (History +pol )science in dyal singh college was 96.4 % and as I mentioned that I am from ST category the cut-off for me was 92%.
Course Curriculum Overview :
My course was B.A programme (History+political science) I Had to study 4 subjects per semester out of which 2 subjects were history and politics , these 2 were fixed throughout the whole course.. and the other 2 subjects kelt on changing per semester, these included Hindi , english , geography, law, environmental studies, etc The course was not too difficult thought the content is very lengthy.... The exam are held once per semester and a semester lasts for 4 to 4 and a half months. There were regular class test and assignment submission. And other activities which requires interaction with your batchmates. Like group projects, surveys etc.
Internships Opportunities :
No.. I did not do any internships in my college. My course which was B.A programme (History+ political science ) did not have any scope for an internship. Some peivate internships were still available though they were out of the domail of our course subject
Placement Experience :
Its a government college hence the placement sector is quite weak. And my course is also not eligible for any placements. My batchmates didn't get any placement as they had the same course as me but the students of botany and chemistry did get some placements
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :
The tuition fees for the first year was 12049-/ rupees only per year and then in the consecutive two years it was per year 10,200 rupees. The examination fees was around 1300 rupees per semester which is quite affordable for anyone studying in delhi.
Campus Life :
There are a lot of clubs in Dyal singh college. I was in Rotaract club, we used to do social services thrice per month. And other frequent social awareness drives within the college itself.. i was also part of the photography club XPOSURE you guys can vheck out my Photography page on Instagram @aperture_rp. The only thing i hated about the college was excessive political chaos between parties during elections and fests . This was the one and only problem of dyal singh college.
Hostel Facilities :
There is no hostel available on Dyal sing college yet , though its the biggest off campus college in delhi university i hope soom a hostel may be constructed for the college. The student can still take admission in the university hostels.

The placement is good for students of commerce background and even many arts students get placement. But for science students, there are rarely any science background companies hiring as even as an intern. Many science students go for higher studies. So, Rarely science students get placement and if placed then not in company of science background.

I chose my course because I was interested in learning a business environment and management processes. Faculties are very well experienced and professional , and teaching methods are good. Term exams are held every 6 months and difficulty level is not very high .
Doing masters in political science from Daulat Ram college
Placement Experience :
Drc has a decent placement for bachelors students and cell is very active, invites companies like Amazon, Deloitte, ipac , accenture, etc and offers around 6-20 lac. But drc doesn't provide placements for master's students, though there are many external opportunities to grab in . Masters student do apply for internships in political and policy roles and even get placed in political consultancies and awarded with fellowships.

The placement opportunities are genuine, infact there is a dedicated placement cell in the college, companies like EY, Deloitte, KPMG, PwC too participate in our placement fairs and students have actually got good placements!

du sol provides placement in news 18, aaj tak and job opportunities as according to the course of student pursuing. just visit to du sol north campus head quarter ask for the facility they will provide . bad thing is they dont provide on regular basis.

The placement cell is quite active. There are always placement and internship fairs every year and even other college students can join them. The placement recruiters are from top companies like Deloitte, KPMG, EY, etc. Although, not every one gets in these companies but then, there are other companies as well like Finshots, Voice Your Vichaar, etc. The average package is 3LPA and highest package is 8LPA.
