Likes
- The things I like here is the spacious campus , the people, the facilities like gym and other sports facilities.
- The campus life is good with spacious area to walk and the grounds are big for the students to play different sports and the social life with events are also good.
Dislikes
- Things I dislike is the management system like many times the faculty boasts a lot and don't meet the expectations of the students, the faculty is not so special either.
- Many a times students from different states start to fight due to some issue or the other which is not good.
Remarks :
The availablity of IBM classes for btech CSE students, big campus and enough facilities like gym, sports facilities etc. The campus is big and green with space of 100 acres. The people her come from 22 states from India which brings a lot of diversity...
Course Curriculum Overview :
Faculty is mainly from punjab and its decent faculty , the teaching methods are good enough with labs available. About course curriculum there are 7 subjects for btech CSE first year students and two mid semester test occur between each semester exam.
Internships Opportunities :
no internships yet but the college provides exposure... Bootcamps are held, many interactive sessions are held. Many a times many great influencers are called which give different lectures on career building etc.
Placement Experience :
The plan of the University for btech students is to complete the course in 2.5 years and provide students with 1.5 years of industry exposure and internships facilities. Btech students are trained by IBM which may recruit them as well. The University guarantees 100% placement rate though not many placement data is available as it is established a few years back. They also promise to ensure better placement than IIT ropar.
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :
Pay after placement available for btech CSE core students in which 50% fees can be paid after placement... For btech CSE IBM students the fees per year is 1.6 lacs and that for hostel if double sharing without attached bathroom is 80k per year.
Campus Life :
Social life is really good , people interact a lot and there are people from all over india like from many states , Events take place like lohri , dandiya south events and and many others Club availability is there with clubs like coding environment music etc. Infrastructure is ok ok not very good, the buildings are old and need to be worked upon.
Hostel Facilities :
The boys hostel is really fun , there are mess provided for south students as well , the rooms are of average size and you can get the rooms by talking to the warden The food quality is average. But food is provided fours times with breakfast in the evening as well which is good Good food is provided on Saturday or Sunday like paneer chicken egg curry etc. Infrastructure of boys hostel is good enough

if you are above 6.0 cgpa and no reappears and backlogs your are eligible for 70 % of companies. recently TCS,AMAZON,COGNIZANT also came for placement highest is 51LPA,6LPA avg. 80% of each batch is placed.
Honest Review of LPU B.TECH CSE:QUALIFIED FACULTY BUT RIGID PLACEMENT RULES
Placement Experience :
To apply for placements in LPU you need to have 6+cgpa mostly. there no company as i know that went without recruiting any student. the highest was on campus was 51.03lakhs Microsoft and average was 5-6 lakhs. the students around 85 %will be placed .my plan was to do a decent job in any MNC.
Life at cgc landran.
Placement Experience :
Placement at CGC landran is decent around 70 to 80% student got placed based on your skills. The eligibility criteria usually includes minimum 60% marks with no active backlogs. Top recruiter companies includes TCS, Wipro, Infosys and Capgemini. The average package is around 3-4 lpa while highest package can go up to 10 to 12 lpa. Multiple offers are made every year across different domain.

Internships Opportunities :
I haven't done any intenship yet but Yes, internships are available at Chandigarh Group of Colleges, Mohali. Companies include TCS, Infosys, startups. Roles: Web Dev, QA, Data Analyst. Stipend ?5k–15k. Tasks include coding, testing, and project work.

Placement Experience :
The eligibility for placement is no backlog or reappear and CGPA IS above is 6 and fresher they get placement for 6thsem based on the skills and knowledge of the student and they provide a salary of 3 to 12 lakhs per/ year and recently SPICEJET company give around 8 lakhs CTC for 5 to 8 students and my plans after competing the degree is to do higher education in design modeling.

Placement Experience :
As the course is designed for pharmaceutical industry so the companies like mankind, sunpharma, macloid, overseas etc. Are top recruiters. The average package is 3-3.5 lakh per annum and highest goes upto 4lpa. As after masters most of the students goes for higher studies and teaching so the placement rate is low.

Overall Placement rate is about 60 to 70 percent for every branches . Recruiters provided descent opportunites to the students. Above 7 CGPA students get eligible. Some recruiter are Infosys, TCS, wipro, Siemens etc

College doesn't keep any eligibility criteria for placement it depends on the company which came for recruitment and yea if you had scored around 8+ cgpa you are eligible for every company Regularly company which come for recruiting students are infosys,tcs ,jsw , cognizant, Capgemini,L&T,tata steel etc Average package is 4LPA and highest package is around 55 LPA Around 75-80 percent students get placed in the college Some of the branches like instrumentation and control engineering and mechanical engineering have around 98-100% placement in the previous year

Since the college comes under an institution it opens the gate for various company and even those which just require a graduation degree instead of a specific field. Cadila Lupin etc visits every year. Good 60 to 70 students gets placed.

The placement are good but there are a lot of criterias for the placement and the college faculties force us to take the placement in the development roles to show that the college has 100% placement.There are less companies for the consultancy or data based jobs. The college doesn't provide any on campus intership. They provide intership in the college Startups and they pay very very less and they exploit the interns as lot. I got only 500 rupees for doing 1 month internship and working 6 hours a week.
