Overall my college is good
Likes
- Security of our college is good, our in time of hostel is 8pm
- The campus is area is quite a site. There is a lot of greenery
Dislikes
- Mess food is not good, it is just eatable.
- Rooms are very small. It is really difficult to be with your roommate in a room.
Remarks :
It has good academics and affordable fee structure. I have given an interview for admission which was taken by the dean of university school of engineering and technology dr. Dhami sir. He is the support system of all the students in btech course.
Course Curriculum Overview :
Curriculum is very nice, it is made by IBM company. While making the curriculum it was ensured that students will learn skills through it and not waste their time. Academics and curriculum is pretty good.
Internships Opportunities :
As I have only completed my 1st semester I have not opted any internship though we have got an opportunity of getting an internship in Wipro company but I missed it. Our seniors are regularly doing internships and participating in competitions.
Placement Experience :
Our course is of 2.5 years and after that there will be six months of working on love projects and 1 year of on job deployment. When we will get our degree, we will already have an experience of one year which will make the job easier
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :
So, my per semester tution fees is basically 65k and the hostel fees is 35k which makes total semester fees 1lkh rupees. Our course is residential which means it it important to stay in hostela only. We are also given the facility of washing machine with extra fees.
Campus Life :
Infrastructure is not very good. It is OK. Clubs are also not very active and there is no fests celebration. Studies are focused more which is good and bad at the same time. Culture fests are celebrated less than technical fests.
Hostel Facilities :
Mess is not good, boys hostel rooms are spacious enough but rooms of girl's hostel are small. Food is not good it is just eatable but eventually we became habitual of it. There are canteens in campus area also.

Placement Experience :
To apply for placements in LPU you need to have 6+cgpa mostly. there no company as i know that went without recruiting any student. the highest was on campus was 51.03lakhs Microsoft and average was 5-6 lakhs. the students around 85 %will be placed .my plan was to do a decent job in any MNC.
Life at cgc landran.
Placement Experience :
Placement at CGC landran is decent around 70 to 80% student got placed based on your skills. The eligibility criteria usually includes minimum 60% marks with no active backlogs. Top recruiter companies includes TCS, Wipro, Infosys and Capgemini. The average package is around 3-4 lpa while highest package can go up to 10 to 12 lpa. Multiple offers are made every year across different domain.

I haven't done any intenship yet but Yes, internships are available at Chandigarh Group of Colleges, Mohali. Companies include TCS, Infosys, startups. Roles: Web Dev, QA, Data Analyst. Stipend ?5k–15k. Tasks include coding, testing, and project work.

Placement Experience :
The eligibility for placement is no backlog or reappear and CGPA IS above is 6 and fresher they get placement for 6thsem based on the skills and knowledge of the student and they provide a salary of 3 to 12 lakhs per/ year and recently SPICEJET company give around 8 lakhs CTC for 5 to 8 students and my plans after competing the degree is to do higher education in design modeling.

Placement Experience :
As the course is designed for pharmaceutical industry so the companies like mankind, sunpharma, macloid, overseas etc. Are top recruiters. The average package is 3-3.5 lakh per annum and highest goes upto 4lpa. As after masters most of the students goes for higher studies and teaching so the placement rate is low.

College doesn't keep any eligibility criteria for placement it depends on the company which came for recruitment and yea if you had scored around 8+ cgpa you are eligible for every company Regularly company which come for recruiting students are infosys,tcs ,jsw , cognizant, Capgemini,L&T,tata steel etc Average package is 4LPA and highest package is around 55 LPA Around 75-80 percent students get placed in the college Some of the branches like instrumentation and control engineering and mechanical engineering have around 98-100% placement in the previous year

Since the college comes under an institution it opens the gate for various company and even those which just require a graduation degree instead of a specific field. Cadila Lupin etc visits every year. Good 60 to 70 students gets placed.

The placement are good but there are a lot of criterias for the placement and the college faculties force us to take the placement in the development roles to show that the college has 100% placement.There are less companies for the consultancy or data based jobs. The college doesn't provide any on campus intership. They provide intership in the college Startups and they pay very very less and they exploit the interns as lot. I got only 500 rupees for doing 1 month internship and working 6 hours a week.
