To get admission in this college, I gave CUET in which I scored 677/800 and i got this college in first round . No, there is not any interview or group discussion you just have to crack CUET. I listened that it is one of the best college for commerce courses that's why I choose this college . Overall it is an average college.
I wanted an overview of everything in commerce so I choose this course. After that , when I will be sure what I like , I will pursue pg in that. Faculty is good . All the facilities are phd holders. Every 6 month there is exam i.e. Semester exam and the difficulty of the exam is easy to moderate. And every week there is a tutorial class in which you can ask your doubt to the professors.
I am in first year so I have not opted for any internship till now . But talent fair (organised every year in which our placement cell invites many companies in the campus to provide jobs and internships to the students) is going on in which many studenta got the internship and the average stipend was around 5-6k per month.
Placement is average , around 30-40% of students get placed every year and the average salary is 4-5 lakh per annum. In college every year a event called talent fair is organised in which students get placement and internship. Our society's president recently got placement with a package of 10 lakh per annum.
The fee for bcom is 15275 per year (for general category for other category it is even less), earlier it was even less but due to fee hike in delhi university the fee increased. Yes , there is scholarship in our college even some of my classmates got the scholarship. Scholarship amount vary from 25 to 75% of the total fees.
The infrastructure is above average. There is no ground cause the construction is going on. There is around 30 to 40 societies in our college like commerce association, enactus , malhar , finance and investment cell etc.
There is no hostel in the college. College mess is average. Quality of the food is good as recently on the complaint of a student our principal fined the canteen for bad quality of food. There is a lot of pg and flats around the college but it is little expensive.
Placement at PGDAV college are average students who have good communication skills internships and extra certification usually gets better opportunities the placement cell is active and organise placement drives , workshops , resume building session and career building guidance student should not have any active backlog
PLACEMENT FOR BBA ARE AVERAGE WITH COMPANIES OFFERING ROLE IN SALES, MAREKTING, HR AND OPERATION. AVERAGE PACKAGE IS AROUND 3 TO 4 LAKH PER YEAR MANY STUDENTS ALSO PURSUE HIGHER STUDIES LIKE MBA TO IMPROVE THEIR CARRER OPPORTUNITIES.
The placement is good for students of commerce background and even many arts students get placement. But for science students, there are rarely any science background companies hiring as even as an intern. Many science students go for higher studies. So, Rarely science students get placement and if placed then not in company of science background.
I am as of in starting of 3rd year. The internship options are quiet really well. They give you many companies to apply in. .
I chose my course because I was interested in learning a business environment and management processes. Faculties are very well experienced and professional , and teaching methods are good. Term exams are held every 6 months and difficulty level is not very high .
Drc has a decent placement for bachelors students and cell is very active, invites companies like Amazon, Deloitte, ipac , accenture, etc and offers around 6-20 lac. But drc doesn't provide placements for master's students, though there are many external opportunities to grab in . Masters student do apply for internships in political and policy roles and even get placed in political consultancies and awarded with fellowships.
The placement opportunities are genuine, infact there is a dedicated placement cell in the college, companies like EY, Deloitte, KPMG, PwC too participate in our placement fairs and students have actually got good placements!
du sol provides placement in news 18, aaj tak and job opportunities as according to the course of student pursuing. just visit to du sol north campus head quarter ask for the facility they will provide . bad thing is they dont provide on regular basis.
The placement cell is quite active. There are always placement and internship fairs every year and even other college students can join them. The placement recruiters are from top companies like Deloitte, KPMG, EY, etc. Although, not every one gets in these companies but then, there are other companies as well like Finshots, Voice Your Vichaar, etc. The average package is 3LPA and highest package is 8LPA.
talking about placement opportunities many companies come to campus including google microsoft to core companies like texas instruments and bajaj giving a decent job opportunity. each one with a cgpa of more than 7 easily grasp job with pay of more than 12 lpa and people with decent cgpa of more than 8 grasp top jobs in the campus
