The major factor was that it's close to my house, it's like 20 mins away and it's very convenient to travel. And i gave cuet for this college and there were 3 allocation rounds and i got this college in 2nd round.
I choose this college as it's nirf ranking was very high, it was 23-24 when I joined this college but I deeply regret choosing this college as the faculty (especially of my department) they force students to choose the extra subjects according to their choice as they want to fill their seats. The teachers are okay at teaching and the tests are timely too. The teaching method is also nice and the difficulty level is moderate to high.
I have not because as I said there are no internships available for students below 7 cgpa so we have to find internship on our own. I had to find internship from linkdin and I was a business analyst intern.
There are placement options but again teachers demotivate us a lot and do not let students below 7 cgpa sit in internship fair. My plans after degree are that I'll give iit-jam and continue my masters in statistics or mathematical statistics.
In my first year I had to pay 22,500 and in second year it was 24500 and all this is yearly fee. we have to pay examination fee which depends on subjects you choose, for me it was 1590 and this is every semester. And i did not have any scholarship so no idea for that but they do ig 100% fee concession to some students.
So coming to the main point why I loathe this college THE CAMPUS! it's horrible nothing is sanitary it's very unhygienic. There are used sanitary napkins everywhere and God it's awful. The washrooms has mushrooms growing in them and the classes have ac but THEY NEVER WORK. We all know how hot it is in delhi during may june and I have not seen their ac work ONCE. So now coming to fests there are 2 fests one is during diwali time and one is in march. Books are available in library and library is of 3 floors. And there are sports activities too and there is one competition called SPARDHA it is basically intra college sports competition and many students participate in that. Now the societies, they pretty much have all the societies that other colleges have. But again many department including mine doesn't consider attendance log of society so there's always attendance problem and yes many department again including mine doesn't allow us to join any society because of the distraction
I unfortunately can't answer that as I have not opted for any hostel. But my friends do say that the food in mess is good and they don't really have any problem with the food and the hostel warden is also nice.

IGNOU offers limited direct campus placement opportunities, but the degree is widely recognized and helps improve employability. Students mainly secure jobs through off-campus applications, competitive exams, or by upgrading their skills. The flexible learning system allows learners to work, prepare for higher studies, or pursue professional certifications alongside their course. IGNOU also conducts periodic placement drives through its Campus Placement Cell.
The internship opportunities are mainly available for the commerce departments and many companies also come to offer internships here. For humanities departments to internships comes mainly from the government ministries such as ministry of culture and home ministry.
The placement cell is active. Companies like Agile Capital Services, Chegg, and Wipro visit. Eligibility requires 60%+ marks. Highest CTC offered is around 8 LPA and Average package is 4.5 LPA. Around 40-50% students get placed, while science graduates prefer higher studies (M.Sc / B.Ed). My plan is pursuing higher education and managing my student e-portfolio platform.
Placement at PGDAV college are average students who have good communication skills internships and extra certification usually gets better opportunities the placement cell is active and organise placement drives , workshops , resume building session and career building guidance student should not have any active backlog
PLACEMENT FOR BBA ARE AVERAGE WITH COMPANIES OFFERING ROLE IN SALES, MAREKTING, HR AND OPERATION. AVERAGE PACKAGE IS AROUND 3 TO 4 LAKH PER YEAR MANY STUDENTS ALSO PURSUE HIGHER STUDIES LIKE MBA TO IMPROVE THEIR CARRER OPPORTUNITIES.
The placement is good for students of commerce background and even many arts students get placement. But for science students, there are rarely any science background companies hiring as even as an intern. Many science students go for higher studies. So, Rarely science students get placement and if placed then not in company of science background.
I am as of in starting of 3rd year. The internship options are quiet really well. They give you many companies to apply in. .
I chose my course because I was interested in learning a business environment and management processes. Faculties are very well experienced and professional , and teaching methods are good. Term exams are held every 6 months and difficulty level is not very high .
Drc has a decent placement for bachelors students and cell is very active, invites companies like Amazon, Deloitte, ipac , accenture, etc and offers around 6-20 lac. But drc doesn't provide placements for master's students, though there are many external opportunities to grab in . Masters student do apply for internships in political and policy roles and even get placed in political consultancies and awarded with fellowships.
The placement opportunities are genuine, infact there is a dedicated placement cell in the college, companies like EY, Deloitte, KPMG, PwC too participate in our placement fairs and students have actually got good placements!
