- college organizes various fests that make student vibrant. the campus well-structured and facilities are good (free WI Fi in campus). faculty are interactive in nature.
- clubs and societies serve to diverse interests including tech, music, art and entrepreneurship. The student community is friendly.
Dislikes
- campus size was not too big. mess foods are just acceptable. very hectic routines of classes.
- college is situated in Odisha So there is language gap in outside state students.
Remarks :
the college offers well-structured curriculum that perfectly balanced theoretical and practical application . the syllabus is regularly updated according to the industry demands. the only cons of the college is rigid attendance policies and campus is too small. silicon take students from two ways: - 1. OJEE (50% seats) 2. university level counselling. (50% seats) the main eligibility criteria are 40% in 10+2 examination.
Course Curriculum Overview :
I choose this college because college is known for their academics and well connected by public transport . college is situated in Patia, Bhubaneswar. most of faculty member are highly qualified with many holdings PhDs in their respective fields. they use modern teaching methods, interactive sessions and digital learning tools. there are two exams in each semester. difficulty level is general. easy to score good marks.
Internships Opportunities :
The college has dedicated training and placement cell that helps students to secure internship in reputed companies. students are encouraging to take internships during summer breaks to gain experience. some programs have mandatory internship as part of the curriculum.
Placement Experience :
the placement cell is active bringing top companies for campus recruitment. Major recruiters include (INFOSYS, DXC, COGNIZANT, CAPEGEMINI, WIPRO, FLIPKART AND MANY MORE). offering decent salary packages. The average salary ranges from (500000-580000). with some students securing high packages in reputed companies. almost 84% of students was placed last year.
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :
the tuition fees are reasonable as compared to facilities and education quality offered. the total tuition fees is 840000 (B-tech)/Mess charge -22500 per semester /Hostel fees -20000per semester. scholarship are available for meritorious students. scholarship criteria:- for btech- jee rank scholarship 50000-75000 25000/semester 25000-50000 50000/semester 0-25000 75000/semester the college provides good value for money.
Campus Life :
The college hosts various cultural fests and technical events. making student life vibrant and engaging. many clubs in the college (music, creative, meta, SIPC, Entrepreneurship development cell) the college libray is well stocked of books and research papers. sports facilities in campus are limited.
Hostel Facilities :
hostel food is not tasty but acceptable. mess provides varieties of food the most common complain of students is food is too much oily. registration of mess and hostel is through ERP of college. you can withdraw your registration within the course. in locality of college their some apartment available for students at reasonable price.

After completion of this course go for national health mission recruitment In odisha opsc amo exam conducted many students were passed the exam from our college and got posted. You can go for many pharmacy company 100 percent of students getting placement

There campus placement here are ok startups came here and many big mncs like tcs, flipkart etc. Some department get companies like the MBA but that is an exceptional case. No other department participate in campus drive or placement cell. Students need to apply off campus to get placed.

for placement students need to get atleast 7cgpa. The placement is decent where most students around 85% get placed . Main companies are accenture, tcs, infosys , cognizant etc. Highest package was 9lpa and average was around 4lpa . I plan to work in one of the companies i get placed in.

Placement Experience :
Students are eligible for placements from third year onwards on a condition that the student has good skills and created good projects. Companies are still coming to ITER since July, various companies like Wipro, Xerox, Paytm, Flipkart, DELL, Microsoft, TCS Infosys and various other MNCs and startups come to the campus for placements and also provide pre placement offers. Currently I have no idea about the highest and average packages as per the company and the profiles offered, but I know that the highest package offered in Iter has been 43 lakhs pa and the average package is around 6lacs-8lacs. There are certain criteria set by the college for the students to be eligible to sit in the placement, out of that more than 85% to 90% of eligible students have secured placements. Students also get internships from second year. After I get a degree and if I land a suitable job then it's okay otherwise I will look to get into civil services or defence.

It has average placements. They also provide training for that. You will be eligible from 4th year. They also provide practice schools where the eligibility is 8 cgpa. They also provide training in the 3rd and 4th year. The companies which I know are Infosys Accenture Capgemini Genpact Mindfire solutions Mindtree. Tcs. pwC Deloitte Inovaare Tata Power Cosmovolt Tech Mahindra etc. They mostly provide the packages in the range 3.5-6 lpa ..The average oncampus placement this year was 4.5 lpa and the highest was 14.5 lpa. The 30 lpa shown was off campus. So you can get jobs according to your skills and cgpa . Overally the placement is just average but roi may be better.

Actually as I am a undergraduate I don't exactly know how much is the eligibility criteria for placement but I know that the guest lecturers are given according to number of classes they do in a month My plans after getting a degree is to give jrf net /gate and to further study in reasearch lines.

Eligibility criteria for placements are based on cgpa cut off and no backlogs are allowed. A few companies that came for recruitment are Infosys, Tcs , Accenture , Cognizant , Dell , Deloitte . Profiles offered are mostly of software engineer and average package is around 600000 per annum . My plan after getting degree is to go into software engineering job .

The placement scenario is quite good as most of the students get placed before the completion of course with a decent package. Average package is around 8lpa and the highest package till now is 60+ lpa.

Yes, we do have a placement cell over here and is quite good. Many well-known companies come to recruit their employees, and the companies are quite satisfied over our senior's hard work and smartness. Many companies like Google, Amazon, Flipkart, Delloyd, etc., come to give good placements to the students at the college. I don't know the exact numbers, but the highest package was around 45 lakhs, and the average package was around 5 lakhs per annum. The average percentage of students getting placements is roughly around 70% to 80%. Currently for me, I don't have a solid plan to what to do but you never know some miracle might happen. Just joking, I do have a plan for the near future, but I am little worried about the future that on one before me start that initiative that I have thought about it.
