I got this college from my NCC background and the fact is that this college was on my list among other Delhi university colleges as this college offers a good infrastructure, sports ground, amphitheater and other extracurricular benefits such as societies are very good and experienced.
The faculty of our colleges was good and corporative to students. Regular classes were held regardless of the number of students present in the class. Exams were taken on semester wise curriculum and regular assessments and projects were given to make students aware about the industry trends and new opportunities that are coming in the corporate sector.
Yes , the college offers ample opportunities for internships as there is a dedicated society for the internships provided to students on regular basis.i got enrolled in many internships in very well known companies.
College provides many internships and placement opportunities to students as there is a dedicated society for such things called as the placement cell of dyal singh college which regularly provides information about the internships and placement to students of every year weather 1st or last.
My college was dyal singh college and the annual fees for the course bachelor of commerce was 12500 for the first year and the fees is reduced in the 2nd and the 3rd year as compared to the fee paid for the first year. Students who were enrolled in reservation basis got the same fee structure as everyone however they were allowed to give the scholarship exam for getting some deduction in the fee.
The infrastructure of my colleges is very well built and big , in terms of sports the college ground is very big offering basketball court, volleyball and football ground as well. College have its own amphitheater which offers regular activities and events. The main annual event of the college is called as “priyadarshini” and its one of the best du college fest you can attend.
IGNOU offers limited direct campus placement opportunities, but the degree is widely recognized and helps improve employability. Students mainly secure jobs through off-campus applications, competitive exams, or by upgrading their skills. The flexible learning system allows learners to work, prepare for higher studies, or pursue professional certifications alongside their course. IGNOU also conducts periodic placement drives through its Campus Placement Cell.
The internship opportunities are mainly available for the commerce departments and many companies also come to offer internships here. For humanities departments to internships comes mainly from the government ministries such as ministry of culture and home ministry.
The placement cell is active. Companies like Agile Capital Services, Chegg, and Wipro visit. Eligibility requires 60%+ marks. Highest CTC offered is around 8 LPA and Average package is 4.5 LPA. Around 40-50% students get placed, while science graduates prefer higher studies (M.Sc / B.Ed). My plan is pursuing higher education and managing my student e-portfolio platform.
Placement at PGDAV college are average students who have good communication skills internships and extra certification usually gets better opportunities the placement cell is active and organise placement drives , workshops , resume building session and career building guidance student should not have any active backlog
PLACEMENT FOR BBA ARE AVERAGE WITH COMPANIES OFFERING ROLE IN SALES, MAREKTING, HR AND OPERATION. AVERAGE PACKAGE IS AROUND 3 TO 4 LAKH PER YEAR MANY STUDENTS ALSO PURSUE HIGHER STUDIES LIKE MBA TO IMPROVE THEIR CARRER OPPORTUNITIES.
The placement is good for students of commerce background and even many arts students get placement. But for science students, there are rarely any science background companies hiring as even as an intern. Many science students go for higher studies. So, Rarely science students get placement and if placed then not in company of science background.
I am as of in starting of 3rd year. The internship options are quiet really well. They give you many companies to apply in. .
I chose my course because I was interested in learning a business environment and management processes. Faculties are very well experienced and professional , and teaching methods are good. Term exams are held every 6 months and difficulty level is not very high .
Drc has a decent placement for bachelors students and cell is very active, invites companies like Amazon, Deloitte, ipac , accenture, etc and offers around 6-20 lac. But drc doesn't provide placements for master's students, though there are many external opportunities to grab in . Masters student do apply for internships in political and policy roles and even get placed in political consultancies and awarded with fellowships.
The placement opportunities are genuine, infact there is a dedicated placement cell in the college, companies like EY, Deloitte, KPMG, PwC too participate in our placement fairs and students have actually got good placements!
