Likes
- The weather is so pleasent. There are hills nearby.
- Faculty are so friendly. Auditorium is large and good.
Dislikes
- Fe professors are harsh with their own set of rules.
- Distance between hostels and schools are high. Buses are there but they are crowded.
Remarks :
The only criteria is jee advanced rank . The cutoff that was in previous year were a reference. Rest of that we didn't have any interviews or any group discussions. The campus weather is good. But people inside except students and professors have a habit of gutka which is very annoying.
Course Curriculum Overview :
I would have gone for IIT Hyderabad electrical engineering. But I wanted computer science. So in my rank this was the best college i had. So I opted for this curriculum. Exam are twice every sem. A mid and a end sem. Similarly lab exams are also twice a semester. The teaching is very good. Personal doubts are clarified. exams are not much difficult.
Internships Opportunities :
No I didn't opted for internship. I don't really know about companies. But I heard that internships start by 2nd year. And that are students interest. It is added in the resume and helps in better job or placement.
Placement Experience :
Placements are quite good. Last year google and microsoft visited here. Google took 3 students. D many other companies like wipro and federal also visited and offered internships. 96% of CSE students have been placed. And in total 89% ate placed.
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :
Fee is 100000 tution fee, 19000 institute fee and 18000 mess fee. If annual income is between 100000 to 300000 then institute fee is 33333. If it is 100000 or below the no tution fee only institute and hostel. This is fee remission. Other kinds of scolarships are also present but avaining them will cancel this.
Campus Life :
I am part of dance club. Each club is unique and they have their own inductions. Central library is free for use. Extracurricular activities like NSS NCC NSO are there and they are must as they are also included in evaluating grades. NSO refers to the sports. In which a students has to select a sport and train in it.
Hostel Facilities :
Hostels are luxurious. Single room occupancy. A chair, table,cot and cupboard is provided. Each room has a window and a balcony. View is awesome from hostels. There are 6 hostels (3 for boys and 2 for girls and 1 for married couples.). Food is decent but we he get bored of the regular menu.

After completion of this course go for national health mission recruitment In odisha opsc amo exam conducted many students were passed the exam from our college and got posted. You can go for many pharmacy company 100 percent of students getting placement

There campus placement here are ok startups came here and many big mncs like tcs, flipkart etc. Some department get companies like the MBA but that is an exceptional case. No other department participate in campus drive or placement cell. Students need to apply off campus to get placed.

for placement students need to get atleast 7cgpa. The placement is decent where most students around 85% get placed . Main companies are accenture, tcs, infosys , cognizant etc. Highest package was 9lpa and average was around 4lpa . I plan to work in one of the companies i get placed in.

Placement Experience :
Students are eligible for placements from third year onwards on a condition that the student has good skills and created good projects. Companies are still coming to ITER since July, various companies like Wipro, Xerox, Paytm, Flipkart, DELL, Microsoft, TCS Infosys and various other MNCs and startups come to the campus for placements and also provide pre placement offers. Currently I have no idea about the highest and average packages as per the company and the profiles offered, but I know that the highest package offered in Iter has been 43 lakhs pa and the average package is around 6lacs-8lacs. There are certain criteria set by the college for the students to be eligible to sit in the placement, out of that more than 85% to 90% of eligible students have secured placements. Students also get internships from second year. After I get a degree and if I land a suitable job then it's okay otherwise I will look to get into civil services or defence.

It has average placements. They also provide training for that. You will be eligible from 4th year. They also provide practice schools where the eligibility is 8 cgpa. They also provide training in the 3rd and 4th year. The companies which I know are Infosys Accenture Capgemini Genpact Mindfire solutions Mindtree. Tcs. pwC Deloitte Inovaare Tata Power Cosmovolt Tech Mahindra etc. They mostly provide the packages in the range 3.5-6 lpa ..The average oncampus placement this year was 4.5 lpa and the highest was 14.5 lpa. The 30 lpa shown was off campus. So you can get jobs according to your skills and cgpa . Overally the placement is just average but roi may be better.

Actually as I am a undergraduate I don't exactly know how much is the eligibility criteria for placement but I know that the guest lecturers are given according to number of classes they do in a month My plans after getting a degree is to give jrf net /gate and to further study in reasearch lines.

Eligibility criteria for placements are based on cgpa cut off and no backlogs are allowed. A few companies that came for recruitment are Infosys, Tcs , Accenture , Cognizant , Dell , Deloitte . Profiles offered are mostly of software engineer and average package is around 600000 per annum . My plan after getting degree is to go into software engineering job .

The placement scenario is quite good as most of the students get placed before the completion of course with a decent package. Average package is around 8lpa and the highest package till now is 60+ lpa.

Course Curriculum is well structured ,in first year, evry branch subjects are mostly common and from second year onwards they taught branch specific subjects. Faculties are highly educated and they are also clear their engineering from best colleges

Yes, we do have a placement cell over here and is quite good. Many well-known companies come to recruit their employees, and the companies are quite satisfied over our senior's hard work and smartness. Many companies like Google, Amazon, Flipkart, Delloyd, etc., come to give good placements to the students at the college. I don't know the exact numbers, but the highest package was around 45 lakhs, and the average package was around 5 lakhs per annum. The average percentage of students getting placements is roughly around 70% to 80%. Currently for me, I don't have a solid plan to what to do but you never know some miracle might happen. Just joking, I do have a plan for the near future, but I am little worried about the future that on one before me start that initiative that I have thought about it.
