Remarks :
COEP is the oldest college in india and one of the best college in Maharashtra so admission to this college was only through CET exam but from last two years college accepted admission through both CET and JEE percentiles results. This college is open for all students through the this country. As such there is no any group discussion or interview process to admit in this college instead we just need to crack the entrance exam with 99+ percentile if you are from general category and if you are from casts still you have to crack 98+ percentile in CET and JEE exams .After cracking this exams we have to face the cap rounds through online and if we get opportunity to join then we have to go college and take admission. It is just a easy process only that we have to keep all documents and results with us at the time of admission . Once we pay fees and submit documents then the faculty and authorities gives us college admission letter to confirm our seat in college.
Course Curriculum Overview :
Coep has good curriculum if we compare with other colleges. As we know that IIT having the best curriculum of engineering so if we scale on this line then we have 3.8/5 rated curriculum. Faculty are good and interactive with students . They help during our projects and academic doubts. Only one bad thing is that most of teachers are unable to complete their syllabus till the semester ends so we need to prepare by our own. There are two types of exams in a semester, one is mid semester exam of 30 marks and second is end semester exam of 60 marks and remaining 10 marks are on the internal basis pattern.
Internships Opportunities :
Internship opportunity starting from third year onwards . Most of student got internships from top companies with good stipends and from those most of students got PPO offer after successfully completion of internship. Highest stipend is given by DeShaw company of 1.5 lakhs and second highest is given by Arcesium company of 1.25 lakhs . Most of students got internships from software background only.
Placement Experience :
Coep has one of the best alumni network in whole world . If we are talking about placement then college has best placement statistics . There are 95% students get place every year . Highest package is around 52 lakhs given by DeShaw and average package is around 11.5 lakhs so it is good compares to other colleges . I got placement through college in NPCI company with 16.2 LPA and most of students from my batch having plans of further higher studies .
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :
Coep was govt aided institution so we had fees like, in FY-90600 , in SY-84250 and it remained same till last year of my college . But now onwards it changes to coep technological university so fees also changed . Now for general students fees are about 1.3 lakhs and for other cast students fees are less than general students. We don’t need to pay any other fees throughout the year when we paid this whole fee . If we want to opts for hostel then we need to pay other hostel fee and it is around 45 thousand and may it vary in coming years . Whatever admission fees, developments fees, and other fees are totally included under the whole fee that i have mentioned above. We have opportunity to apply for scholarships like Mahadbt and any other private scholarships which includes like Siemens, Udaan, etc . Also college provides extra scholarships for girls quota and there are many private scholarships for girls only. We got all information of upcoming scholarships through our college mail
Campus Life :
Coep gives us best experience of campus life . Coep campus have one big library, two auditorium and there are many seminar halls. If we want to enjoy engineering life then we need of fun, joy and spirits so there is sports festival called zest , technical fest as Mindspark and cultural fest as Impression in a year . There are 50+ clubs in college where we can show our skills and grow together. This is how our coep has surrounded by art and joyness.

It aims at providing placement to students in reputed companies with handsome packages around 80% placement was done in our batch. All the students got chance to prove themselves in campus placements. Companies like Amazon, TCS, IBM, Make my trip, Amazon, flipkart, Infosys, HDFC, ICICI etc. visit the campus offers an average package ranges 3 - 4.5 LPA going on to Highest was 28 - 45 LPA Companies conduct interview sessions, GD, test for selection of students.
The Time I Had Spent in my College

Placement was Good as there is a placement cell in the college that looks on managing placement for students by inviting Companies from different sectors Companies like Amazon Deloitte, Accenture, Reliance, HCL, Hyundai, HDFC bank, YES Bank, Axis bank etc. These companies make a number of offers to students offers an average package ranges 3 LPA and highest was 28 - 32 LPA. Companies conduct interview sessions, practical test, GD for selection of students and students needs to qualify all rounds to get selected also Internship opportunities was provided by college to give students practical experience and to give knowledge. Internship was also provided by college to give students practical experience and knowledge about current changing environment.

i chose computer engineering because i was interested in the technical field and wanted to build my career in engineering. the faculty were qualified and helpful, and their teaching was a mix of thoery ,ppts and practical. term exams were conducted on time and the difficulty was moderate

Placement opportunities are not so widely discussed by our faculty. My plan after the program is to appear for ugc net exam and to become an assistant professor. The minimum salary for assistance professor post is approx 35000.

The placements & job opportunities in the campus placements is good in our college like honestly it is good and also it is reason for students to take admission because there are many company coming to college. The average package is around i will say is 4.5lpa of all branches and here ENTC and MECHANICAL branch have more than 96% placement rate The highest package is of 22lpa which was from CS. The ground reality the percentage of students placed from this college is around 70% like the core branches students have higher placement rates and technincal branches placement rate is of around 70%-80% the core branches students also gets placed in tech. The main recruiters are TCS,ESDS,WIPRO,TECH MAHINDRA,INFOSYS,L&T and more. NVIDIA was also there but last year they banned the college because some students cheated in online interview.

I haven't reached my placement stage yet but from what I have seen the college doesn't wait until the final year to start preparing students. We have coding sessions, skills building workshops and career guidance from the beginning. Seniors also share their experiences which gives us a better idea of what to expect. I feel the college is helping us build the right foundation for internships and placements. At the same time, I think getting a good job also depends on how much effort we put into improving our own skills. So far I feel I am on the right track
Reality of niat

no placement data is present now but many of students are working on their own projects and few are cracked the internships and now currently serving their period on the companies and it's really great opportunities.

The number of companies coming for campus placements go down with each passing year. The companies that do come (TresVista mostly) are quite poor in terms of work ethic and payout methods. This year, around 40-45 students from the graduating batch got campus placement out of the 110-120 that applied.

Psychology as a field is highly recognized and growing sector after the lockdown,people are more focused on mental health,thus bhavans was the best option as they have Psychology department set for almost 20years which makes them more experienced. The teaching method of Dr.kranti Gawali the hod is excellent.
