My experience at vnit
Likes
- College campus is very nice and it is located in main city of nagpur having all the sports facilities.
- Library section is so well maintained and air conditioning.
Dislikes
- Boys girls ratio is not so good as number of boys are more than number of girls.
- Hostel are good but bathroom are not maintained properly.
Remarks :
I wanted to be an engineer in future so I decided to take admission in any iit or nit. So I started to preparing for jee mains exam from allen jaipur an I got 97.7 percentile then I proceed to fill josaa counselling then college send me dates of physical reporting via mail physical reporting process done in 5 hours it is very easy .
Course Curriculum Overview :
I choose mechanical engineering because I am interested in it our all the professor are so good but they are not so much approachable that you can go and ask questions if you have unique and genuine doubt then they will explain there is one mid semester exam two quiz and one end semester exam end semester is difficult then mid semester exam.
Internships Opportunities :
From fifth semester students are eligible for internship and in our college many companies came to took students for summer internship last year my one of favourite senior got internship of 1 lakhs per month stipend they see the project and give real time work experience to students.
Placement Experience :
From seventh semester students are eligible for placement offers in college there are many companies came here to take students for placement offers like ITC TCS WIPRO INFYOSYS ACCENTURE etc they have minimum 7.5 cgpa criteria. My one of senior got placed in BPCL and wipro in my branch 95 percent student are able to crack placement.

Campus Life :
In the mont of November cultural fest of vnit occurs aarohi in aarohi 2024 nikhil D'Souza came for concert . In month of March technical fest occur named as axis . Library section of vnit is air conditioning and having all type of books and journals. Sports facilities in vnit is too good there is olympic size swimming pool and badminton court . In our campus there is 30 plus club you can join.
Hostel Facilities :
Yes I opted hostel in first year you will get double sharing room having two table and chairs two bed from second year there will be single occupancy room mess food is nice and menu of our mess changes every month there is feast dinner and special lunch on Thursday and Sunday respectively. Locality of hostel is safe as it is present in side campus.

Placement was Good as there is a placement cell in the college that looks on managing placement for students by inviting Companies from different sectors Companies like Amazon Deloitte, Accenture, Reliance, HCL, Hyundai, HDFC bank, YES Bank, Axis bank etc. These companies make a number of offers to students offers an average package ranges 3 LPA and highest was 28 - 32 LPA. Companies conduct interview sessions, practical test, GD for selection of students and students needs to qualify all rounds to get selected also Internship opportunities was provided by college to give students practical experience and to give knowledge. Internship was also provided by college to give students practical experience and knowledge about current changing environment.

Course Curriculum Overview :
i chose computer engineering because i was interested in the technical field and wanted to build my career in engineering. the faculty were qualified and helpful, and their teaching was a mix of thoery ,ppts and practical. term exams were conducted on time and the difficulty was moderate

Placement Experience :
Placement opportunities are not so widely discussed by our faculty. My plan after the program is to appear for ugc net exam and to become an assistant professor. The minimum salary for assistance professor post is approx 35000.

The placements & job opportunities in the campus placements is good in our college like honestly it is good and also it is reason for students to take admission because there are many company coming to college. The average package is around i will say is 4.5lpa of all branches and here ENTC and MECHANICAL branch have more than 96% placement rate The highest package is of 22lpa which was from CS. The ground reality the percentage of students placed from this college is around 70% like the core branches students have higher placement rates and technincal branches placement rate is of around 70%-80% the core branches students also gets placed in tech. The main recruiters are TCS,ESDS,WIPRO,TECH MAHINDRA,INFOSYS,L&T and more. NVIDIA was also there but last year they banned the college because some students cheated in online interview.

Placement Experience :
I haven't reached my placement stage yet but from what I have seen the college doesn't wait until the final year to start preparing students. We have coding sessions, skills building workshops and career guidance from the beginning. Seniors also share their experiences which gives us a better idea of what to expect. I feel the college is helping us build the right foundation for internships and placements. At the same time, I think getting a good job also depends on how much effort we put into improving our own skills. So far I feel I am on the right track

The number of companies coming for campus placements go down with each passing year. The companies that do come (TresVista mostly) are quite poor in terms of work ethic and payout methods. This year, around 40-45 students from the graduating batch got campus placement out of the 110-120 that applied.

Psychology as a field is highly recognized and growing sector after the lockdown,people are more focused on mental health,thus bhavans was the best option as they have Psychology department set for almost 20years which makes them more experienced. The teaching method of Dr.kranti Gawali the hod is excellent.

Placement are very good there are multiple job opportunities provided in a college multiple companies also visit for the placement in second third year students also internship provided and multiple students get PPO from that internship so but in 2024 the internship and placement both ratio is little low or the highest placement gone till now is only 35 lakh per annum
