Remarks :

The impressive Nirf ranking and reputation it had (since it is among top NITs) made me join this college . For admission i just gave JEE mains and on the basis of my rank i got a seat in this college. No additional tests, interviews or anything just centralised counselling rounds.

Course Curriculum Overview :

I chose this course because i wanted to pursue engineering since childhood, i loved to make things . The faculty here are highly qualified , having phD degrees and long experience of teaching. Though highly knowledgeable, many times there teaching couldn't be understood, they don't bother much about whether the students understand or not, they just give a lecture and go(Not all but most of the faculty). Exams are held regularly on time and the difficulty level is hard. Average class marks is below 60% in most courses.

Internships Opportunities :

A lot of internship opportunities are there as there are companies coming to campus after summer break for hiring interns, also there are summer internships mandatory for students , which are provided by the college.

Placement Experience :

Placements are decent here . In some top branches, the placement is very good. Highest package offered here is 88 LPA which was during last year's placement drive. Good number of students get placed every year, while many don't sit for placements as they plan to go for further higher studies.

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :

The total fees consists of Tution fees (which is 62500/semester for general candidate) and for students whose family income is <1 Lakhs is NIL, for students whose family income is in bracket of 1-5 Lakhs the tution fee is fixed Rs.20833 , other fees like Admission fees, Identity card fees, Alumni Association fees, Library fees, Campus LAN fees , Instituion development fees, Student activity fund, Medical aid & exam fee, Games fee, Student welfare fund, Career development fee, Convocation, Springspree & Technozion fee, Postal Charges, Department Association fee. Most of these other fees are yearly or onetime. Total per year fees is - 167500 for 1st year, 137500 for 2nd year , 137500 for 3rd year and 140300 for 4th year.

Campus Life :

NIT Warangal has two major fests - Technical fest "TECHNOZION" held in November and a massive cultural fest "Spring spree" held in Feb end. The overall campus life is very good, with regular events - both academic and for enjoyment keep happening . All the classrooms have smart board along with conventional chalk board. Good ventilated classrooms and labs and workshops with all required instruments. Almost all the sports are available in campus to indulge (except Swimming pool) e.g; Cricket ground , football ground(which is the same as for cricket), basketball courts (2) , Volleyball courts , badminton indoor courts along with some mats for casual playing in outdoors, Gymnasium in hostel as well as a central , Lawn tennis court , Kabaddi mats , Table tennis boards in hostels as well as centralised . There are several clubs run by students in which auditions are taken for recruitment and they conduct events. There is a common whatsapp group for regular updates.

Hostel Facilities :

The mess menu is very good with a variety of foods of all regions, the taste however is average (not so good ,not so bad). Also the management is quite good, it could be more better . Hostel is good, with all facilities and freedom. There are common rooms , study rooms and open spaces for utility. Allocation is done on the day of reporting and is a very easy process. Canteens are there near to hostel which are open till late night. The rooms are little small as there is no single occupancy mostly for freshers. It is double sharing/Triple sharing with adequate numbers of tables chairs and cupboards.

A glimpse of MRUH

Placement Experience :

The campus placements are good and there are companies coming in every year for fresh talent but it all comes down to our talent. We are provided with an opportunity but we have to work for it ourselves.

Not so great

Placement Experience :

Placements and Internships The placement opportunities at my college are average, with a limited number of companies visiting the campus every year. Students who maintain a good academic record and possess strong technical and communication skills have better chances of getting placed. Generally, students with no active backlogs and a minimum academic percentage as specified by the recruiting company are eligible to participate in campus placements. A few recruiters visit the college for hiring, mainly for entry-level roles in software, IT support, and core engineering domains. However, the number of offers is limited, and only around 40–50% of students secure campus placements. The average salary package offered ranges from ?3–4 LPA, while the highest package varies depending on the company and the student's performance. The college also encourages students to apply for paid internships, which help them gain practical industry experience and improve their technical skills

Learning, coding, and growing everyday

Placement Experience :

I am still in my second year, so I havent sat for placements yet. But the college starts preparing us early with coding practice, projects, aptitude training, resume building sessions, and mock interviews. FRom interacting with seniors, I have heard that students who stay consistent with their skills get good opportunities

Where learning meets industry

Placement Experience :

One good thing is that placements aren't treated as something that only matters in the final year. From the early semesters we are encouraged to build projects, improve our coding skills, and create a strong resume. That gives us enough time to prepare instead of rushing later. The college also shares internship opportunities and guides students through the application process. There are resume reviews, mock interviews, and career sessions that help us understand what companies expect. I feel the support is there throughout the journey, the more effort you put in, the more you can benefit from these opportunities.

A satisfying learning journey

Placement Experience :

Best part is the college doesn't wait until the final year to talk about careers. We get opportunities to work on projects, improve our coding, build resumes, and attend interview preparation sessions from the early semesters. Internship opportunities are shared regularly and the college guides students through the application process. This has helped me gain practical experience and understand what companies expect.

Learning, growth and great memories

Placement Experience :

From what I have experienced the college starts preparing us for placements much earlier than I expected. We regularly have coding practice, project work, resume reviews, aptitude sessions and mock interviews, so you are improving little by little instead of waiting for the final year. The college also shares internship and job opportunities with students. I feel the support is definitely there but your results depend on how much effort you put into building your skills.

College life beyond classroom

Placement Experience :

As a current student I haven't reached the final placement season yet but the college has already started preparing us. We get regular updates about internship opportunities, and many students apply from the early semester itself. Along with that there are sessions on resume writing, aptitude, communication skills and interview preparation. The college also encourages us to build projects and improve our technical skills, which helps while applying for internships. I feel these small efforts throughout the course will make a big difference when placements begun.
