Review for DLHS, MAGE, Bangalore
Remarks :
Since the college is relatively new there's no particular exam but there's an interview round and a minimum 12th grade score eligibility. The college is under MAHE so it provides great infrastructure for the students. For the interview, only basic questions related to the course are asked.
Course Curriculum Overview :
I chose the course because of my interest in psychology. Other than that, the faculty here is very well qualified. They have either completed theur PhD or are in the process of completing it. At the beginning of the academic year, an academic calendar is shared and all exams are done accordingly. There's hasn't been any delay so far.
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :
The college offers nearly 20 scholarships across varying disciplines and the fee reduction can be as much as 50% from the total tuition fee and can also apply to hostel charges as well. There are scholarships for Konkani speaking minority, armed forces, merit scholarships, etc.
Campus Life :
There are multiple fests or events that are organised by the college or the hostel management. The campus is well equipped with all kinds of sports facilities for the students and staff. All of the clubs are student run and there's wide spectrum to choose from whether it be dance, music, debate, drama, gender or mythology, there's a club for everyone here.
Hostel Facilities :
There are 4 hostel blocks as of now. The 5th one is under construction. There 2 mess options and the food provided in both of them is good. The food is warm and the portion served is satisfactory for most individuals. The hostel infrastructure in itself is pretty great. You get the option for double occupancy and single occupancy, Ac or non ac across 12 floors. The building is also equipped the smoke detectors in all rooms as well as fire alarms. The building has 3 staircases and 2 lifts.

There are top rated faculties which are present in the college who have pursued MBBS and MD degrees from top colleges and have for an exam to become a professor in this college and the teaching skills are pretty great as they make a topic pretty easy to understand for students

The placement and job opportunities are good in our college. Our college provides us only with UG Courses so most of the students pursue higher education after that. The placements are good in our college. If I talk about internships so they are very good. Our college provides both paid and unpaid internships to students.

The criteria is the cgpa should be above 7 and the companies visited are wipro, flipkart, amazon etc. the highest package is 48 lakh per annum and lowest pacuis 3 lakh per annum and the average is 6 lakh per annum
