Likes
- I like about my college is the library area which provides us a very nice surrounding for self study and is very spacious.
- Secondly I like about my college is the campus, though small but it is very greenery and clean all of the time so it feels nice to walk and sir in the open campus surrounding.
Dislikes
- I don't like the food of our canteen it's very unhygienic and tastes very poor .
- My campus life is good as I have many friends who made my college memorable. Secondly there are some faculty whom I don't like a bit so there's names are Gyana Ranjan Biswal, Pradipta Kumar Jena, Dhanjay Tripathi, these faculties have tortured me very often and they are not good with students i.e. always strict.
Remarks :
I got to know about my college from my councellor, he only suggested me for choosing this college as it was the best affordable college as per needs and money and not that much hi fi like other colleges that's why I chose for this college and this college is best for academics so this is the reason.
Course Curriculum Overview :
I chose for this course as it was very demanding at that time and the scope for course is also very good than others. Though I wanted to study computer science i didn't got it as it was more demanding than mine so I was not happy but I was not sad also and I was ready to go for any course , as same hardwork and will are needed for opting for any course.
Internships Opportunities :
Yes I have done internships, but were not paid it was from our college only some of the companies are EBox, Prep Labs, Ingenious Tech, Academor. The roles were of software trainee. The task of the projects were DevOps and mean and mern stack.
Placement Experience :
The placement and job opportunities of our college is very good . Last year a large number of recruiters came and done mass hiring. Some of them are Accenture, IBM, Capgemini, PWC, TCS, Mindtree. These companies hired a large number of students. And they all were very happy .
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :
The hostel fee is charged 2400 for us and the overall course fee/ tuition fee is 150000 and the electricity bill is 9000 and the water is also charged the same as electricity bill. The hostel caution money is 2000. The course caution money is 2500. Canteen caution money is also 2000 .
Campus Life :
The life at college campus is very good as everywhere your known ones will meet you anytime. I don't feel alone in my campus. Someone is always there to not make us feel so that's why it's not boring . The campus committee regularly arrange events for us which is very joyful and are much awaited. The fest is held in feb -march month. Every book one need is available in the library and is well maintained . Sports committee are there for those who want to play sports, one of the main sport which most of the students play is basketball and football and cricket. There are various clubs of sub - interested area such as for music and dance group - CSS( cultural and social society of silicon) STC ( theatre club) for drama enthusiasts and many more clubs.
Hostel Facilities :
In our college Silicon university we are provided with a single bed , pillow, matress, a study table, chair and cupboard. The rooms are spacious and clean.The hostelites avail food from the college canteen . The quality of food is moderate.

After completion of this course go for national health mission recruitment In odisha opsc amo exam conducted many students were passed the exam from our college and got posted. You can go for many pharmacy company 100 percent of students getting placement

There campus placement here are ok startups came here and many big mncs like tcs, flipkart etc. Some department get companies like the MBA but that is an exceptional case. No other department participate in campus drive or placement cell. Students need to apply off campus to get placed.

for placement students need to get atleast 7cgpa. The placement is decent where most students around 85% get placed . Main companies are accenture, tcs, infosys , cognizant etc. Highest package was 9lpa and average was around 4lpa . I plan to work in one of the companies i get placed in.

Placement Experience :
Students are eligible for placements from third year onwards on a condition that the student has good skills and created good projects. Companies are still coming to ITER since July, various companies like Wipro, Xerox, Paytm, Flipkart, DELL, Microsoft, TCS Infosys and various other MNCs and startups come to the campus for placements and also provide pre placement offers. Currently I have no idea about the highest and average packages as per the company and the profiles offered, but I know that the highest package offered in Iter has been 43 lakhs pa and the average package is around 6lacs-8lacs. There are certain criteria set by the college for the students to be eligible to sit in the placement, out of that more than 85% to 90% of eligible students have secured placements. Students also get internships from second year. After I get a degree and if I land a suitable job then it's okay otherwise I will look to get into civil services or defence.
Silicon university review
Placement Experience :
It has average placements. They also provide training for that. You will be eligible from 4th year. They also provide practice schools where the eligibility is 8 cgpa. They also provide training in the 3rd and 4th year. The companies which I know are Infosys Accenture Capgemini Genpact Mindfire solutions Mindtree. Tcs. pwC Deloitte Inovaare Tata Power Cosmovolt Tech Mahindra etc. They mostly provide the packages in the range 3.5-6 lpa ..The average oncampus placement this year was 4.5 lpa and the highest was 14.5 lpa. The 30 lpa shown was off campus. So you can get jobs according to your skills and cgpa . Overally the placement is just average but roi may be better.

Actually as I am a undergraduate I don't exactly know how much is the eligibility criteria for placement but I know that the guest lecturers are given according to number of classes they do in a month My plans after getting a degree is to give jrf net /gate and to further study in reasearch lines.

Placement Experience :
Eligibility criteria for placements are based on cgpa cut off and no backlogs are allowed. A few companies that came for recruitment are Infosys, Tcs , Accenture , Cognizant , Dell , Deloitte . Profiles offered are mostly of software engineer and average package is around 600000 per annum . My plan after getting degree is to go into software engineering job .

Placement Experience :
The placement scenario is quite good as most of the students get placed before the completion of course with a decent package. Average package is around 8lpa and the highest package till now is 60+ lpa.

Course Curriculum is well structured ,in first year, evry branch subjects are mostly common and from second year onwards they taught branch specific subjects. Faculties are highly educated and they are also clear their engineering from best colleges

Yes, we do have a placement cell over here and is quite good. Many well-known companies come to recruit their employees, and the companies are quite satisfied over our senior's hard work and smartness. Many companies like Google, Amazon, Flipkart, Delloyd, etc., come to give good placements to the students at the college. I don't know the exact numbers, but the highest package was around 45 lakhs, and the average package was around 5 lakhs per annum. The average percentage of students getting placements is roughly around 70% to 80%. Currently for me, I don't have a solid plan to what to do but you never know some miracle might happen. Just joking, I do have a plan for the near future, but I am little worried about the future that on one before me start that initiative that I have thought about it.
