- Infrastructure of college campas and hostels is too fancy . Some newly constructed blocks give hotel feel .
- Campus life is great , beach is 10 min from campus , arbi falls 5 min from campus and many other destination to explore
Dislikes
- U need to pay extra for swimming pool and using gym in campas. Also u have to walk a lot to reach academic block
Remarks :
The academic repution , reviews from alumini and relative review made me choose this college. Faculty is nice and exposure to real life projects and course are a boon . Even there are multiple student projects and clubs which u can join . Met is the entrance test for admission it is a written test. It has two rounds best of the two scores is considered for branch allotment . Cuttof varies from year to year . U can prepare for jee mains and give the entrance test for manipal .
Course Curriculum Overview :
Course curriculum gets updated every year and is sufficient for the placements . Academic is good and even faculty give u extra time if u need for doubts or research projects under their guidance. Exams are held twice in one semester mid sems and end sems of 30 and 50 mark’s respectively. 20 for internals including quiz and written assignment which is comparatively easy for you to score in . Faculty are highly qualified.
Internships Opportunities :
I havent opted for any internship as i am in second year. You can still apply for off campas internship during this time . U can create projects according to the role u want to apply in and get your cv shortlisted . It is difficult due tk competition
Placement Experience :
Minimum eligibility criteria for placements is having 7 plus cgpa with no active backlogs . Internship on campus are there in third year whereas placements in 4 year . Big companies like microsoft , tata , boeing, goldmansacs visit our campus. Average package offered varies from branch to branch and roles students have applied into. Highest this year was 42 lpa. My plan is to get placed in on campus placements or through internship and get pre placements offer .
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :
First year college fees is same for all branches that is 3 .2 lakh where as for my branch electronics and communication from second year it is 4.01 lakhs for consecutive years .caution fee for 10k which is refundable. My batchmates of branch eni cps have course fee of 3.5 lakhs.there is girl child scholarships for particular branches. There is scholarship if your rank is between 1-10000 where as consecutive year scholarship depends on your cgpa.
Campus Life :
Manipal for sure has the best college life . Exposure events and student project are there for socialising and learning skills u would need in future . Sports are there in campas . Big grounds for you to learn and showcase your talent . Competition happen from time to time . Inter mahe and inter colleges competitons are great way to showcase your talent . Revels is there in march end after mid sems where games are conducted and music artist come to perform. Manipal entrepreneurs submit is there in February where founders of big companies come for talk . All the books are available in library for studying.
Hostel Facilities :
Hostel have pretty good infrastructure with ac rooms single double and triple sharing . Mess is there in or near every block and food quality is decent . Menu changes every week . Applications for hostels open just after counselling rounds begin . There are other options to live pg and flats like embassy emerald shambhavi palace and more .

For our degree program we have well placement opportunities other than bsc agriculture and btech biotechnology. For our college only company will come like itc,shula wine, Nestle etc and they offer good package minimum around 4lakh and some have aptitude test and interview some direct interview

There are top rated faculties which are present in the college who have pursued MBBS and MD degrees from top colleges and have for an exam to become a professor in this college and the teaching skills are pretty great as they make a topic pretty easy to understand for students

The placement and job opportunities are good in our college. Our college provides us only with UG Courses so most of the students pursue higher education after that. The placements are good in our college. If I talk about internships so they are very good. Our college provides both paid and unpaid internships to students.

I got placed in a company called Glory Infinity Private Limited, there other offers from The math school infosys ultratech every student had multiple offers from company. Not A very high packages but good opportunities

The criteria is the cgpa should be above 7 and the companies visited are wipro, flipkart, amazon etc. the highest package is 48 lakh per annum and lowest pacuis 3 lakh per annum and the average is 6 lakh per annum

The placement of the college is excellent in the cse stream it has an average package of 9 lakh per annum and highest package of 38 lakh per annum it is a good salary or package for an engineer so it is good placement
BSc Physics at Jain University
Course Curriculum Overview :
Faculties are well qualified and some of them are doing active research. However the college does not have a very active research environment but they do not hinder a student from taking up projects outside. They provide all support like recommendations, attendance permissions etc.

All the faculties are well qualified and quite renowned in their research fields. However some of them have this quality of holding personal grudge and targeting. Some assume you know a lot and don't teach properly and expect more from the student. There is a lot of pressure even with internals, assignments and other things.

For placement, The student shouldnt have any backlogs. There are companies that are stated as "Great Places to Work" as well as some startups that come for college recruitment. The highest package last year (2023) was 6000000, and the average package of the university is approximately 850000. A good percentage of people who opt for placements do get placed decntly. My plans after my BBA are writing GMAT and going for my MBA abroad in a good college.
