- I like the campus , its environment is very green and very fresh . Me and my friends love it .
- Some faculties feels like family . They are very supportive and open to talk and ready to help with anything.
Dislikes
- Some faculties are very rude and don’t even care about students. The infrastructure is not good , in summer season the classroom becomes very hot .
Remarks :
I choose Tinsukia College because it is a government institution with affordable fees and a good academic reputation. The faculty is experienced and the location is convenient for daily commuting. Admissions Process The admission process is merit-based with no entrance exam , group discussion or personal interview . Selection is based on Class 12th marks , and reservations apply OBC ,SC and ST categories. Pros and Cons of Tinsukia College Pros : Affordable fees , good faculty and government recognition . Cons : Limited infrastructure, fewer extracurricular activities and overcrowded classrooms.
Course Curriculum Overview :
I chose this course due to my interest in plants , ecology and research. Its offers knowledge about plant physiology, genetics and conservation, leading to career opportunities in agriculture, forestry and environmental sciences.
Internships Opportunities :
As per my knowledge there is no internship program available in our college . They mainly focus on academic and nothing more . All it matters is marks , they dont care if you are understanding the topic or not
Placement Experience :
There is no placements and job opportunities here you only get the degree and thats it . But we are thought some skill enhancement courses that we can use after out degree. We ultimately have to give government entrance exams or start a business

Yearly Fee Structure Tinsukia College is a government institution, and students primarily pay in admission fee ranging from ?1000 to ?1500 per semester (every 6 months) . This means the yearly fee is approximately ?2000 to ?3000 .
Campus Life :
Campus life is simple , with a focus on academics. The library has books and journals but lack modern resources. Classrooms are basic , with green and white boards and benches. Sports and extracurricular activities are limited. The college host annual feasts , but details very. There are few students run club or social groups. Most students focus on studies rather than campus life . More cultural and sports activities would improve the experience.
Hostel Facilities :
Only girls hostel is available , no hostel for boys . The girls hostel is decent, the meals are also decent with poor hygiene and strict rules made by seniors . Seniors are not so friendly they are strict. Security is good.

Good-moderate faculty but maintenance of every other thing is very much not on time The authority doesn’t seem to be concerned about the students and delays every work and at the last moment you will be running around .

There are teachers under which u can work and later they can surely help u land a intership, happened with one of my friend. But as of now department dont directly provide u internship. I dont wanna say vague or old numbers about average or highest placement data, so wont comment on it but overall its not that great but there are exceptions, like there are some brilliant minds who lands an enormous off campus placement.(My 2 seniors who r out of india right now) Last year Bharat electronics BHEL came and took 8 seniors for 13lpa package, some banking companies and TCs comes too. My life in B.Borooah College as a science student
Placement Experience :
Placements At B. Borooah College for a BSc Forget it. There's no placement scene like you hear about. No companies come for recruitment drives. The so-called placement cell just puts up notices for government job ads or maybe a local pharmacy needing a helper. I've never seen a single big name visit campus to hire BSc grads. So there's no list of recruiters, no number of offers, and definitely no talk of high packages. Zero students get placed from here in that way. The plan after the degree is everything. For me, it's going for an MSc. For others, it's preparing for government exams, doing B.Ed., or applying to labs and hospitals directly. This college gives you the valid degree, the ticket to sit for other exams or apply further. It doesn't get you a job. It makes you eligible to go find one yourself. Your future is 100% in your own hands after you walk out.

There are 100% internship in Bsc agriculture are also good the average packages 3 to 4 LPA the highest package is 12 LPA percentage of students getting placements are about 70 - 80% the eligibility criteria depends upon the performance of the student on its practical work and its CGPA

The ratio of placement and job is very poor, this is a college of general degree course, so after passing B.Sc., B.Sc. one does not get a job directly, in future one has to do Masters degree, PhD.But data from the last three/four year revealed that students did get jobs in SBI and some other organization, but the percentage was very low.That is why most of the students after completing normal graduation take admission in courses like Masters and BEd, Deled.And my plan in future is to do Masters from IIT or IISER, after that I want to do PhD.

Life as a BTech Student at IIT guwahati
Placement Experience :
there is a CPI criteria of around 6 to sit for placements. The highest packages for bachelors can go up to 1.5cr. Companies in coding include Google, Amazon, Flipkart, Ola, Uber, finance companies like JP Morgan, Goldman Sachs and many more. Highest paying companies are AlphaGrep, Quadeye, JaneStreet but that is very competitive with only people with the best results and from CS getting in. Many people also receive preplacement offers after internships. There are also many companies that visit for product management roles like Ola, Meesho etc. The placement process for Design students is separate. There are also core companies like Texas instruments, that visit.
