Remarks :
I have heard many things about tinsukia college. Our college provide best laboratories for science students and also our college is well known for the management education our commerce department has awarded for the management education in Kolkata University.
Course Curriculum Overview :
My dream to become an chartered accountant and a financial advisor so my knowledge in finance have to be very sharp our institution provide best facilities to teach us . We have to give 2 sessional examination and 1 final examination and along with that our teachers also give us home assignments , group discussions , PPT presentation and viva this includes overall all our syllabus.
Internships Opportunities :
My dream is to be work in big4 companies like Deloitte etc but unfortunately our college doesn't provide internship in big4 companies. Our college provide internship in companies like royal Enfield, tata motors, etc
Placement Experience :
Our college provide internship after 3rd semester in graduation. And our college often organise placement programs in our college. Many of our seniors get placement from college and now they are doing well . Also after 3rd semester internship is also provided by our institution.
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :
Addmission -7000 1st semester form fill up - 1800 2nd semester addmission - 730 Our institution is a government college so fees are less than other private colleges. Our college just charged for the university ordered fees so this is flexible
Campus Life :
Social life is very much interesting in our college. Our college often organise many event and meetings all celebrates most of the important days . In our college library most of the important books are available like all departments important and famous authors books are available.
Hostel Facilities :
Girls hostel of tinsukia college is very clean and big and the food of the hostel are very tasty. Since I live near to the college so I don't apply for hostel but my friends who stays in hostel says the hostel of the college is very good ????

Good-moderate faculty but maintenance of every other thing is very much not on time The authority doesn’t seem to be concerned about the students and delays every work and at the last moment you will be running around .

Dream Campus, Not-So-Dream Jobs

There are teachers under which u can work and later they can surely help u land a intership, happened with one of my friend. But as of now department dont directly provide u internship. I dont wanna say vague or old numbers about average or highest placement data, so wont comment on it but overall its not that great but there are exceptions, like there are some brilliant minds who lands an enormous off campus placement.(My 2 seniors who r out of india right now) Last year Bharat electronics BHEL came and took 8 seniors for 13lpa package, some banking companies and TCs comes too. My plans after my degree is to get a job in electronic domain while also focusing on my photography and editing Passion Check my work on insta sodaa.edits
My life in B.Borooah College as a science student
Placement Experience :
Placements At B. Borooah College for a BSc Forget it. There's no placement scene like you hear about. No companies come for recruitment drives. The so-called placement cell just puts up notices for government job ads or maybe a local pharmacy needing a helper. I've never seen a single big name visit campus to hire BSc grads. So there's no list of recruiters, no number of offers, and definitely no talk of high packages. Zero students get placed from here in that way. The plan after the degree is everything. For me, it's going for an MSc. For others, it's preparing for government exams, doing B.Ed., or applying to labs and hospitals directly. This college gives you the valid degree, the ticket to sit for other exams or apply further. It doesn't get you a job. It makes you eligible to go find one yourself. Your future is 100% in your own hands after you walk out.

There are 100% internship in Bsc agriculture are also good the average packages 3 to 4 LPA the highest package is 12 LPA percentage of students getting placements are about 70 - 80% the eligibility criteria depends upon the performance of the student on its practical work and its CGPA

The ratio of placement and job is very poor, this is a college of general degree course, so after passing B.Sc., B.Sc. one does not get a job directly, in future one has to do Masters degree, PhD.But data from the last three/four year revealed that students did get jobs in SBI and some other organization, but the percentage was very low.That is why most of the students after completing normal graduation take admission in courses like Masters and BEd, Deled.And my plan in future is to do Masters from IIT or IISER, after that I want to do PhD.

Life as a BTech Student at IIT guwahati
Placement Experience :
there is a CPI criteria of around 6 to sit for placements. The highest packages for bachelors can go up to 1.5cr. Companies in coding include Google, Amazon, Flipkart, Ola, Uber, finance companies like JP Morgan, Goldman Sachs and many more. Highest paying companies are AlphaGrep, Quadeye, JaneStreet but that is very competitive with only people with the best results and from CS getting in. Many people also receive preplacement offers after internships. There are also many companies that visit for product management roles like Ola, Meesho etc. The placement process for Design students is separate. There are also core companies like Texas instruments, that visit.
