- College is not really big so you don't have to worry bout running from one block to another for attending classes .It has a outdoor skylab for emphasizing creativity among the students.
- Faculty is pretty good and they are absolute professionals in teaching
Dislikes
- Only thing I dislike is the college doesn't co-operate much with the students for outdoor activities like sports .
- Silicon also offers less number of holidays in comparison to other universities like kiit
Remarks :
This college has a very good faculty and keeps academics as their top priority. The campus environment is also good and seniors are really friendly. Fooding is average but one can sustain on it without getting sick. Only thing that bothers is they don't give you enough time for sports or extracurricular activities and upskilling.
Course Curriculum Overview :
Silicon provides excellent faculties including some IIT alumini. Here academics holds the top priority. The college has great things to offer like great labs for IOT (lab is called hyperspace) where you can sit back and learn more bout iot from seniors .
Internships Opportunities :
College has tie ups with companies who provide in campus internships on various skills including both hardware and software in a very low price of 5000 INR. You can also take internship from out campus but it should be approved by the infocell of silicon
Placement Experience :
It gets a pretty decent campus placements where a lot of good companies like wipro , TCS , ACCENTURE, COGNIZANT, etc join and students get a good chance to crack a package of more than 5 LPA. Silicon also offers entrepreneurship development and has a particular club dedicated to it
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :
The tuition fee is like 1.6l and exam registration and other expenses add up to it to make it a total of 1.7l . Now there has been a little change in the fee structure for the new students and now the fee goes up to 2L per year
Campus Life :
Students run multiple clubs from cultural activities to technical works. photography club is one of my fav where they teach a beginner from the very scratch and try to make him/her a professional in photography & videography. Coding club is also good as it hosts multiple events in a year offering decent pricepool in every event for the winners .

After completion of this course go for national health mission recruitment In odisha opsc amo exam conducted many students were passed the exam from our college and got posted. You can go for many pharmacy company 100 percent of students getting placement

There campus placement here are ok startups came here and many big mncs like tcs, flipkart etc. Some department get companies like the MBA but that is an exceptional case. No other department participate in campus drive or placement cell. Students need to apply off campus to get placed.

for placement students need to get atleast 7cgpa. The placement is decent where most students around 85% get placed . Main companies are accenture, tcs, infosys , cognizant etc. Highest package was 9lpa and average was around 4lpa . I plan to work in one of the companies i get placed in.

Placement Experience :
Students are eligible for placements from third year onwards on a condition that the student has good skills and created good projects. Companies are still coming to ITER since July, various companies like Wipro, Xerox, Paytm, Flipkart, DELL, Microsoft, TCS Infosys and various other MNCs and startups come to the campus for placements and also provide pre placement offers. Currently I have no idea about the highest and average packages as per the company and the profiles offered, but I know that the highest package offered in Iter has been 43 lakhs pa and the average package is around 6lacs-8lacs. There are certain criteria set by the college for the students to be eligible to sit in the placement, out of that more than 85% to 90% of eligible students have secured placements. Students also get internships from second year. After I get a degree and if I land a suitable job then it's okay otherwise I will look to get into civil services or defence.

It has average placements. They also provide training for that. You will be eligible from 4th year. They also provide practice schools where the eligibility is 8 cgpa. They also provide training in the 3rd and 4th year. The companies which I know are Infosys Accenture Capgemini Genpact Mindfire solutions Mindtree. Tcs. pwC Deloitte Inovaare Tata Power Cosmovolt Tech Mahindra etc. They mostly provide the packages in the range 3.5-6 lpa ..The average oncampus placement this year was 4.5 lpa and the highest was 14.5 lpa. The 30 lpa shown was off campus. So you can get jobs according to your skills and cgpa . Overally the placement is just average but roi may be better.

Actually as I am a undergraduate I don't exactly know how much is the eligibility criteria for placement but I know that the guest lecturers are given according to number of classes they do in a month My plans after getting a degree is to give jrf net /gate and to further study in reasearch lines.

Eligibility criteria for placements are based on cgpa cut off and no backlogs are allowed. A few companies that came for recruitment are Infosys, Tcs , Accenture , Cognizant , Dell , Deloitte . Profiles offered are mostly of software engineer and average package is around 600000 per annum . My plan after getting degree is to go into software engineering job .

The placement scenario is quite good as most of the students get placed before the completion of course with a decent package. Average package is around 8lpa and the highest package till now is 60+ lpa.

Course Curriculum is well structured ,in first year, evry branch subjects are mostly common and from second year onwards they taught branch specific subjects. Faculties are highly educated and they are also clear their engineering from best colleges

Yes, we do have a placement cell over here and is quite good. Many well-known companies come to recruit their employees, and the companies are quite satisfied over our senior's hard work and smartness. Many companies like Google, Amazon, Flipkart, Delloyd, etc., come to give good placements to the students at the college. I don't know the exact numbers, but the highest package was around 45 lakhs, and the average package was around 5 lakhs per annum. The average percentage of students getting placements is roughly around 70% to 80%. Currently for me, I don't have a solid plan to what to do but you never know some miracle might happen. Just joking, I do have a plan for the near future, but I am little worried about the future that on one before me start that initiative that I have thought about it.
