I got this college in second round of seat allocation, before that I got Deen Dayal Upadhyay college for Bcom hons but wanted to pursue Management studies that's why I opted for this college. There were no gd round , criteria was only to having a good Cuet score. I've done self preparation for cuet and it went well. I took only 2 months for preparation.
Course and curriculum both are highly professional. It helps in the holistic development of students opted for management as their course. If I talk about faculties then I would say that they all have higher qualifications with good no. Experience. They are always available whenever needed. They are easily approachable. In a year there are two semesters. And difficulty level of exams are moderate.
I haven't done any internship yet but looking for it after this semester. Institution innovation council of our college looks into Internship fair conducted around in our college. And I'm a part of it so I know how to connect with companies.
Placement and job opportunities are more for management and finance students than science field students. Most of the students went for higher studies that's why our placement cell is not very much active. But the highest package offered was 36lpa.
In first year I've paid 22350rs and in second year I've paid around 25000rs . There's a constant increase in fees per year. Apart from it , college also provides scholarships or fee concessions based on academic performance, castes categories etc .
Everything is great when you get good friends. Annual fest of our college is Karvaan which is conducted around last week of feb to first week of March. It is of 2 days. Outsiders are allowed only if they have registered to get the pass.
Food quality of the hostel is okay . But it can improve if authorities wanted to improve it. I'm not a part of hostel so I don't know about the no. Of rooms but I've heard that it's spacious. Hostel is only for first year students after that students have to search for rooms or pgs.
Placement at PGDAV college are average students who have good communication skills internships and extra certification usually gets better opportunities the placement cell is active and organise placement drives , workshops , resume building session and career building guidance student should not have any active backlog
PLACEMENT FOR BBA ARE AVERAGE WITH COMPANIES OFFERING ROLE IN SALES, MAREKTING, HR AND OPERATION. AVERAGE PACKAGE IS AROUND 3 TO 4 LAKH PER YEAR MANY STUDENTS ALSO PURSUE HIGHER STUDIES LIKE MBA TO IMPROVE THEIR CARRER OPPORTUNITIES.
The placement is good for students of commerce background and even many arts students get placement. But for science students, there are rarely any science background companies hiring as even as an intern. Many science students go for higher studies. So, Rarely science students get placement and if placed then not in company of science background.
I am as of in starting of 3rd year. The internship options are quiet really well. They give you many companies to apply in. .
I chose my course because I was interested in learning a business environment and management processes. Faculties are very well experienced and professional , and teaching methods are good. Term exams are held every 6 months and difficulty level is not very high .
Drc has a decent placement for bachelors students and cell is very active, invites companies like Amazon, Deloitte, ipac , accenture, etc and offers around 6-20 lac. But drc doesn't provide placements for master's students, though there are many external opportunities to grab in . Masters student do apply for internships in political and policy roles and even get placed in political consultancies and awarded with fellowships.
The placement opportunities are genuine, infact there is a dedicated placement cell in the college, companies like EY, Deloitte, KPMG, PwC too participate in our placement fairs and students have actually got good placements!
du sol provides placement in news 18, aaj tak and job opportunities as according to the course of student pursuing. just visit to du sol north campus head quarter ask for the facility they will provide . bad thing is they dont provide on regular basis.
The placement cell is quite active. There are always placement and internship fairs every year and even other college students can join them. The placement recruiters are from top companies like Deloitte, KPMG, EY, etc. Although, not every one gets in these companies but then, there are other companies as well like Finshots, Voice Your Vichaar, etc. The average package is 3LPA and highest package is 8LPA.
talking about placement opportunities many companies come to campus including google microsoft to core companies like texas instruments and bajaj giving a decent job opportunity. each one with a cgpa of more than 7 easily grasp job with pay of more than 12 lpa and people with decent cgpa of more than 8 grasp top jobs in the campus
