No, I didn't have to go through any GD for college admission and it was done through completely through JEE Mains. There was no additional exam needed one can get in YCCE through either JEE or MH-CET.
As an IOT student we were the first one to opt for this course, there were some shortcomings. But the faculty made it quite easy for us to understand everything course modules and everything. IoT labs were made for our batch especially to provide hands-on experience.
College provides and helps with internship, I got my internship at CODONS technology via my college as Data analyst intern. At YCCE the training and placement team provides with the list of companies that are looking for interns so it makes it easy for students to apply
Got placed in Infosys through campus placement drive. The only drawback is that once you are placed at any company you aren't elegible to apply for any other company through college placement drives.
As a generally category student my fees annual fees was 1,51,600 with an additional semester fees of 3000. Other than that fees varies for category student ranging from 3000 for SC students and 22000 for EWS students and 88000 for OBC students
The college life is quite thrilling at time, during the fest season its all chaos and energy filled. People participate from entire nation as both the technical and non technical fest are at national level. Students and teachers contribute equally to make this an grandeur event.
I haven't reached my placement stage yet but from what I have seen the college doesn't wait until the final year to start preparing students. We have coding sessions, skills building workshops and career guidance from the beginning. Seniors also share their experiences which gives us a better idea of what to expect. I feel the college is helping us build the right foundation for internships and placements. At the same time, I think getting a good job also depends on how much effort we put into improving our own skills. So far I feel I am on the right track
no placement data is present now but many of students are working on their own projects and few are cracked the internships and now currently serving their period on the companies and it's really great opportunities.
The college does have a placement cell. It provides some in campus placements . Rarely 2% students get in campus placements. Rest have to find jobs pn their own. You wi have to do alot of interships and gain practical skills to be placed

The faculty members are supporting but inexperienced the experienced professionals have left the college long time ago. This is one of the old colleges in Pune. The semesters are generally proactive extracurricular activities are less and are given not much priority .

engineering course curriculum is very old specially for university batch students my batch get admission in 2022 at that our college is not get autonomous status. passing semester exams is little hard in university compare to autonomous batch. faculties teachings methods are very old. And not practical learning provided.
there are lots of mnc company visted college every year, most of companies have there eligiblity criteria is 60% and above overall from 10th, the biggest tech companies like tcs, wipro, accenture, deloitte, infosys, the average package is around 3lpa, every year 50 to 70% students getting placed.
The placements are nice. Majorly Hafiz contractor firm take students. But a lot of firms do come fruit placement. Take interview and hire students. Last year a lot of students got placements based on their portfolios and skills And got salaries ranging from 2,50,000-6,00,000 Annually.
The placement and job opportunities in college is good the MOU's signed by company are good almost 40-50% of college gets placement remaining go for off campus placements there are companies like TCS , Accenture etc
