Yes I did have to give a CET to get this college under the merit basis and there was also an entrance exam conducted for people who were joining from management Kota, so they were multiple different and rounds through which people could take their branch which they wanted to join. They wanted to pursue.
Faculty was duly qualified and had their Phd’s done and few had them ongoing and their teaching also synced with the college students due to their vast experience and also there were two unit test such as mid semester exams conducted and there was one test conducted that exam conducted on every semester end, which concluded that the student was passed or
There are multiple internship opportunities given by College as well as the students, so the students were given internship and placement opportunities through the placement and training cell of YCCE, which helped them quite nicely
The eligibility criteria for placement was that you do not have any backs in your semesters and also you had to clear all your exams. Apart from the FT and logical reasoning test conducted for a specific company which required specific people to join and for higher package, companies placement and training also helped in many many ways.
I paid 1,52,000 in my first two years coming from general category. The fees vary according to category and they tend to decrease in the consequent year (till the final year) SC students have fees 8-9k per year EWS have to pay around 40k and so on.
The college life was amazing and the campus life and the social clubs which I was involved in a really good. Huge cultural fest organised named and it was a technical cultural and sports fest which was organised on a yearly basis. Apart from that departmental first organised on a period of month that is August to September. I didn’t talk for an Hostel so I don’t have any idea regarding that, but as I’ve heard from my friend, the Hostel is quite moderate livable and being with different from girls hostel, which is quite good. The boys hostel lacks a few communities but has gym and other activities conducted also for the students Such as Ganesh Chaturthi.
The placements & job opportunities in the campus placements is good in our college like honestly it is good and also it is reason for students to take admission because there are many company coming to college. I haven't reached my placement stage yet but from what I have seen the college doesn't wait until the final year to start preparing students. We have coding sessions, skills building workshops and career guidance from the beginning. Seniors also share their experiences which gives us a better idea of what to expect. I feel the college is helping us build the right foundation for internships and placements. At the same time, I think getting a good job also depends on how much effort we put into improving our own skills. So far I feel I am on the right track
no placement data is present now but many of students are working on their own projects and few are cracked the internships and now currently serving their period on the companies and it's really great opportunities.
The college does have a placement cell. It provides some in campus placements . Rarely 2% students get in campus placements. Rest have to find jobs pn their own. You wi have to do alot of interships and gain practical skills to be placed
Diffrent companies have different criteria, limited companies comes in campus such as bootcoding Pvt.Ltd , and some small companies arrived. Highest package giving by companies is 4 LPA lowest package is 3LPA and average package is 2.5LPA. about 20% of students got placed. Searching a job after my course computation.
The faculty members are supporting but inexperienced the experienced professionals have left the college long time ago. This is one of the old colleges in Pune. The semesters are generally proactive extracurricular activities are less and are given not much priority .
