- I was amazed when I saw my College infrastructure ,The mainbuilding ,Wind-Tunnel,Dogra Hall ,LHC are so well design and have their own speciality. Friend that I made here was so good to be fun with and enjoying each and ever moment with them
- Night Canteens, Biotech Lawn ,Nescafe stalls and Exhall CCD are the crowded places with students of intellectual mins which excites me most
Dislikes
- In rainy season water accumulation occurs in front of my hostel creating too much mess.
- I don't like The Acadmic grading System of IITs that they gave the same grade to let say a 50 marks and 59 marks student and gave a grade more at 60 marks that is unfair for student who just lose their one grade that affects his or her CGPA heavily
Remarks :
IIT Delhi, One of the premium institute of india in terms of Studies, Engineering , Entrepenourship , StartUps, Sports and extra curricullar activities. Situated in South Delhi which is much greener then rest of it.To persue engineering, the best institute is iit so I wrote the exams like JEE MAINS and JEE ADVANCED. And after the result of Jee Advanced I search about the iits in india .I found IIT DELHI to be the best fit for me.
Course Curriculum Overview :
Course curriculum of IITDelhi is too hectic for the 1st year students as per my experience .Because there is no Branch Studies involved in 1st year.Students of all branches studies the Same thing whether it is Computer science or Textile. From 2nd year ,My branch Which is Chemical engg said to be less hectic and you be having Free time to develop your skills and personality other than acadmics. The Teaching methods of professors are very different from each other..Some professor just read out the slides that they have made for the lectures.but some profs. Eloborates each and every concepts behind the thing which is happening and give more and more examples of that situation.
Internships Opportunities :
No.Internship opportunities are available in college .The intern season starts at starting of 3rd year of any students to be intern for any company for 1or 2 months in summer vacation after completion of 3rd year .All the companies that I mentioned earlier also came for Intern ang gave stipend of like 1lakh/months .Cunsulting ,Engg. core, Tech. companies visits for interns and nearly 50-60 % students got the intern in their whole batch
Placement Experience :
Placement season started at the end of 7th semester of an 4th year students. A lots of Companies visits our Collage for recruitement. Some company shortlist students for interview round on the basis of CGPA, written exam ,Skills ,Branch criteria and many more .Companies like wipro, Amazon ,Flipkart, TCS ,google ,Microsoft visits us and Gave avg . Pakages of 22-25lakhs per annum CTC. And the highest pakage of last year is 3.2 cr/annum.nearly 90% of students who sits for placements got placed in any of the companies.Some of ghe students do not want to sit for placements as ther have other goals in life as start-up ,Tradings ,Creative fields ,Design and Filming etc
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :
Tuition fees per semester is 100000/- rupees,So it will be 8lakhs for a Btech course.But for Those students whose family income is less than 5 lakhs ruppees and greater than 1lakh ruppees it will be 33,333 ruppee per semester.If any student have family income less than 1lakh ruppee the tuition fee will be free of cost.SC/ST students also given complete Fee waiver. There are many scholarship available for students in need . One of the schlolarship is that if you got a Cgpa of 6.5 or more and have family income less than 4.5 lakhs then you will get full fee waiver and 1000 ruppee per month.there are Sports scholarship for Institiute players playing for the team of iitDelhi. And many more private firms provide help to the students ans shortlisted them on the badis of interview.
Campus Life :
Campus life other than academics is very Chill for my type of people.there are so much Clubs and Sports and Fests which keep us engaging with each other.Rendezvous,Our Annual cultural fest held in October in which a lot of fun activities happens Stalls ,Games ,Night concert ,Celebrities interactions ,Stand-up shows,, LiveStages and the decoration of college at thatvtime is just Woowww...There much more fests as Speranza(Fresher's Fest),BeCon (entrepenourship Fest),Tryst (Technical Fest) ,Sportech (sports fest).Virasat (indian classical fest) and many clubs related fest ..Clubs like Dramatics ,Dance ,Photography and Filmmaking ,Fine Arts and Fashion, Design ,Literary ,Quizzing,Debating ,Music Club and spic macay are the Clubs of IITDELHI the fests and Clubs are run by Students of our Collage itself
Hostel Facilities :
In Our college, In first interaction the 2nd question we asked each other was their Hostel and On basis of that We have already judged the person as of their Hostel Lagecy.Hostel Competetiveness in inter hostel Competions whether it is a match of General Campionship (GC) for Sports or A competition for RCA trophy (Cultural clubs).Unity and patriotism were shown by Students of each hostel. Talking About My hostel ,1st yearites got a room and 2roommates with it which contains A bed, a table ,A chair, Almirah for storage. Mess food is just Edible but very rarely it just too good that we didn't have to order from zomato or Swiggy.

The placement is good for students of commerce background and even many arts students get placement. But for science students, there are rarely any science background companies hiring as even as an intern. Many science students go for higher studies. So, Rarely science students get placement and if placed then not in company of science background.

I chose my course because I was interested in learning a business environment and management processes. Faculties are very well experienced and professional , and teaching methods are good. Term exams are held every 6 months and difficulty level is not very high .
Doing masters in political science from Daulat Ram college
Placement Experience :
Drc has a decent placement for bachelors students and cell is very active, invites companies like Amazon, Deloitte, ipac , accenture, etc and offers around 6-20 lac. But drc doesn't provide placements for master's students, though there are many external opportunities to grab in . Masters student do apply for internships in political and policy roles and even get placed in political consultancies and awarded with fellowships.

The placement opportunities are genuine, infact there is a dedicated placement cell in the college, companies like EY, Deloitte, KPMG, PwC too participate in our placement fairs and students have actually got good placements!

du sol provides placement in news 18, aaj tak and job opportunities as according to the course of student pursuing. just visit to du sol north campus head quarter ask for the facility they will provide . bad thing is they dont provide on regular basis.

The placement cell is quite active. There are always placement and internship fairs every year and even other college students can join them. The placement recruiters are from top companies like Deloitte, KPMG, EY, etc. Although, not every one gets in these companies but then, there are other companies as well like Finshots, Voice Your Vichaar, etc. The average package is 3LPA and highest package is 8LPA.
