There is the Common Law Admission Test(CLAT) that I gave which got me admission into the college. There were no such interviews or group discussions- admission is just based on the clat exam and there are 300-350 seats for the same.
I chose this course as I had great interest in the field of law which propelled me to give the CLAT exam and join the university. The faculty is mostly based out of the top law schools in the country and they are highly qualified. The academic rigour is quite high and there are many exams held in one term which are at moderate- difficult level.
There is a one month period of mandatory internship that one has to go through and the rest are not mandatory. Also, most of the internships are unpaid but some of them are paid which offer stipends. The tasks are majorly sectored around the legal profession and involve drafting etc.
The placement opportunities are pretty good and students are placed on the basis of their overall CGPA accumulated over the past 5 years which grants them placement into the top law firms and companies in the country.
It is 413000 for the first year and sticks to 381000 for the next 4 years. Students can also avail scholarships like the Aditya Birla Scholarship etc. Also, some students get financial aid which makes their fees almost negligible. Fees are hiked every year.
The social life at NLSIU is a blend of diverse cultures and ethnicities which give deep insights into the multicultural setting that India actually has. This is further bolstered with the organization of events that are pretty vibrant. The infrastructure is quite good and there is a state of the art library which houses books from all genres.
The hostels are provided based on the city in which you live. For example if you are a resident of Bengaluru it is difficult for you to get a hostel on campus. There are 5 hostels for boys and 5 for girls and special accommodation outside in a hotel like building called olive. Mess food is pretty bland but can get better on some days.
For our degree program we have well placement opportunities other than bsc agriculture and btech biotechnology. For our college only company will come like itc, shula wine, Nestle etc and they offer good package minimum around 4lakh and some have aptitude test and interview some direct interview
There are top rated faculties which are present in the college who have pursued MBBS and MD degrees from top colleges and have for an exam to become a professor in this college and the teaching skills are pretty great as they make a topic pretty easy to understand for students
The placement and job opportunities are good in our college. Our college provides us only with UG Courses so most of the students pursue higher education after that. The placements are good in our college. If I talk about internships so they are very good. Our college provides both paid and unpaid internships to students.
the average package is 6 lpa and highest is 14 lpa and there is a placement cell that helps students to get placed. the placement rate of our college is 90%. and the companies come to our college is tcs, tech mahindra, infotech, zelethra, wipro etc.

The placement of the college is excellent in the cse stream it has an average package of 9 lakh per annum and highest package of 38 lakh per annum it is a good salary or package for an engineer so it is good placement
Faculties are well qualified and some of them are doing active research. However the college does not have a very active research environment but they do not hinder a student from taking up projects outside. They provide all support like recommendations, attendance permissions etc.
All the faculties are well qualified and quite renowned in their research fields. However some of them have this quality of holding personal grudge and targeting. Some assume you know a lot and don't teach properly and expect more from the student. There is a lot of pressure even with internals, assignments and other things.
For placement, The student shouldnt have any backlogs. There are companies that are stated as "Great Places to Work" as well as some startups that come for college recruitment. The highest package last year (2023) was 6000000, and the average package of the university is approximately 850000. A good percentage of people who opt for placements do get placed decntly. My plans after my BBA are writing GMAT and going for my MBA abroad in a good college.
