Remarks :
NLSIU is ranked (currently) as the no. 1 law college in the country. Admissions are decided based on students’ results in the written CLAT examination. I prepared for this exam by regularly attempting mock papers and keeping up with current affairs (for the general knowledge segment of the paper). For general category students, a rank of 200 and below is enough to get admission. The CLAT examination is multiple choice and marked out of 150.
Course Curriculum Overview :
This course offers a mix of BA subjects and law subjects, faculty are highly experienced and well versed in their subject. Term exams are always conducted in a timely manner. The exams are difficult, but the well trained faculty ensure students are prepped to do well in the exams
Internships Opportunities :
I have interned at an NGO during my trimester break. The college provides a list of companies which have been vetted and approved by the college, and students will have to mail the company and will then proceed to intern there.
Placement Experience :
Since this is the best law college, several top firms take in NLSIU students, placements are not commonplace however. Internships are compulsory and the college will provide companies to intern with, the student must simply mail the company and will get accepted based on availability
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :
Yearly fees is same as written above, additional mess fees of 67500 (yearly) and hostel fees of 45000 (yearly) and a one time deposit of 18000 for general category students are also added to the yearly fees
Campus Life :
Student run clubs are the norm in NLSIU, there are several clubs including debate clubs, cultural clubs, and so on. Sports are an extracurricular activity that all students can pursue. Events are organized regularly, with each club having specific events across each trimester.
Hostel Facilities :
Food quality is good, with specialists being employed to ensure food is nutritious for the students, rooms are cleaned weekly and are comfortable, fans, lights, desk, chair, dresser and a cupboard are provided by the college, hostel registration will be done during orientation itself, and rooms are allotted (to students from Bangalore) based on availability. Students from outside the city are guaranteed a hostel room

There are top rated faculties which are present in the college who have pursued MBBS and MD degrees from top colleges and have for an exam to become a professor in this college and the teaching skills are pretty great as they make a topic pretty easy to understand for students

The placement and job opportunities are good in our college. Our college provides us only with UG Courses so most of the students pursue higher education after that. The placements are good in our college. If I talk about internships so they are very good. Our college provides both paid and unpaid internships to students.

the average package is 6 lpa and highest is 14 lpa and there is a placement cell that helps students to get placed. the placement rate of our college is 90%. and the companies come to our college is tcs, tech mahindra, infotech, zelethra, wipro etc.

The criteria is the cgpa should be above 7 and the companies visited are wipro, flipkart, amazon etc. the highest package is 48 lakh per annum and lowest pacuis 3 lakh per annum and the average is 6 lakh per annum

Eligibility for the placements is 7+ cgpa if you have higher cgpa higher the chances of you getting shortlisted for the interview and it will be easy for you Recuriters visited Cisco,Visa,Emerson,NetApp and many more for the internships and full time Highest package is 56 LPA and average package will be around 10 LPA for the computer science and Engineering for other branches it may vary

The placement of the college is excellent in the cse stream it has an average package of 9 lakh per annum and highest package of 38 lakh per annum it is a good salary or package for an engineer so it is good placement

All the faculties are extremely well qualified from top institutions of the world and they are all extremely approachable and nice. The term exams we had were split like CP1, CP2, and CP3 of 20+25+25 marks each. They were some easy ones, and some application based, which develops the engineering thinking mindset
