- The infrastructure is very good in the college. There is a gym and a court. There ia Idea lab in the college which is the only one in the entire state. There are seminar halls in every floor. There are two buildings namely gimt and gips
- The campus life is good in the college. Everyone is friendly there and there are various clubs to be enrolled in the college
Dislikes
- The field and can be improved. The field is not that good.
- The canteen can be improved. I don't like the canteen food personally.
Remarks :
I submitted my class 12 boards marks to the college and they enrolled me in their course. There is not any specific exam to get enrolled in this university, if the person has enough merit percentage in the boards exams then he can enroll in this university
Course Curriculum Overview :
My course is BBA and it is a quite interesting course. The couse curriculum is quite simple and the subjects are easy to understand. The faculty is also very supportive and helps us with our problem. They are very friendly to us
Internships Opportunities :
The college provides various internship to the students. This year i did my placements in HERO SHOWROOM near my college. The internship were mostly unpaid internships. Though some paid internship are also provided by the university
Placement Experience :
The placement cell of our university provides placements every year to the top and bright students of the university. Even the mediocre students get decent jobs through the college placement cell. I'm in last semester now and i will seat in placement at the end of the semester
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :
The yearly fees of BBA course is 38000 INR which means the semester fees is 19000 INR. There is scholarship criteria too for the students. I didnt have any scholarship so I don't know the full details
Campus Life :
Campus life is good. There are 2 hostels in the campus, one boys hostel and one girls hostel. There is a huge field in the campus and a pond too which makes the campus more charming. There are various clubs in our university for the students namely sports,musical, dance, photography,sci fi, acting, modelling etc.
Hostel Facilities :
Yes i was in hostel for 2 years and the hostel was quite good. The hostel mess is very clean and they keep it very hygienic throughout the day. The food is okay okay type. They serve veg in day and and non veg in night. 2 days chicken 2 day fish 2 day egg and 1 day paneer

Good-moderate faculty but maintenance of every other thing is very much not on time The authority doesn’t seem to be concerned about the students and delays every work and at the last moment you will be running around .

Dream Campus, Not-So-Dream Jobs

There are teachers under which u can work and later they can surely help u land a intership, happened with one of my friend. But as of now department dont directly provide u internship. I dont wanna say vague or old numbers about average or highest placement data, so wont comment on it but overall its not that great but there are exceptions, like there are some brilliant minds who lands an enormous off campus placement.(My 2 seniors who r out of india right now) Last year Bharat electronics BHEL came and took 8 seniors for 13lpa package, some banking companies and TCs comes too. My plans after my degree is to get a job in electronic domain while also focusing on my photography and editing Passion Check my work on insta sodaa.edits
My life in B.Borooah College as a science student
Placement Experience :
Placements At B. Borooah College for a BSc Forget it. There's no placement scene like you hear about. No companies come for recruitment drives. The so-called placement cell just puts up notices for government job ads or maybe a local pharmacy needing a helper. I've never seen a single big name visit campus to hire BSc grads. So there's no list of recruiters, no number of offers, and definitely no talk of high packages. Zero students get placed from here in that way. The plan after the degree is everything. For me, it's going for an MSc. For others, it's preparing for government exams, doing B.Ed., or applying to labs and hospitals directly. This college gives you the valid degree, the ticket to sit for other exams or apply further. It doesn't get you a job. It makes you eligible to go find one yourself. Your future is 100% in your own hands after you walk out.

There are 100% internship in Bsc agriculture are also good the average packages 3 to 4 LPA the highest package is 12 LPA percentage of students getting placements are about 70 - 80% the eligibility criteria depends upon the performance of the student on its practical work and its CGPA

The ratio of placement and job is very poor, this is a college of general degree course, so after passing B.Sc., B.Sc. one does not get a job directly, in future one has to do Masters degree, PhD.But data from the last three/four year revealed that students did get jobs in SBI and some other organization, but the percentage was very low.That is why most of the students after completing normal graduation take admission in courses like Masters and BEd, Deled.And my plan in future is to do Masters from IIT or IISER, after that I want to do PhD.

Life as a BTech Student at IIT guwahati
Placement Experience :
there is a CPI criteria of around 6 to sit for placements. The highest packages for bachelors can go up to 1.5cr. Companies in coding include Google, Amazon, Flipkart, Ola, Uber, finance companies like JP Morgan, Goldman Sachs and many more. Highest paying companies are AlphaGrep, Quadeye, JaneStreet but that is very competitive with only people with the best results and from CS getting in. Many people also receive preplacement offers after internships. There are also many companies that visit for product management roles like Ola, Meesho etc. The placement process for Design students is separate. There are also core companies like Texas instruments, that visit.

I choose this course because I am interested in learning coding and I want to seek my future in this line. I am finding some difficulties in understanding the subjects and topics but I believe it is because I am new to this field and new to everything.
