- Great labs and apparatus and have top of the line equipments especially for machanical engineering.
- Faculties are understanding and some of them are young so they relate with you.
Dislikes
- Too many students compared to the space, for your free time you have no choice but to leave the campus as it is very crowded
- Too strict on uniform. It's not a school that you can't let us in just because we have the wrong socks on
Remarks :
There were no admission exams and i was not called for any interviews. I chose the institution due to its high reputation in uttarakhand and many of my cousins also got placed with high packges in great companies form here
Course Curriculum Overview :
I had other choices like Bca, but Btech stood out due to it's better curriculum and that it gives you a deeper knowledge in the field of engineering rather than just giving a touch of topics in Bca...
Internships Opportunities :
No as for now I haven't, but my seniors have and got good placements after that too. But they also had the same complaint about the attendance, that college didn't provide them with attendance during their internship.
Placement Experience :
GEHU offers great placements which is one of the main reasons for my addmission here, But for internships they have strict rules on attendance and the placement cell only provides NOC if you get an intership through the campus placements and have stipends above 25k
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :
fees is nearly 1,30,000 for btech after 25% discount that is only for students belonging to uttarakhand. No discount for categories/Castes. Your 12th PCM percentage also reflects your fee as for people having more than 95% in 12th PCM it can be as low as 85000/ sem .
Campus Life :
This is where i think my campus lags, if you want to gain the full college experience I don't think Graphic era hill is for you, GEHU is more of a school rather than a college with strict rules on uniform, attendance and extracurricular activities.
Hostel Facilities :
I am a day scholer so i don't have much info on that but as far as i have heard most of our hostels are great except one. Mess also have great food and there are no such complaints from students. I heard the staff is cool too

Placement Experience :
Companies do come here for placements and many students get placed as well but there's always the student factor as not everyone deserves to be placed either. My seniors are getting placed at 8.7 to 40 lpa specially the mba courses are getting placed higher.

the placement support at DBS has been one of the best strongest aspects of my experience. the university regularly organized internship and live project, mock interview, aptitude training and industry interaction to prepare students for placements.
Underrated university for pursuing Management courses
Placement Experience :
To sit for placements, the students have to be in 3 semester. Few famous companies that came in for placements are HCL, Tech Mahindra, ICICI, ANZ, Infosys, Wipro, etc. The highest package this year went up to 40 LPA and average package was 8.7 LPA. Around 95% of students got placed this year. For me I want to work in corporate for a few years then I want to pursue my PHD side by side.

College have decent placement percentage which is ofcourse higher than other local colleges near by.Our college have avg package around 6LPA and every year big companies like TCS visit our college for recruitment offering good packages.

I am preparing for other services currently but yes the college do provide good opportunities for future, even the college has good record in placement for AME, BHM, BCA, PHARMACY courses. Majority of students apply for further studies in our course.

I would say the college really provides wide opportunities to the specialization courses, as I preferred to go for further studies, but my batchmates got placed in good environmental industries because of the Degree.

Placements are very good. Placement criteria is based on cgpa and student behaviour. Good cgpa and no back allowed you to sit in placement. Highest package is 1.24 cr and average package is 4lpa. About 60% students get placed per year from campus. Tech Mahindra, TCS, wipro, Deloitte HCL etc companies visited fir placement.

Course Curriculum Overview :
I choose this course mainly because I wanted to pursue marketing for quite some time as I am extremely extroverted person. The faculty here are pretty well qualified atleast the ones who have taught me they really take interest in making everyone interact and share opinions
